I would like to start this review by saying that this park is nice for tent campers and very small trailers. We travel in a 33 foot fifth wheel and weren't easily accommodated. The spaces are not groomed. There were overhanging limbs scraping the trailer. The septic hook up was not easily accessed. The bathrooms were so well used that they were constantly dirty and should have been cleaned at least twice a day. They were also not private enough. Shower curtains were mildewy. The septic dump was located at the entrance to the men's bathroom. The park was very expensive for the type of park that it was. Also, the laundry room was the most expensive that we have ever used. The general store was not open due to lack of personnel. This space would be much better for a small trailer or very small motorhome. It also needs to be groomed so that branches don't hit the trailer. Too many blackberry bushes. We would not recommend this RV Park to anybody we knew other than campers. Our observation is that there are other parks in the area that are better kept and cheaper. Overall, this isn't the type of park for people who want amenities. No Wi-Fi or cable. It is walking distance to Cannon Beach, which is nice for people who like to walk. The office personnel at check in were very hospitable and nice. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

This park sometimes refers to itself in its advertising as a "Resort" and at other times as an "RV Park and Stables." It is neither, as there are a number of tent sites which make it a "campground." Nothing wrong with that, it's just that one expects more amenities at an RV Resort, and no tents at an "RV Park." So we are reviewing this as a campground. Pros: The biggest and most compelling pro is that this campground is well within walking distance of downtown Cannon Beach where there is a lot to see, do, eat and drink (and is right on the ocean). Additionally it is just outside of Ecola State Park which is a very large and beautiful ocean and forest park. The other big pro were the number of rabbits in the park including many babies that provided hours of entertainment as many would come right into your campsite to eat, sleep and play. Cons: The advertised store was closed and had been for some time. The bathrooms, while clean, were old. There were limited sewer hook-ups although there was a dump station right outside of the men's rest room. Might have been difficult for larger rigs to use (ours is 32 feet) without a second person to direct you as it required a u-turn with some backing and forthing to get close. Sites kind of went every which way. The sewer sites were situated in parking lot-like areas. A note: $50.00 a night is a lot, but prices in Cannon Beach are high so, considering the cost of doing business there, the price seemed reasonable. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a large ocean front, sandy beach area just a few blocks from the park. There are also a lot of good places to eat. On many nights the community theatre performs.

We've been coming to this campground for years because of its location walking distance from both downtown Cannon Beach and the beach itself. It also has a lovely setting on a creek and horses in the pasture next to the creek and bunnies all over the place. It has had its ups and downs and has had some decent upgrades in recent years including all new electrical hookups, but it is still a very old campground with mostly tent sites. There are a fair number of hook up sites that'll accommodate small to medium size rigs but only a handful suitable for big rigs. The toilet/showers are clean and functional but old and not very appealing. For a price of $50 now for a E & W site, I feel it is a ripoff. But everything in Cannon Beach is expensive so I guess they are charging what the market can bear. It's too bad, because I love coming here, but that is just too high of a price for what you get despite the convenient location. Verizon and T-Mobile work fine but there is no wi-fi. Also I have NEVER been there when the so-called "General Store" has been open. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Truck Camper.

Nice check-in lady. No pull throughs. No marked roads within the park. Very eclectic - positioning of sites is wherever the owner thought another vehicle would fit. Sewer sites are jury-rigged with connections sometimes horizontal and 18 inches above the ground. All the hook-ups are in the very back of the sites demanding, sometimes, very long hoses and electricity cables. Close to the city -easy walking distance to the main downtown area and beach. Fairly quiet as it is somewhat off of Rt.101. Prices are high in Cannon Beach as it appears to be a high demand area. $55 for these park is high, but it is Cannon Beach after all. It is well within a Tsunami zone. Look at the photos from 1964 that wiped this area clean. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Motorhome.

Private park just across the street from Ecola State Park. Near the town of Cannon Beach. Small campground, not all have sewer connections. VERY tight for our 36' travel trailer. No way possible to access the RV Dump station, don't even try if you have a trailer more than 16 feet. Must circle around a "cul-de-sac" to access the dump. This park accommodates smaller RV's or tents very well. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Travel Trailer.

This is not a very nice campground but it's proximity to downtown Cannon Beach keeps us coming back. They finally upgraded the infrastructure so sites with power have 50 amp on a post like it should be. Previously a lot of sites had only outdoor style 15 amp outlets stuck in the ground. Roads are tight and narrow especially with camp site vehicles blocking some of the roadway. TV reception is absent. Wifi is all but nonexistent. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The artsy town of Cannon Beach is a 10 minute walk from the rv park. Don't miss Haystack Rock (a one mile walk from the rv park) and low tide. They have an interpretive truck parked there to explain all the wildlife in the tide pools and on the rock.

This is a nice campground and RV park. The sites are all wooded and plenty of space. Very pet friendly. It is just a 5-minute walk to "downtown" Cannon Beach and the ocean. Warning: very spotty wifi and NO TV reception from either cable, antenna, or satellite. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Motorhome.

The advantage is that it is close to town. The showers were decent, but the guy wanted to clean at 8:00 am in the morning. Really. There is no WIFI. This is a huge negative in this day and age. They say they have WIFI but you cannot log in. Don't believe. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Travel Trailer.

We've been to this place many times over the years. Some things have improved. Others have not. It is way overpriced in my opinion for what you get EXCEPT for the location. It is on lovely Ecola creek and is walking distance to the beach and the downtown area of Cannon Beach. There are stables on the premises and horses graze in the pasture adjacent to the RV park and they do trail rides on the beach during the summer months. Didn't use them, but the restroom/showers appear to be basic and older, but functional, although there is no place to sit in the shower area at all. The "General Store/Coffee bar" or whatever it is called is seldom open. There's no wi-fi either which in this day & age is unacceptable, especially at this price. Also, be aware that some of the "electric & water" sites only have 120 ac service, no 30 or 50 amp. We were not told this at check in. It didn't matter to us as we have a converter plug to connect our 30 amp to the 120 outlet and that's all we need, but you should check on this if you decide to come here. Oh, and they also charge $3 per day extra per dog! That really irks me. We come to Cannon Beach for the art festivals and this is a great base for that so, yeah, we'll probably come back again, but only because of that. If all you want is to camp near the Oregon coast, you can do a lot better. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

There are two annual art festivals in Cannon Beach: the Spring Unveiling in May, and the Stormy Weather Art Festival in November. Both feature artist demos in most of the galleries and receptions in the evening where you can sip a nice free glass of wine and enjoy munchies while you get to peruse all the wonderful art. Can't beat that!

This facility is in major need of maintenance! The urinal in the restroom was plugged & overflowing and the toilets were filthy. The store that is advertised is not open on a regular basis. The picnic tables are in poor, if not dangerous, condition. Quiet time is not enforced. The dumpster needed to be emptied and was overflowing. The owner was very rude. The park was poorly maintained, littered with trash, fallen limbs and leaves, and unwatered greenery. The wi-fi was too weak to use. The dump is located near the entrance, and we had to back in at an inconvenient angle, dodging children who were allowed to run and ride bikes in the area. We had to partially block the way of incoming and exiting campers.

We won't be visiting this park again. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Travel Trailer.

'Rustic' is not the right word - delapidated is more accurate. Laundry has 3 washers - 2 were out of order on day one. Staff tries to make excuses and blame users but after a week the 'supposed' third party vendor had still not repaired washers. Laundry closed due to 'maintenance'? Small town - no laundromat. You have to drive 10 miles for gas, groceries, or laundry. They charge full stay upon arrival so staff has no reason to try to please clients. No refunds. They do not care if their facility is clean or in working order. Sites are small - utilities ancient and I think risky. Unlevel, not well drained, no USPS service, The ONLY good thing is that it is only a couple of block from the beach. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in a cabin and also had a small (class B) motor home I parked next to the cabin. They charged us $140 a night. The hot water in cabin lasted about 3 minutes before it went cold. They charge extra for just about everything, expect add on bills. The "large" Cabin is extremely cramped you must provide your own linens. WiFi worked because there were not many people in the campground. The facilities are pretty basic. $140 a night was outrageously expensive wish we had gone to a hotel for that price. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Campground Cabin.

The Oregon coast is a wet place in March and this park has few sites that are free of standing water when it's raining. The few that are free of standing water are so because they're sloped and require significant leveling. Another negative to us was that the electrical hook-up had no cover so the connection was exposed to rain and dripping water. We camped at Sea Ranch RV Park & Stables in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 2 nights. No internet was available during those 2 days. We complained numerous times but problem still didn't get fixed. The office lady was very rude and unhelpful. The campsite was very crowded and cramped with minimal privacy. Having stables on site was a nice treat, although expensive ($70 per hour). The trail ride was onto Cannon Beach which was a first for us. The location was good and only a 3 minute walk to town and about 5 to the Beach. We are not sure it was worth the money.
