Stayed here in our 40' MH with tow. Probably the best park to stay in Florence area as it is close to the town. Were concerned we might have road noise since it is on Hwy 101 but not the case. Sites are a bit small and everyone has to park their tow partially in the street but managers said that was OK. Last night we had a power problem and our surge protector indicated the park pole was running hot. Called and someone came over at 8:00 pm to see what was happening. We had to use a converter plug and switch to 30 amp. Managers are very helpful and friendly - gave a tour of the facilities and escort to site. Would stay here again when in this area. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

No extra facilities here but they have everything you need. Good showers and laundry, club room and book exchange. Mostly concrete with landscaping between sites. No dragging dirt into the RV. The park is visually appealing. Wifi works best near the office. Verizon worked well. Wide driving spaces makes it easy to maneuver unless someone parks in roadway. Sites are a little short for big rigs but there is extra parking for toad or towing vehicle. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Old town Florence is nice with several good restaurants and shops. Drive out to both the north and south jetties. Sand dunes south of town.

Overall Rating:

This is a clean orderly RV park, all concrete with very nice landscaping that gives a feeling of privacy. Park is very quiet. Front office staff are wonderful. Quite a few full timers here, but the RVs are new and no indication of long term detritus around. Good hookups. Beautiful big landscaping between sites gave a sense of privacy but did not interfere with slides. Really nice fenced in dog park. Excellent TV and WIFI. Code required to enter the park so good security. Laundry has huge washers and dryers. Wash $2.00 and dry $1.25. Nice fenced pet park. There is no picnic table which I miss. We will definitely return here. Felt like we were in a ghost town. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice breakfast at Fresh Harvest Cafe. Cafe has a nice patio On 101 south of Florence, there were berry stands all along the way. We stopped for awesome pizza and pastries at Pastries & Pizza in Bandon, Oregon. Amazing.

We really enjoyed this park. Rate paid based on monthly fee. Very quiet and low key. Lots of concrete but surprisingly felt good (in contrast with shrubs and greenery in town). You are in a world of your own and it just feels good. We were booked for a month but had to leave early because of a family emergency. Owners were very nice and refunded part of our prepaid fee. We would recommend his park for our retired friends. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Old town Florence is cool. They have a Mo's restaurant and lots of cool shops. Try a sand dune tour ride and don't miss a drive up the coast to Newport and Depoe Bay. You will drive right by Sea Lion Caves.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not miss a tour of Oldtown downtown Florence. Most of the newer businesses are located on Hwy 101 that passes thru the town limits. Oldtown is situated on the harbourfront and consists of many small shops and businesses along with coffee bistros and restaurants. We observed some of the nicest quality handicrafts and art seen on scenic Hwy 101.

I have stayed at this great park a number of times. And it never disappoints. I was here for the Florence Rhododendron Festival. It was a blast. I especially like the fact that the park is only a short distance to the local Fred Meyer big box store. And is convenient to the shops and restaurants in 'Old Town'. This is a nice little park for the area with landscaping. If you have pets, be aware there is NO grass and a very small dog run. The park staff was super nice. Even though we had a pull thru, it would not accommodate our tow but the staff had a very convenient place for tow. The roads are tight if you have a 45' rig, but doable. Loved Sea lion caves $$ but it's a hike. Sea lions can really only be seen with binoculars. Better view is in downtown Newport if your travels take you there.

We stayed 3 nights for to see some attractions in the area. The park is a short drive from US 101 (42nd St) along a city street. It is located in town close to services. The interior roads are concrete. They are narrow with parked vehicle encroachment & tight turns making maneuvering larger RV's a little challenging. There is a mixture of back-ins & P/T's sites. Didn't see any of P/T sites that were long enough to stay connected to a toad. The RV sites are narrow & there isn't much distance between the sites but there was sufficient room to open slides. The parking pads are concrete. This park seems to understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites were generally level and flat. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. The sewer connection was above ground making it difficult to establish a downhill flow depending on discharge point. Our site was too narrow to have an outside table. A line of vegetation established privacy between the sites but the vegetation encroached on site width. Site orientation allowed RV's to cast shade onto the patio side. There were quite a few trees scattered throughout the park and around the perimeter so satellite reception would be dependent upon your site and dish configuration. The park brochure listed 60 cable channels but made no mention of broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any OTA channels. The park provided WiFi was password protected with adequate reception. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about cell phone reception. The designated fenced pet area was small with a gravel surface. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste at the pet area. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads & the adjacent residential streets.Make reservations as it is a small park We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Nice little old downtown area with shops and restaurants. North of RV park is a Glass Blower with reasonable prices. On left side of road if you are going north. Heceta Lighthouse also north of park.

Have been "full time RVing" for 13 years. This is one of our favorite parks we have stayed in. The Park is not just clean, it is IMMACULATE. The showers are like being in a 5 star hotel (seriously). The staff and owner are outstanding and will make your stay one of warmth and comfort. Be sure to call ahead....because they get busy due to their reputation. They also have an excellent dog run and is nice and quiet. You won't be dissapointed!! We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do in area from riding the dunes on four wheeler or horse back to hunting agates on nearby beaches (found many beautiful gem quality stones). Shopping and restaurants nearby. Whales watching was great up and down the coast. A trip to Sweet Creek Falls Trail head is highly recommended. It just doesn't get any better than this trail. Overall great stay.
