This park was recently renovated. New bathroom and showers. Easy pull through, right in the Williamson River. Large trout jumping in the river, abundant bird life, geese, ducks, swallows. Very scenic. We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is in a beautiful location. The Williamson River was right outside our motorhome door. The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The park has new owners and you can see the massive improvements that have been done. The bathrooms and laundry room are all band new and very clean. A very relaxing beautiful stay we had. We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pull thrus, next to the highway, far to expensive for the location. Very tiny sites even if you have no slides. We had a great spot but there where no neighbours otherwise we could not put our awning out. The utilities of the neighbour where next to our table. If they charge $24 it would have been a little better value for money. We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

30 minutes drive to Crater Lake National Park, on your way up there is a campground, full hook up for the same price. Looked better and more spacious.

When we inquired about any available sites we were initially told they were full.... Unless we wanted a water and electric only. The site we were put into was perfect for what we needed. Bathrooms weren't spotless but I wouldn't consider them necessarily dirty either. It's an established park with aging facilities but they serve their purpose. Access to the river is great and we saw all sorts of wildlife along the banks. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Spend some time watching the wildlife down by the river. We saw a hawk dive for fish, an owl, and lots of ducks. Bring bug spray if you go down by the river.

Second visit to this park over 10 years. Not much has changed. Nice view of river from front row. Relaxing location. Great place to hang out midweek. Lots of fishermen on weekends. Manager was nice, but park could use a little work. Sewer dump is a little inconvenient to use. Short road leading to campground from Hwy 97 is pretty dusty. Would stay here again. We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is at the junction of Hwys 97 and 62. Ideal location for visiting Crater Lake south entrance when the north is closed. Cute mom & pop campground, riverfront with fishing available. Satellite friendly. We would return. We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Motorhome.

Manager was very nice. Spaces are level. Right off hwy 97 near the 62, which is the south entrance to Crater Lake. We would stay here again. We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Motorhome.
