Overall Rating:

Our site #48 was plenty long enough for our 41 foot motorhome and room to park the Jeep. They have great landscaping for privacy and sites were level. Being that they are adjacent to the Dunes and how many atvs were at the park I was surprised how quiet the resort was. They have lake access although we didn't use it. Our only issues were the NO cell service on AT&T or Verizon, the park WiFi didn't work and their fenced dog area needs some major TLC. Otherwise we were really happy with this resort. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park has something for everyone. There are sites on one side of the park for quad enthusiasts and very quiet sites on the other side. The gravel sites are bordered by tall hedges and are exceptionally wide for a private park. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We stay for at least a week every summer and have never been disappointed. The park also owns a boat dock on the lake side of Highway 101 (a very short walk from the park. I highly recommend this park! We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

About 6 miles from the Three Rivers Casino. Great antique shopping in Florence. Also, if you need to have your hair done, visit Sandy at the Hair Works Company at the South end of Florence.

This is a family owned park with on-site and active management. The park is located adjacent to the sand dunes and attracts a lot of RVs with sand vehicles. The management actively monitors all sand vehicles at the facility, they even have a decibel meter to solve any disagreements. Hats off to all of those who had vehicles while we were there (4 nights), not once did anyone disturb the other campers. A group of the owners of the sand vehicles told us that it is well known within the community that this park assures that all guests are comfortable. We had to change our reservations and there were no issues, no extra charges. For those of you who are "last minute," management posts empty sites on the office door every night; you settle up in the morning. The park is well laid out and they put those interested in the dunes on one side of the park. The park is very quiet, even though it is located right off the highway. With all the vegetation, we barely heard any car noise. Management keeps the park and facilities well maintained. Everything is clean and well maintained. When we arrived we notice the cable TV cable end was missing (looks like a fresh tear). When I told management they were willing to come out right then to fix it. Laundry room, bathrooms are kept very clean. Internet is strong. Campsites are well maintained and comfortable. There is private access to the lake, across the street, and a game room for the kids. We would happily return. We also met a local couple who told us they stayed at the park for a year while they were building their house and it is the best park in the area. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Drive to Sweet Creek Falls, about 25 miles away for a great 3 mile walk. 11 waterfalls, places to swim, and an easy moderate walk. See the Elk at Dean Creek Elk viewing area on highway 38, about a 15 minute drive from the park. We signed up for the 1/2 sand dune fun tour and it was worth it. Spent time along the coast, visited the lighthouses and took some of the local walks in the parks. Florence has both shopping and tourist sites. Old town has some good restaurants.

An old park with plenty of privacy, hedges between most sites. A scattering of trees add to beauty. An asphalt walkway gives you access to dunes and the Pacific coast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Locally owned and operated, we prefer the "mom and pop" places such as this. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to all! We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground is across the street from a lake, but the main attraction are the sand dunes behind it. Many sites have dune buggies, both permanent and weekenders. They are quiet and polite. This spot in Florence OR is perfect to ride the dunes or go sightseeing on the coast. The sites are close but there is lots foliage to separate them. Wifi was okay, dog walk was close to our spot. We will point out that the winds increase as the day goes on and of course the sands from the dunes will end up on some of your equipment. Still a great place to stay. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The only problem with this park is the phone service, ATT as nearly non-existent. Other than that this is an adorable park. There is lots of privacy in the sites and plenty of room for a tow vehicle. At the rear of the park is access to the Dunes, climb to the top and you have a 360 degree view including the ocean and Lake Woahink. The owners a quite friendly and accommodating. A very nice park, clean everything. WIFI worked great. I was kind of worried about the dune buggies, everyone drove at the park speed limit. Hedge between sites gave nice sense of privacy. Make sure you walk around the park and see all the classic cars. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is truly a mom and pop park. They were very friendly and helpful. The park is at the base of the dunes, no riding around in the park with ATV's but you can ride from your site to the dunes. This is an older park, but all of the paint in the restrooms was fresh and clean. There is a rec room with video machines and a pool table, all well maintained. The park has noise from the ATV's being started and then brought back in, but it was not noisy. Very quiet at night. There are tall hedges between sites. This park is all well maintained. We will stay here anytime. Also, check out the lake across the highway, if it wasn't for the dunes, this lake would make this the reason to come here. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I stayed for 2 nights. Found the showers "clean". Plenty of hot water.

Site was gravel, level, easy access to utilities. Pull-through.

Being next to highway I was concerned about noise but it was actually pretty quiet. Didn't notice any store available but down the road is gas and stores. The grounds themselves were clean and orderly.

The cable hookup was limited but worked good. Looking forward to coming back again. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Three Rivers Casino is located in Florence good entertainment and food.

Florence has a considerable amount of very good restaurants and I mean very good! In my favorites 1. Bridgewater Restaurant 2. Resto Bar 3. Water Front Depot in that order. They are within 100 feet of each other as well. Florence is a very nice town to spend some time in. Take a few days.

I just don't get the average 8.7 rating. It's a average or better park, but nothing to get excited about. It's a well maintained, older park with asphalt roads and gravel sites. Our spot was dead level. Laurel shrubs planted as privacy hedges separate the sites. Although the sites are adequately sized and spaced, we thought it felt crowded. We stayed during a weekend. Although the place was loaded with dune buggies and quads, it was surprisingly quiet. The restroom and shower were spotless with plenty of hot water. Wifi was slow. Cell coverage (T-mobile) was non-existent. There are no real amenities. The galvanized pipes gave the drinking water a metallic taste. Our dogs did enjoy romping on the dunes immediately behind the park. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
