Great park near beautiful Diamond Lake which offers fishing, boat and bike rentals. Nice level site, lots of trees. DirecTV worked great, Verizon cell service minimal, never could connect to wifi. Had a problem with power surges first day but once owner was aware he called an Electrition and problem was taken care of. Very close to north entrance of Crater Lake. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure and go to Crater Lake, be aware there is a lot of construction on the north side entrance and within the park itself. The parking in July was impossible.
Be sure and visit the Cinnamon Butte fire tower the views are unbelievable and the ranger who lives there is very friendly and informative. The 3 mile road up makes for a good hike or driving up the first 1 1/2 miles might be ok for cars but no motorhomes or trailers, 4 Wheel drive is best for last 1 1/2 miles for sure.

It was nice to have full hook-ups but our site was so close to the next unit, we didn't dare have a campfire for fear of setting their RV on fire. Beautiful wildflowers blooming throughout the park. We used this as a base for seeing Crater Lake, which was amazing. We also enjoyed seeing waterfalls in the Umpqua National Forest. Beautiful country. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

I can see how it would seem cramped during high season, but in early Oct it was great. Convenient to Crater Lake. Campground was closing in just a few days. Set in scattered Ponderosa pine setting. Would go back. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were placed in a very cramped section of the park -- the "C" area has miniscule sites. The "fire ring" was a hole in the ground with a few rocks around it. The park is located in a great area; right next to Diamond Lake, and close to Crater Lake NP. Staff was very helpful. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you don't need the resort's bathrooms, get a spot in the newer "W" loop; it's very spacious, but a long way from bathrooms. The "G" area is nearer the bathrooms and more spacious, as well.

This is a lovely campground, not a parking-lot-style RV park. Many choices of pull thru or back-in. Exceptionally clean bathhouse/restrm. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We came to visit Crater Lake and ride the 11 mile bike trail. A bonus was the abundance of fun bird watching. This is a treasure trove of birds if that is on your list. A nice quiet park without lots of late night noise. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very rustic "park". It was difficult to find even with navigation because of the lack of signage. The interior roads are gravel. We were promised a patio, fire pit and WiFi, but didn't get any of these amenities. Our site was a patch of dirt with hookups. There were lots of mosquitos.

There is shade provided by some beautiful trees. The restrooms and showers were above average for this type of park. It was very quiet. The laundry room was average. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

It is close enough to Crater Lake. Diamond lake is just across the main road. There is a small store with a few expensive groceries and good pizza and ice cream. Down the road is a small lake resort with two restaurants and watercraft rentals. Looks like that would be a fun place for kids.

Horrible!!! Stayed Memorial Day weekend 2014. Harassed by male manager from the time arrived. Kicked out next morning after simple misunderstanding about parking of extra vehicle that fit in site and that was paid for.

We are good people that obey rules. These folks are unreasonable and ruining a good number of travelers trips. Check out other review sites. Mngr kicked out a contractor that would have been there for an extended period because he did not like the way he got out to measure for his slides before backing in.

lovely park with showers and wifi. We were in the furthest loop from the main building and the wifi was not consistent, but workable if you kept the device to the front of the trailer.

Water, electric & sewer access located nicely for trailer placement. The site was level. Quiet park. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Dirt roads and pads, some very unlevel. One shower and bathroom for this many sites and some very tight spots made me give this a 7. Pretty area with lots of trees. Due to the drought, it was very dry and dusty when we were there. It is close to Crater Lake park, 15 miles from the campground to the lake, 3 miles to the north entrance. Wifi did not work for us that the park provided but got some signal with Verizon so my phone hot spot did work at times. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful, clean campground across the street from Diamond Lake. Best RV spot if you want to visit Crater Lake. Staff was very friendly and helpful on where to visit and what to see while at the campground. Beautiful waterfalls out Hwy 138 a short drive from the campground. We learned about this great RV Park from a camping neighbor along the way while traveling on Oregon. Really glad we stayed here. I am not giving it a ten only because it would have been nice to have some connectivity. We had absolutely no WiFi, or cell phone service even though they say they do, no satellite although our neighbor did. This RV Park is simply beautiful nestled in the pines close to Diamond Lake. We were close to Crater Lake where we spent the day hiking .When we arrived the attendant accompanies you to your site and was extremely friendly. If you must use your cell phone or internet all you have to do is drive out of the park and up on the highway and you can connect. Sites have a fire pit and table. Would stay here again. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The friendly staff at this park guides you in parking amid their many trees. Roads are paved; sites are gravel with concrete patios and towering trees crowded alongside. Basic utilities were good, wifi was very slow, a weak off-network AT&T phone signal could only be reached with a roof-mounted antenna; satellite TV reception was unexpected but good due to lucky site assignment. The office had books and DVDs available. Bathrooms were very clean. We would stay here again. The rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Diamond Lake RV park is a beautiful location for any length getaway. The sites are well-maintained and most are on dirt or gravel. There are no concrete pads to park on but a number of the sites offer a concrete patio, and each site offers a picnic table and fire ring. Big rig sites are easily accessible with solid 50 amp. Although the park "offers" Wi-Fi, don't count on the service being fast enough to load any Internet page. The entire park is clean and there are many trail heads that spur from the park itself and offer excellent off leash opportunities for the dogs. The owners of the park are often on site and are just as friendly as the park managers. Even on a holiday weekend, the park is a peaceful and enjoyable place to be. Just walk across the street to the pizzeria and ice cream or launch your boat for fishing or kayaking opportunities. An excellent hub to Crater Lake, we look forward to visiting this park each year. This park is in a beautiful setting. It is near the Crater Lake National Park. The spaces are gravel with concrete pads for tables, etc. Some of the pads are at odd angles. We could not get on the wifi. When ask about wifi the staff including a woman who claimed to be the manager, only made excuses. Since we depend heavily on internet service, we decided to leave a night early. The manager refused to refund that night's rent. We will not go back to this park. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very rustic RV park located in a National Forest. Sites are scattered among pine trees, but the trees are trimmed well enough to not be a problem for big rigs. The bathhouses and showers are modern and spotless. The park may be a bit difficult to find. There's only one sign (at the entrance), Magellan GPS doesn't know that Diamond Lake exists, and the sign for their road, Diamond Lake Loop, is easy to miss. This may be the quietest campground we've been in, and it is convenient for exploring Crater Lake National Park and the forests and mountains in the area. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
