Stayed here for 4 nights. Saw deer, 2 flocks of turkeys and 2 tame goats wandering the grounds. Beautiful grounds and clean restrooms. Easy to level motorhome and cool days with chilly nights. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Nice "country" store. Walk down to the lower tier sites and sit by the creek and waterfall.

This is now called Grant Falls KOA and is A charming "hidden gem." The campground was once known as "Jumpoff Joe Creek RV Park, but was transitioned to a KOA a few months ago (2016). The roads are gravel, but wide. The sites are also gravel and relatively flat. Shade trees, flowers, a fenced pet walk area. WiFi is not great (rarely is at campgrounds), but the best thing is that a small waterfall called "Jump Off Joe Waterfall" is a short walk on the property. It also has a great, but freezing, natural swimming hole. We are sitting on moss-covered rocks enjoying the tranquility and reflecting. Nice, quiet park. Would stay here again. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This is now a KOA. Easy to get to off I-5. Lots of room to move around as we have a 40' 5th wheel. An older park but kept clean. We stayed one night on our way back from Palm Springs to BC. Would stay here again on a stopover. Lot spacing was nearby with some shade. Site surface was gravel. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate based on monthly stay. Beautiful, rural setting yet only a mile off of hwy 5. About 20 min drive into GP, closer to small town of Merlin. Fabulous staff, very clean park. Two sections-on top nearer the camp store, and bottom nearer the creek. Although easier to maneuver a big rig on top section, we did see some big rigs opt for the bottom section. Good wifi, no cable tv. Some sites offer a nice deck. Two staircased trails down to creek, very full and rushing waterfall during our stay. Nature trails make for a nice walk with the dogs. Very pet friendly with 2 resident goats. Park is recently added to the KOA family accounting for the high price. Nice camp store with book exchange and dvd rentals. Would stay again. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Merlin is the closest town, we enjoyed bargain hunting at the thrift stores and trading post. By far the best is Merlin Bargain Center-if they don't have it, it probably hasn't been invented yet. Grants Pass is a beautiful town on the Rogue River with a National Historic downtown (walk the antique, thrift, and gift shops along 6th and 7th), and the weekly grower's market each Saturday. Quaint Grants Pass Pharmacy features an old time soda fountain where they mix their own phosphates.

Very clean staff very helpful. Overnight easy in and out. Hook ups good. Wi-Fi ok. It's a shame the drought has made the waterfall a trickle and the swimming hole is very low. A little water and this place would be jumping. Again the staff is very helpful and friendly. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is very rustic. Each site is gravel and there are no patios. If you like rustic, then you will like this park. There is a big fenced in dog area which is nice. You can walk to a waterfall, but with all the dry weather there is no waterfall now, but I can imagine it would be very pretty. And because of the drought everything is very dry. The WiFi was better than usual. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This is a very rustic park with no frills. We stayed in August and the whole NW was in a big drought. The waterfall had no water and everything was all dried out. Probably would have looked much better had there not been the drought. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

What a great little park...!!! Heading north on I-5 we decided to try this park due to the excellent reviews it has been given by others. We arrived late in the afternoon and had made a reservation due to the limited number of overnight spaces available, usually only 6 to 8. We were met by a very friendly and helpful staff and the owner personally escorted us to our site. Very clean and well kept grounds and surrounding areas and the space itself was clean, easy to get in and out of and all hookups worked great. There is a well stocked general store where you check in. The park itself is about a 1/3rd of a mile off of the interstate so there is no traffic noise to be heard. Just silence and a good night's rest after a long day of driving. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area and need to toss out the anchor for the night. I can understand why some folks stay for extended periods as it is like RVing right out in nature itself. This park was named for the waterfall that is adjacent to it. We didn't have time to go see it but will for sure next time we are there.

We really liked it here but we prefer parks that aren't concrete, perfectly manicured, and sterile. It was out in the country with nice trees, very clean, gravel spots, great WiFi and a really nice little country store with good prices. The gals at the store were super nice and full of info on things to do. There were several permanent residents but their sites were very clean. There seemed to be only about a half dozen sites for daily rental so call ahead. I would definite stay here again as a stop-over or as a monthly. The most friendly owner/staff we have encountered in an RV park in 6 months. We extended our stay a couple days to enjoy the Rogue River. Location made it an easy pick. Pull-through sites for overnighters. Ours was spacious and private, easy to maneuver. Lots of natural space, great fenced off-leash dog park. Gravel throughout, but not a lot of dust. Our site was nearly level. Several permanents but they were very well cared for, and friendly. Very well stocked store as it also serves the surrounding community. The only real amenity is the creek and waterfall but because of the drought, there is no water. So, for the price it is a good choice. We would stay here again. Great park! Less than a mile from the freeway but no noticeable traffic noise inside our trailer. Very dog friendly. Gorgeous river area. The general store in the campground has an excellent supply of foodstuffs and other goods at fair prices. Friendly staff. The free Wifi worked very well. The only negative are the coin operated showers, which should be free for 27 bucks, which is the Good Sam discounted price. We would stay here again. Not the place we had planned to stay, but we would stay here again. The only down-side is that the showers are coin operated, well, that and no cable TV. The facility is generally clean and well maintained, the dog-park is top notch. The store and office is open about 12 hours a day. It is far enough off I-5 to be very quite, but still close for good easy access. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a basic campground with basic facilities. Bathrooms were very clean. No cable - could only receive two TV channels over the air. Staff was friendly and helpful. No road noise. Site semi-level. Wi-Fi very slow. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is located in open chaparral woodland about 7 miles north of Grants Pass. It is a natural setting with interesting trees, rocks, birds and little lizards running around. Deer frequent the area during the evening hours. The "waterfalls" are a cascade feature along the creek, located at the bottom of a ravine. It is a bit hard to get to, but could serve as a swimming hole for teens to cool off on hot summer days. Facilities are minimal, with no pool or playground for kids, so I would not call this a "resort". Bathrooms are kept somewhat clean, however there were spiders, and the shower was coin-operated, which is an insult to campers who expect the cost of a shower to be included in the camp fee. The WiFi worked well from our campsite. The trees don't provide a lot of shade at some of the sites, and it can get hot during the summer months. This campground is fine for an overnight stay while traveling from A to B. The owner was nice and we enjoyed the view from the porch at the general store. We camped at Grants Pass Oregon KOA (formerly Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Resort) in a Tent Trailer.

Close to I-5 for a overnight stay, yet far enough that you don’t hear much road noise. Very nice park with some permanent residents that you wouldn't even notice. Nice fenced dog run. Extremely clean restrooms and showers. Nice level gravel spaces. Over the air TV, but too many trees for satellite in our site. Turkeys walking through in morning. Cute store with lots of goodies. Joe Creek Falls in the park. We stayed here two nights and will defiantly come back again. Very helpful staff and owners.
