Managment is totally service-oriented. Entire park is concrete, except for landscape at each site. Maintenance is flawless ( I even saw them vacuum leaves from sidewalk cracks). Internet is good. Cable TV is analog, but good. There are many full-timers, but you'd never know it...no junk around units. Park is centrally located to tourism and shopping. Security code is required for entry. We are most impressed! We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Spent Summer (July/Aug/Sep) 2016 here. Concrete pads were level with well maintained vegetation separating the sites. Limited overflow parking. The access roads can get crowded with everyone parking in front of their 5ers, but the long-term residents are friendly and more than willing to move if you need to get in/out. Restrooms are small but clean and well kept. Good selection of cable channels. Friendly and accommodating staff. Picnic tables are not kept at the sites, but are free and delivered upon request. Monthly rate was $750+elec and I thought it was worth it. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

No frills, perfect park. All concrete with rock, shrubs and trees in between sites. Fairly close together but very easy in and out. Very clean. Decent Wifi early in the day. I would stay for longer if in the area again. If you want a secure, clean park for exploring the area, you can't beat this one. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

This is our third stay here. By far, the nicest park in Florence. Service is great, hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Good size dog area with pea gravel.

Everything worked great. WIFI was excellent. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Florence is a quaint little historic town. Old town has many shops and excellent restaurants. The "dunes" are not far.

Fred Meyer is about a half block from the park.

We stayed over the 4th holiday. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As mentioned in earlier review this is a concrete Mecca. Easy access and parking we had a backin. The showers and lounge were very clean and well maintained. Evenings are quiet. Nice dog run that is enclosed. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Travel Trailer.

Easy in and out. Utilities in the center of the site and worked fine. Cable TV was not high definition, so we used our antenna, instead, along with our satellite TV. WIFI was fine most of the time, but every couple of days would just knock us off the Internet. We would disconnect and reconnect and would be fine again for another couple of days. They have picnic tables, but they are not at the sites. In this site there was no room for one because of the shrubbery, but apparently you can request one to be put on your site. Rate shown was for our 6 week stay. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Old town shopping and restaurants. Spice Bistro is the best place in town. Sunset at the restaurant/bar at Driftwood Inn on Heceta Beach. Nice river view from the Best Western hotel. Day trips to North Bend/Coos bay, Reedsport and the elk reserve on Hwy 38, Yachats, Cape Perpetua.

Very quiet and clean, decent spacing (but close as I'd want to be), laid out to maximize privacy (given it is fairly tight). Plenty of room for slideouts and even awnings (except with the wind, no one used theirs). Level concrete pads, concrete roads. Some trees between sites. Helpful staff guides you to site.
Very windy every afternoon (20+mph). Excellent utilities in pullthrus. Three washers and dryers in rec room, pool table, recliners, restrooms. Some sites had picnic tables.
Slow Verizon data (1 bar 4G), decent AT&T cellular phone and data.
Lots of rules, most of which are common sense. Fenced dog run (small, gravel) with sign saying cctv monitored and failure to pick up after dogs will result in immediate expulsion from park and other parks will be contacted about you as well.
We could park our Jeep across the front of the site, most 5th wheels parked trucks around the park perimeter.
A good number of seasonal and long-term rigs, all well-maintained. Looks like the short-term spaces are pull-thrus in the middle of the park.
A very nice park, we would return. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Convenient to downtown and shopping, large Fred Meyer less than a mile away, Safeway about 2 miles. Lots of good restaurants downtown (Waterfront Depot, Edgewaters, Maple Street), but many need advance reservations several days ahead (and 45 minute wait for lunch at 1:45pm at Edgewaters!).

We were at first taken back by the "parking lot " appearance of the park. (All concrete with small trees between the sites.) But that was quickly gone after going into the office and being warmly greeted by the lady manager! A lovely woman who made us feel welcome, explained the park, showed us around the rec room, and gave us some good info on the surrounding area. The park is tightly spaced, but maneuverable. Convenient to shopping and Old Towne. We were here for only 2 nights, but would definitely recommend this park to anyone traveling through the area. Rate is for weekly stay, buy 6 nights get the 7th free, Good Sam rate. FHU, 50amp, pull-in site, Wifi, Cable included. WIFI worked well most of the time. All sites are paved. Park is very clean and well maintained, gated as is the rec. room and laundry. Convenient to all this area has to offer and that is quite a bit. Staff is excellent as is the owner who both went out of their way to accommodate us for a week as the park is entirely full this time of year. Parking is a bit tight especially for those with trailers or 5th wheels where their trucks would have to park along the perimeter fence. Highly recommend this park. Would not recommend extending a big awning during the day here since the wind reached 20 to 25 miles per hour every afternoon since we've been here. Tips for other Campers:

There are many area to visit along the Oregon Coast in this area and Florence is a good place to use as home base. This area was mainly in the low 70s during the day and high 50s at night while all inland areas were in the mid to high 90s so it is very comfortable this time of year for sightseeing in the area. Great restaurants in Old Towne down the road. Fred Meyers grocery less than a mile north.

Cement all around so do not have to get muddy when hooking and unhooking. A bit of a mix up when we checked in. There were 2 of us in separate rigs and they had us spread out through the park and we had specifically requested to be parked together and they said no problem. However when we arrived that was not the case but they fixed it and we ended up parked next to each other as requested. We liked it well enough to make reservations again for this coming July. We hope it goes better this time. I will call again just to make sure. The owner was very nice and assured us that would happen. Small dog area but perfectly adequate. Close to town as we have a car so no issue. Good Wi-Fi, Verizon worked well there. We will definitely come back. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

We picked this spot for an overnight as the weather called for rain, rain and more rain. It is all concrete, asphalt and rock. No soft surfaces to get mired in or mud to track into the trailer here! The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and informative. The sites are close together, asphalt with gravel and shrubbery in between each. Our pad was perfectly level - great for easy packing up in the rain. The restrooms/showers were recently remodeled and were very nice. Despite being close to the road, it was extremely quiet at night...and there is NOT a lot of lighting to shine in the windows and keep you awake. There is coffee in the a.m. in the rec room. The wifi was spectacular, despite the full park. We were able to stream a movie. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Travel Trailer.

RV Pad- tall yard hydrant with pull handle, looks freeze-proof.

First utility water hydrant, then electric, then sewer -flush to ground concrete. All about mid site.

RV Park has quiet neighbors. A church on one side behind a tall wooden fence. A storage unit on the west side.

Bathrooms- open 24/7 with security code. Recreation room and laundry are all in the same access door.

Bathroom- toilet seat covers provided. Shower hoses with deluxe muti-spray shower heads and shutoff switch on head.

Garbage dump on exiting park to keep odors out of park.

Recycling center.

Picnic tables available on request.

Nice neighborhood east of the park for walking or bicycle to Grocery Outlet. Spruce Street continues to south end of town, allowing town access off highway.

Local bus stop in front of park. The next 2 bus stops are BiMart and Fred Meyers.

Road in front of park has some grass for dog walking.

Mature rhododendron shrubs.

No grass, no mower noise. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Travel Trailer.

We spent three days at this park in a 37 ft coach. friendly and helpful as about places to see. Park has level concrete pads and surface good room for slides which we have three. Three washers which are $2.00 and three dryers which is $1.50. only negative was the lack of grass for pets to use. Pet walk area is pea gravel which makes it tough to navigate on. Would stay again when and if we return. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

I agree with the other reviews. Wifi and cable are excellent. Camping on clean concrete with shrubs between sites. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Good central location in Florence. You can wash your windshield but not your rig. Only 3 washers and 3 dryers but they worked well. $2 to wash and $1.50 to dry. We would stay here again if we couldn't get into Honeyman SP.
