Overall Rating:

The family managing this park provides top notch customer service and that's why I'm rating so high. This was hands-down our best experience communicating with RV park staff. She returned voicemails as soon as possible. We checked in after office hours, but the daughters came up to greet us and got us in the right spot. Welcome packet was taped to our electrical box and included a hand-written note and some goodies. Husband brought our package that had been delivered that day to us even though it was after their office-hours. When we paid the next morning, she provided us a number of good suggestions of things to do. Stayed two nights; wish it could have been longer. Sounds like it can be hard to get a site here as 70% are long-term. Park is smaller, quiet, and well kept. We were in site 16 which was next to the fence by the exit. Plenty of space for our 40' fifth wheel and truck. There was a nice big grassy area between us and the next site down, and the managers graciously let us park our extra vehicle/trailer in the grass. We did not feel cramped at all. Luckily there was no RV site across the road from our site so that made it easier for backing in and getting out. When we plugged our EMS box into the 50-amp it gave us a notice about faulty ground, so we plugged into the 30-amp and had no problems. (I think now that our EMS was the issue). Water/sewer worked as desired. Trees around, but none that would scrape the RV. The entrance to the park can be a bit tricky - it's pretty much one lane, you go between a building and a fence. You may need to take up both lanes of the highway to turn in, but light traffic on this road. We did NOT take exit 22 off I-84 and are glad. The grade is uphill heading towards the park and there are many tight turns. Exit 18 was easier; there is one narrow curve down the road a bit after you exit and you feel like you want to take up both lanes. You go under a bridge and you can't see oncoming traffic so just be cautious. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very small park in a great location for sightseeing. Getting to the park has it's challenges. One option is a 1.5 mile 10 percent grade hill and the other is a narrow, curvy, two-lane road for 7 miles. Neither ideal for a big rig but I did it in low traffic time of day. It's easiest to get into the park by going through the fire station parking lot. Discuss all of this when making a reservation. I called way ahead and got the best site in the park - a long pull-thru, FHU with 50 amp. Not many are open for satellite but this one is. All utilities were great and free Wifi was excellent. Strong Verizon signal. All sites looked pretty level but I don't know the hookup situation at others. Office staff is excellent - friendly, helpful, flexible. Rate is partial Passport America for a week stay. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Walmart and Camping World about 15 minutes. Drive the historic highway in a small vehicle as it is narrow and tight hairpin turns.

Mix up with reservation and they didn't have a spot for us when we arrived. Turns out that we were accidentally booked at their sister resort. They were very apolegetic and acommodating. This park only has 25 spots and approximately 15 are full-time residents. They allowed us to use their overflow spot for our 3 nights. Site had water and sewer but no electric and they allowed us to use our generator. Luckily we didn't need it too much and only ran it sparingly so as not to upset the neighbors. We would stay there again as everything else was great. The staff was friendly and allowed us to complete check-in after we were set-up and satisfied. They also gave lots of good tourist info and a few maps. Clean laundry and bathrooms and the location can't be beat. Rate reflects the inconvenience of not having electric. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Water & electric site. Very helpful manager. She thought the site had 50 amp service but it was only 15 amp. Fortunately there was 30 amp service available near another site reachable with an extra power cord. Site required quite a bit of leveling. If using I-84 to reach the park use exit 18 rather than 22, since 22 requires climbing a 10% grade with many curves to reach the park. Park sign is very small and entry is directly east of the fire station and will require a wide turn into it. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

I lived full time in my RV here for several months. The park is quiet, well kept, located right on the Columbia River Scenic Highway, and offers the right balance between recreational activities and access to Portland. The neighbors were friendly and made it a community. The price was great, especially considering the location. Spaces are fairly wide, especially compared to the tightly packed, and more expensive, parks closer to Portland. The only thing I found lacking was Internet speed. The wifi connection was free, but dropped quite often. That's typical for most RV parks. I would highly recommend this park. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Corbett Country Market is a convenient walk across the road. Gas is VERY expensive there, so be sure to fill up in Troutdale. There are no services between Troutdale/Corbett and Cascade Locks. This is a great park, but very small. I recommend calling in advance to be sure they have openings.

This is our favorite RV park !!! according to an overall feel we were looking for in a park.

It's a small park, about 15 spots, some of the people are seasonal but everyone is super friendly. We immediately felt like we could stay here for a long time. It's the only park that you WON'T hear the train it is very quite, maybe some of the others may look nicer but this one feels welcoming and family like.

It's in the heart of Columbia Valley, on the hill. It is only 25min away from Portland but has the best location for hiking and more attractions around.

Wifi works GREAT!!!! Water pressure is very good.

Our dog loved it here and she's picky ;)

It doesn't look perfect but rather feels very homey, each spot has nice green grass on both sides and the spots has nice space between each other.

We've never given a park 10 stars, even not the "resort" really beautiful ones, but this one even though it's not prettiest, it's just made us feel like we belong. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There's a general store right across the street that got some food, deli and more.

25min from downtown Portland , there are a lot of hiking trails near by, wineries.

Make sure to visit the charming beautiful town of Hood River!!

A very nice little park with very friendly folks. Maneuvering's a bit tight, but doable. Site was a bit off level. Rate is full rate-- no PA in June. Park entry is on a curve in the road, so access and egress can be tricky. Manager watched traffic for us on departure. Arriving, we took Exit 18, avoiding grade and tight curves (40ft MH with tow). When approaching the park from west, look for pale green commercial buildings on the right. Entry is on the right IMMEDIATELY after! Managers interrupted their dinner to greet us. Park is very well kept, with trees, very pleasant atmosphere. We just stayed one overnight, but they were very helpful with sightseeing info, etc. I would stay there again. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 2 nights as part of our tour of the Columbia Gorge. When we arrived, we had a mechanical problem and the manager of the RV park was very helpful in advising a mechanic who could help us and called first thing the next day to see if it was possible to get our service done. Also, we were allowed to pitch a screen tent for myself & my dog as my husband took the vehicle into be serviced. What could have been a very negative experience was resolved satisfactorily and enabled us to enjoy the area. We would return to this campsite on our next trip to Oregon. Nice little RV park in Corbett, east of Portland. All but one spot filled with monthly renters but they evidently keep the one pull-through for overnighters. Right on old Hwy 30, a great place to stay while visiting the Columbia Gorge. Great Wi-Fi and antenna TV reception. Friendly managers. Rate was only $17.50 with Passport America. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a week while checking out the area. This is a nice small park with level sites and good utilities. All sites but one are back-in. There is no cable but we were able to pickup several TV channels using our antenna. The Wi-Fi is very good. We took exit 22 to the park but it is a very steep road with tight turns, exit 18 is much better. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We would stay here again. Overall Rating:

Small park, only 21 sites, mostly monthly renters. In a very small town 20 miles east of Portland. No cable TV, but satellite signal is good. Wi-Fi signal was strong and free. No pool or spa or store. Some trees. Clean laundry and restroom. Gravel pads, grass and table at every site, quiet. Well maintained with very friendly and helpful on site managers. We stayed 5 nights to tour the Columbia Gorge, Mt Hood and Portland. $17 for pull through with full hook ups with Passport America. We would stay here again. Don’t use the GPS directions, follow the directions on the web site page. The GPS will send you on a very narrow, windy and steep road. Take exit 18 off hwy 84, not exit 22. Turn into the parking lot west of the fire station, then enter the park to avoid a very sharp turn. Only discount available is Passport America. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very helpful and friendly staff! They go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Park is small but nicely kept and clean. WiFi is among the best I've ever had on a campground and is free. No interruptions and strong signal. Lots are more or less level and gravel, green grass just next to it. Quiet and a very nice spot if you're in the Greater Portland area. I would definitely stay at this park again. Make sure you use I-84 exit 18 (and not 22). Takes you longer but you avoid a very steep grade hill. When you approach the fire station on the right hand side in Corbett, pull in before the fire station and drive around it, especially if you have a big rig. The actual turn is just after the fire station, but quite narrow. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
