We have stayed here many times on Mothers Day weekend, so normally full park. Here at the end of March was a lot of spaces available. They are doing a major construction of all new water and electrical lines including upgraded connections. Still looks like at least another 2 or 3 months to complete. However, this did not cause of any problems of walking or getting into the available sites. All sites are asphalt paved but normally requires leveling. The staff is always great and friendly and make you feel most welcome. Propane and gas/diesel available...pricey. Easy walk to the beach and the downtown area. The indoor pool and hot tub is a big hit with the grandkids. We definitely hope to return for many years to come. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Major grocery shopping: Safeway in Seaside, OR (10 miles) Fred Meyer in Warrenton, OR (20 miles). Take the short walk to the beach to marvel at the majestic "Haystack Rock"!

This park has a great location and is way better than the other major park in nearby Seaside, but be aware that if you're coming there now, it is under major renovation. Lots of trenching as they upgrade power / water / sewer to the newer standards, and you hear the backhoe all day long.

For instance, they put us into a very tight spot at first with only 30 amp power, and after I complained, moved us to a newly-upgraded spot with one big caveat - stay off the newly-reseeded grass! We basically had to do the mambo ducking under our living room slide as we came and went, and even then, it was just one big muck pile right outside our door. That made for a messy stay.

Also, I'm glad that our car has a backup camera, because even when backed up within 2-3 inches of our coach, our little Honda CR/V was hanging a little bit out into the lane.

On the plus side, WiFi was the in the top 5 of all the parks we've been in during our last two years full-timing it throughout the country. Cable TV was also really good - lots of channels, and nice digital picture quality.

We'd come back again just because of lack of competition, and hopefully the next time all the work will be done. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall, the campground is great. Service at the office was great. But when it's been rainy, which it often is on the Oregon coast, the campsites are mud holes. The RV pads are concrete, but you step out in mud. Also, when walking around, there's dog poop everywhere. I know it's the dog owner's responsibility to clean up after their pet, but when they don't, the park needs to do something. It was gross. Never saw any camp hosts outside patrolling, cleaning up, or checking on things. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We just dropped down from Washington and this is our first time RVing on the Oregon coast. This time of year it's a bit slow, so we got our pick of a great site. The sites are nice and large, tree lined and a beautiful setting. Sites are all blacktopped, as are the roads. They have a saltwater pool and hot tub, nice treat after driving all day in the rain and fog. The staff was friendly and helpful. We plan on staying for three days and explore the area. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 3 weeks. The park is beautiful and the amenities were satisfactory. The pool & spa good could use some updating and the laundry facilities could be expanded.

The location is excellent a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown Cannon Beach.

Overall, loved it. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stopped off here while driving down the Oregon coast. The park is very close to town, but no so close for the noise of highway 101. The bathrooms are clean and the pool and hot tub was just right for kids. The late evening restriction for adult only was very nice.

Our site was on the outside of a loop, which made our "backyard" a canopy of trees and ferns. The site was a little uneven and the mosquitos were out for the summer but overall a great place to stay.

We would stay here again for the location and great amenities, especially for the price. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

If you like trees this is the place for you. It's almost like RVing in the forest here though the sites are a bit close together. It took 3" of blocking to level the trailer at my site. We had a pull-through site (asphalt if I remember correctly) but it was a bit short for the trailer and the parked truck. I had to angle the truck at the end of the site. The WiFi was excellent (we had a repeater right next to our trailer). The park was fairly busy but still quiet. Laundry room was good. Gas and Diesel are available but on the pricey side. The park management staff was very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful park, terraced lots with plenty of room between them, park like setting. Very gracious, helpful staff. Very nice park. Would stay here again. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Not close to the beach, but worth the extra hike.

We were here two weeks, including Memorial Day weekend. It was full that weekend. Nice spacious park with most sites under trees. Internal roads are paved, sites are asphalt with grass between sites. Most sites are back-ins. We had a long pull-through but we still had to unhook the tow vehicle to be able to fit. Hookups are near the middle. Water pressure was awesome. Wi-Fi was also blazing fast but we were also very close to the antenna. Cable was included. They also sell diesel and gas, a little expensive, tho.

Most sites were level; ours required minimal leveling. They were doing a lot of landscaping during our stay - cutting grass and trimming tree limbs. The indoor pool was nice but the water could've been a little warmer. Laundry room had HE washers. Camp store is mostly snack foods. No enclosed off leash dog park, just a grassy area next to the office with plastic bags and a trash bin. The beach and Haystack Rock is a nice level walk about 3/4 mile into town. Office staff and maintenance guy are awesome. One of the nicest campgrounds we've been to. Will definitely return. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For groceries, there's a Safeway at Seaside and a Fred Meyer in Warrenton. For pet food and supplies, there's a Petco in Warrenton. The markets in town have groceries but are expensive.

This is our 10th time to stay in this park. Needless to say we like it. The lots are paved but usually need a bit of leveling. They are all nestled in the the trees, which is beautiful but impossible for satellite. There is a wonderful indoor pool. The store is reasonably equipped. Gas and diesel is available, but is expensive. The channel guide that is provided bears no resemblance to what is available. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Cannon Beach is a fun little town. The beach is a postcard beach. Seaside is about 10 miles north with lots of tourist stuff, factory outlets. Over abundance of restaurants, etc.

Highly recommend this campground. Close to beach but far enough away that you are out of any crowded or noisy tourist traffic. Roads are paved, sites are grassy, bathrooms are clean with good showers, store is adequate, and lots of trees for shade. Indoor pool is nice but in need of some renovation. Not a lot of privacy from your next door neighbors, but our back-in site was quite large so this wasn't an issue for us. The pull-thrus were a bit closer together though. Back-in sites seemed larger and more pleasant to me than the pull-thrus. Unless your rig is quite large, I would opt for a back-in site at the rear of the park. Would stay again without hesitation. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

I like rustic feeling parks with campfires and all the amenities so gave it a nine. Bathrooms are more like a state park, but the handicapped facility does have a hand held shower and the strongest hot water pressure I have encountered in a long time. Easy to get to was a help on our late night arrival. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Right off the Hwy across from Cannon Beach. Surprisingly quiet at night, no road noise. A distant roar from the surf at Cannon Beach, but that is not considered noise - is it?

Sites are paved, mostly back in. Some pull thrus available. All full hookup. Lots of trees make for shady sites. Space between sites is just OK, but no greenery of any sort to provide some privacy. It's a 20-30 minute walk to the beach with the Haystack Rock. Our second stay here and we will be back again. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Good - great indoor pool, lovely location, quiet, and close enough to town to ride bus or bike. Outside maintenance staff hard working and helpful.

The Bad-Office personnel lack customer service skills or experience, do as little as possible, and are more interested in visiting with each other than serving customers. Low tree limbs and sloping sites make large rig parking a chore in many sites. Lots of dog poop everywhere.

The Ugly -Neighborhood people with large dogs are allowed to bring their dogs into the park off leash, tromp thru occupied sites, and not pick up after their dog. My complaint to the office staff met with dismissal and a wave of the hand, "Oh, they are local and allowed to come in without a leash-the dog is under verbal command." What command are they waiting for? "Please,Fiedo, don't kill that little dog that is on a leash and poop now before we get home." We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
