This is a great spot for exploring both South and North on the Pacific Coast Scenic Bi-way. The sites are well spaced and laid out in such a way as to not really see the camper next to you. You can walk to Cannon Beach by taking the blacktop trail on the left as you leave the campground (which had lots of wild blackberries on the wooded side). The campground is quiet, shaded and grassy. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Really enjoyed our stay here, close to Cannon Beach. Easy access to campground, check in was quick and helpful. Some of the sites are a little close but quite manageable. Lots of TV channels, good WiFi. Firepits and wood available$, picnic table at site. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Although they fit a lot of RVs in the park, it is laid out well. Proximity to coastal area and value makes it a winner. This was our second time here. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pretty forested location, very close to Cannon Beach (we rode bikes there several times) and the cute little town with restaurants and shops. Even though it was sold out, it didn't feel too crowded. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We were able to secure a reservation for site #69 at the end of the row while making plans to visit Oregon. The staff was just great; very friendly and helpful. When we got to our site, we found our cable didn't work. We walked back to the office and spoke to the girl who had checked us in (unfortunately, we didn't get her name, but she was the super friendly blonde young lady). She said they'd been having problems with the cable in that area (they had recently upgraded their cable system, and apparently the cable company didn't do it correctly). She did say she would try calling someone to come out, but since it was a Friday afternoon, we didn't think we'd hear anything. Well, not only did an electrician come out to try to troubleshoot the problem, but that young lady also came down to our site to offer us a coupon worth $25 for a local seafood restaurant. Now that's customer service! The location of the park is excellent...easy walking to the beach and town. It has an indoor pool, which our visiting grandkids loved. We had a really nice stay in a really nice park...the only reason we didn't give it a 10 is because of not having cable at the site (but our nice neighbors let us tie into their cable so it was all good!). We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sites have been upgraded and paved. Sites are level. Best WiFi in any park we've ever been in. Tall trees that are trimmed to accommodate the taller rigs. Staff is absolutely great. Quick to respond to any request. Cannon Beach is nearby with lots of shopping and good places to eat. We will definitely be coming here again. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The spaces are not anything special. There are some that abut the neighboring wooded area, which are nice. They are mostly back in. The pool is ok, though not useful for swimming laps. The hot tub/spa was well cared for and cleaned. There was almost no one there, and there was plenty of room and heat to practice yoga. The internet did not work, and neither did the cable. Though I have my own wifi card, and don't use the internet, some people may find that irritating. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice fairly level back-ins with full shade under trees. Area very quiet with no road noise. We could actually hear the ocean that was about 1/2 mile away. Close with only a short drive to all that down town Cannon Beach and the beach has to offer. H2O pressure good. Cable TV reception excellent but Wi-Fi very limited. Not sure what the attraction to this park is. It is basically a state park...crowded, dirt/gravel sites, no cable or wifi. Trees caught roof while backing in. Site was very nice size but with all the vehicles parked in adjacent sites backing in was a challenge. Nice I guess for overnight but not the type of park we prefer. This was our 4th time here. The Manager is a wonderful, hard working lady - as are the staff members. Sometimes requests are not well addressed but we did not have anything major....if major I know it would be addressed promptly. They are packed full during the high season. It is very shady at the sites...very nice. They are working on more upgrading. WiFi was pretty much standard for an RV park; not great but seems it always got better once the server came out and "tweaked and re-booted" it. God willing, we will make the trip one more time before we have to forego our rv travel - now in the 19th year part time. It is a long way from AZ! We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Walk the beaches !!!! Indian Beach in Ecola State Park, Hug Point (at low tide), south from Mo's. Do like I did - shoot lots of pictures of the beaches and Haystack Rock - I shot about 900+ images in the three weeks (but I am now a pro photographer since people want to buy from me!) The bakery in town is outstanding.

Friendly, efficient checkin. Good pullthru site, all utilities fine (site not yet upgraded). Leveled without blocks. Fair separation between sites.

No Verizon data, barely useable AT&T phone, no AT&T data. Park wifi ok during day, very slow evenings.

Crowded, some 3-vehicle sites with 6-10 people. Weekends in particular are busy. Children riding bikes thru our site at high speed, so close I would have knocked one down if I had opened our door while they were racing thru. This would be a good place before/after school vacation.

Nice walk to town and beaches, this is the best and most convenient spot if you want to stay in Cannon Beach. The recently-opened Pelican Brewery is only a few blocks away and offers a wide variety of excellent food (and beer). Very crowded, so get there early to get a table without waiting. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ecola State Park nearby had nice trails and views, but parts still closed from storm damage. (And the road in still has big drop-off that was there six years ago). Manzanita, to the south, is a nice day trip and interesting to walk around; very nice beach there which is not as popular as Cannon Beach. Tide pools this year were disappointing, basically not much there.

This is the best option if you are visiting Cannon Beach. It is in walking distance to the downtown area and yet secluded from the noise of the nearby highway. This is usually a busy spot, reserve early. The best sites for back-ins are the single digit ones. Staff is friendly and efficient. The park is also in the process of upgrading sites and facilities. We go back again and again. The price reflects and extended stay and multi-discounts. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times on Mothers Day weekend, so normally full park. Here at the end of March was a lot of spaces available. They are doing a major construction of all new water and electrical lines including upgraded connections. Still looks like at least another 2 or 3 months to complete. However, this did not cause of any problems of walking or getting into the available sites. All sites are asphalt paved but normally requires leveling. The staff is always great and friendly and make you feel most welcome. Propane and gas/diesel available...pricey. Easy walk to the beach and the downtown area. The indoor pool and hot tub is a big hit with the grandkids. We definitely hope to return for many years to come. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park has a great location and is way better than the other major park in nearby Seaside, but be aware that if you're coming there now, it is under major renovation. Lots of trenching as they upgrade power / water / sewer to the newer standards, and you hear the backhoe all day long.

For instance, they put us into a very tight spot at first with only 30 amp power, and after I complained, moved us to a newly-upgraded spot with one big caveat - stay off the newly-reseeded grass! We basically had to do the mambo ducking under our living room slide as we came and went, and even then, it was just one big muck pile right outside our door. That made for a messy stay.

Also, I'm glad that our car has a backup camera, because even when backed up within 2-3 inches of our coach, our little Honda CR/V was hanging a little bit out into the lane.

On the plus side, WiFi was the in the top 5 of all the parks we've been in during our last two years full-timing it throughout the country. Cable TV was also really good - lots of channels, and nice digital picture quality.

We'd come back again just because of lack of competition, and hopefully the next time all the work will be done. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall, the campground is great. Service at the office was great. But when it's been rainy, which it often is on the Oregon coast, the campsites are mud holes. The RV pads are concrete, but you step out in mud. Also, when walking around, there's dog poop everywhere. I know it's the dog owner's responsibility to clean up after their pet, but when they don't, the park needs to do something. It was gross. Never saw any camp hosts outside patrolling, cleaning up, or checking on things. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
