Park is very nice. Quite a ways off the interstate, in fact we kept driving and driving. My husband wanted to turn around, thinking there was no park, but we found this jewel and it is very nice. On the side is a great golf course that was being used by many. Only downside to this was that there were a lot of ants out on the artificial grass that was at each camp site. I was a bit worried they might come into the RV but they didn't. Hostess was very cordial as well. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The office people were helpful and polite. Our site, as most if not all, was gravel and fairly level. We had a bit of grass with a picnic table, but no firepit/grill. No fires are allowed. Hookups were easy; the sewer is slightly above ground level. WiFi was a bit slow but not bad, and mostly stayed up. Verizon signal was strong. Bathroom/showers and laundry were clean. When we didn't have a neighbor, the view from inside our RV was fantastic. When walking around, you can get all kinds of great views, including one from an observation platform they set up at the edge of Osborne Canyon. This is a super nice RV park and we would love to stay here again. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

To get to this RV park you have to go through Terrebone, OR and the traffic is a bit congested... just be patient! After that, access is quite easy and navigation inside the park is very easy, with wide areas for turning.

We went to nearby Smith Rock State Park and were blown away and how beautiful it was. We did the Misery Ridge trail -- which was pretty tough -- but saw the park from many angles, so if you're into hiking, this is a fantastic trek. We ate at Pump House Bar & Grill in Terrebonne, and it was great.

What a beautiful place; including the golf course. The grounds were immaculate; one of the most clean, manicured, and well-kept we've seen. The surrounding canyon is very picturesque. Our one singular complaint was the coin-operated showers. I'd rather pay more on my nightly rate (which was very reasonable, by the way). If they need to limit use, or whatever, I can understand that. However, if they're going to charge for showers, PLEASE, install a stinkin' quarter dispensing machine! Still, it's a beautiful place and I would stay again if needing a central-Oregon stop-over. Recommended. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park has potential. Great views and is quiet. However the park roads are gravel and rather dusty; this is Central Oregon. NOT all spaces are equal in size or quality! Some spots have grass and cement blocks for the picnic table, while others have no grass or just artificial grass under the table. Also due to fire hazard you are not allowed to have fires. Some spots have a nice view of the terrain while others do not. Be very careful with kids and pets as there is a huge canyon not far from the park without any fence or warning signs (However you do have to stray away from the road and campsite for several hundred yards.) There is NO security at night or personnel on call. And the response time for EMS or Deputies would be quiet lengthy given the location; so keep this in mind if it is a concern for you. The staff was friendly; but with one office person and only one grounds person, seemed understaffed. No cable tv despite what the website states! They did offer in the past, but not currently. Also crappy Wi-Fi if they even had a working wi-fi. Fortunately we had LTE with ATT so just streamed videos. In short this park, like Crooked River Ranch itself, has great potential, but is sub-par when compared to most private parks. Fortunately this is reflected in the price as well as it is lower than most. However given there are no amenities, it may still feel too high for the summer months. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This area is the high desert of central Oregon with snowcapped mountains in the distance. The campground is part of a resort community and amenities at the resort like golf and pool are available to campers. The campground is located on a cliff overlooking the Crooked River and has several open green areas. The sites are different sizes so ask to ride around first and look at available sites. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The nearby city of Redmond has everything you could need. Nearby is Smith Rock State Park with lots of trails and beautiful views. Steelhead Falls is also nearby and has lots of hiking and rock climbing opportunities.

Nice park with views of the mountain. Most sites have grass. There are some pull thru. Pay showers, so did not use.

Very busy park the weekend I stayed, tents from other sites were scattered all over the grass (common area), so made it difficult to walk thru. They do have a separate tent section. Not sure why so many tenters were in the RV area.

They have a pool also, but its a bit of a walk to get to. Overall a nice park and would stay again. I should note, no fires are allowed in this park. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Older bathhouse/clean, and older office, wonderful greeting and welcome from hostess, with loads of additional information. The campground is a desert campground at the end of a long road into Crooked River Ranch. The campground is surrounded by a very good golf course. We found the campground to be a bit crowded with our back in right next to the next fellow. Crooked River Ranch is a very large desert community with 5+ acre lots so homes are few and far between and come in all styles, from large mini mansions and mobile homes to motor homes. No services to speak of on the Ranch so you should load up on groceries and fuel in Terrebonne. There is a small corner store about 1/2 mile from the campground but it is just like a gas station store. Large Walmart and Gas and other stores. Do not get this RV park mixed up with the more permanent RV park, River Rim RV park which is a passport America park and not as nice. The views are tremendous... We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice scenic park. Power/water/dump all fine. The most scenic part near the canyon rim is not open during the winter. Good ATT cellular data. Good Verizon cellular data. No camp fires. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Greeted warmly at check-in and assigned a nice pull-through site. This is a high desert park but there is quite a bit of green grass here. It's surrounded by a very nice golf course and there are some incredible views of the river gorge at the back of the property. WiFi works great! Just a few rigs here during this time of year and the nice lady in the office said that they plan to remain open year-round now. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This would be a great place to stay a few days and play some golf. I would have played but the smug attitude of the kid working in the pro shop made me feel that I was not welcome to play at "their" course.

We stayed in a 37' rv with 4 slides and had plenty of room. Fairly level gravel sites with large cement pad (covered by indoor /outdoor carpet ) for a picnic table. Shade trees but some sites are good for satellite. Gorgeous canyon, cliff and golf course views from many sites. Lots of dog walking area. Easy walk to golf or restaurant. Short drive from Smith Rock St. Park. We will return. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

It's quite a way off the beaten path but that's what makes it quiet. Sites are close but there were few campers so we had our choice and lots of space. We got power & water only and got the Good Sam discount. Good, steady WiFi. A short walk will take you to an overlook way down into the Crooked River. This is our 2nd stay here. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed in two different areas-A area and C area. They were night and day! The A site was so uneven (just gravel and dirt) we almost were unable to unhitch. No wifi and TV stations were fuzzy. When we were at the C site, we had fairly good wifi and much better TV reception. We also had grass! The site was still uneven but no comparison. Good hiking paths, dog friendly. Poorly delineated sites and roads meld together as large swaths of gravel surrounding islands of grass and trees for tent campers. RV sites are close together with no sense of privacy. Basic utilities are good; wifi was very slow and frequently interrupted. AT&T phone and data service was adequate in the area. The area was quiet except for occasional, distant train whistles. The price reflects a Good Sam discount for a back-in water and electric site. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
