Nothing beautiful about this Park, but as has been noted, it has location. There are two parts to this Park. One is a loop with trees and some grass. Looks like they were occupied mostly by monthly renters. The other area are spaces surrounding some boat storage sheds, with some on the water. (Check the map on the Park web site, and Google Maps satellite view.) Most of these spaces have a lot of room to maneuver when backing in. The ones in the loop appear rather tight. All hookups are at the rear of the pad, and can require long sewer, power, water, and cable TV runs. Bring extensions for each. Verizon, and AT&T cell service is good. 62 cable TV channels. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a good time staying here because of the near location of the old town / harbor feel of the area. Restaurants and stores were within an easy 5 min walking distance to the RV Park. If you're into fishing and crabbing this is definitely the place to go. Would stay here again. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Reservation practices are very unfair. December Members reserve 2 years ahead for the whole summer. General public can only reserve 9 months ahead leaving us with the poorest sites and no possibility of a marina slip. I will no longer use this facility. Used to be great for years and now not worth the drive. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

I arrived at the park and the camp hosts greeted me with a warm welcome and helped us with things I did not understand. 1st time RV trip in my new Motorhome where we had been given some wrong components. The host was super helpful and made our stay very comfortable. His wife also got us set up on the site with all the information we needed. We will be back! Thank you so much for making our stay pleasant and going the extra mile! We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.

Stayed two nights. Old and cramped sites. All dirt except roads. Lots of seasonal campers there for the fishing. All back ins, mine was difficult. Within walking distance of "Old Town" which was nice. Ok for traveling through for one or two nights. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Lower value rating due to $10 reservation fee. I really hate places like this, they have a full time person on duty during the days and they think they can charge extra for making a reservation. On a short stay, that really gets felt in the nightly rate of $31 for a back in site.

Most sites are fairly level and are hard packed gravel / stone surface. We had a 50 amp FHU with cable. The cable lineup was good, but the picture quality was borderline. The wi-fi was so so, we were getting dropped or not able to get on at all most of the time.

For what they charge, the cable and wi-fi should both be outstanding. But they are both less than acceptable. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.

Stayed over 4th of July for 3 days. This park does Nothing to maintain the place: dirt, gravel, weeds with stickers. The restrooms are pretty iffy at best,t due to local transients hanging around.

Location is good next to Oldtown, but for the price it's poor. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

This was our first visit (April) and after checking in and parking we felt like this was more of a State RV Park. Not many amenities other than easy walking distance to "Old Town. We did stay in site B2, which backs up to our site, so the view from the "B" sites are great. But it is also a Marina so in the summer it may be more of a fishing RV park! Unless you are on the waterfront sites there is no view of the river, other than seeing their big powder blue storage sheds. Not all site locations have full hookups. Gravel roads and site, ours was very level. The staff is very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The location was easy to get to. Since we were here in the Spring, we enjoyed the spacing of other travelers, but from other comments, sounds like the Summer months can be very cramped with lots of people. So we do plan to return this way again, but most likely would choose Spring or Fall. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

A very pleasant and level walk to "Old Town" which had lots of Food and Gift shops to visit. Since we were here in early April a few were closed on the days we were here. But it was still fun to check out the ones that were open.

The sites are right on top of each other. For example, our sewage hose was in the middle of the next site. This is a fish camp period. We will never go back to this RV park. Only restrooms are by the office a long ways away from most sites, unless you want to use a portable toilet. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.

This park has the potential of being a great one due to the location, but gravel, dust, dry grass and ugly storage sheds make the park less than spectacular. It's OK to stay in the treed section with hookups and is convenient to town via a short walk. The port spends zero dollars on this park and it shows. Could use some TLC. Okay park. Used to have great WiFi, but it has gone down hill. Cable wasn't working the winter we were there, nor that spring when we came back for couple days. Bathrooms/showers are used by vagrants and often filthy and toxic. Area in general is a bit dirty and run down. Spent one winter here and saw two beatings and one guy walking around with his rifle, aiming at things but not shooting. He was arrested.

Service is okay, people are generally nice. Dogs aren't kept on leashes. Sites are rather cramped. There are nasty stickers in the grass, so don't go barefoot and watch your animal's paws.

It is located downtown and easy walking distance to old town. Don't think we'll return again. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this campground! And not fancy. And like the small community of Florence. Lots of waterfront restaurants within a short walk of the campground. Several sites with back ins right up to the waterfront. Great WiFi and cable TV. Adequate space between sites. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Parts of this park were nice and other parts were OK. We parked in the OK area, gravel in open spaces. There were some on the river and others in the treed area. Where we were was a little dusty. Lady running the office was nice and friendly. This is right by the marina and walking distance to town. The park was full and luckily we made reservations earlier in the day. It is an OK place to stay for overnight. We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.

This is NOT an RV park. It's a fishing camp! Unless you are on the waterfront sites there is not only no view, but for almost half the sites you have a view of their big powder blue storage sheds. The waterfront sites are never available as the same people get them year after year and stay for the whole summer. So forget that idea. The area with shade trees are not full hookup sites. The place is dirt, gravel, dried grass, and only once in two weeks did I see anyone picking up bits of litter and cigarette buts. The staff is very nice and the location is terrific. It's nice to walk into town. There aren't any rules so the place is a mass of trailers, boats, tents, and canvas porches the long-termers set up. We won't stay here again. When you're in such a magnificent place as the Oregon coast why look at a shed? We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one weeknight in early August. We had a full hook up, back-in site with 60 channel cable TV and WI-FI that worked well for us at the site. I believe all hookup sites have cable TV, but I don't know if the WI-FI reaches all the sites. Our site needed some leveling and it appeared that many sites were not completely flat and/or level. The sites were mostly gravel and close to each other. You are not going to get a long, wide, private site in this park. There are 34 full hook ups, back-in sites in the trees with 20/30/50 amp service. There are another 25 full hook ups sites in the open which would be good for satellite service. There are an additional 20+ water/electric sites with either 20 or 30 amp service in the trees. On the river, there are 12 "premium" full hook ups, back-in sites and 13 dry camping sites. As others have noted, the better sites are hard to get in season. All the hookup sites were taken the night we were here. It appears that most sites are taken for weeks or months in the season. The bathrooms and showers get a lot of traffic and a barely adequate. The on site laundry is OK. It is a short walk (you walk by the fishing boast docks) to the "old town" of Florence. Yes, it is mostly restaurants, bars, and gift shops, but there is some history to be had if you pay attention to the plaques on some of the buildings along the walkways. We were happy with the site we had in the park and enjoyed a couple hours of walking around the harbor and "old town". We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.
