We've stayed at this park numerous times over the years. Though the "resort" in the name is a little over-the-top, since there are no resort-like features. It is, however, a nicely cared for park. There are a few long-term tenants, but most spaces are held by short term visitors. Both long and short term spaces are kept clean and neat. Having failed to reach anyone via phone, I chose to place my reservation on the Internet ... and when I arrived at 4:05 PM on the day was surprised to find the office closed. (Hours are 9-4.) However, there was a printed sign on the door with my last name and assigned space. I picked up a form and envelope to pay my bill (no money was taken online) as we expected to be back on the road before the office opened in the morning. Since my Class B RV is only 22 feet, it was too bad we were assigned a 70' pull through (when I could easily have used a smaller space). This park generally fills up every night. It IS right next to the freeway (be prepared for the noise, but summer time AC requirements tend to cover the highway noise). The park is just off I-5 at exit 58, which leads into the center of the "old town" area. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try Black Bear Diner (a couple blocks down the hill on NE 6th St.) for a hearty breakfast. (Exit Jack's landing, turn right on one-way NE 7th st, immediately get in left lane and turn Left on NE Morgan Lane, then left onto NW 6th St. Black Bear Diner is on the right just past the Travelodge. (Those more physically fit than I, might find it a pleasant walk.)

Great park for us and our space was pleasantly shaded. Wifi and cable worked fine. Grounds were well kept. Space was long enough for our 37' motorhome and tow car to remain hooked up. All roads were asphalt and pads were concrete. Road noise from highway was apparent, but did not disturb us at all. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with lots of trees and shrubs. Well-maintained. Everything clean as a whistle. Owner/manager friendly and efficient. It is, however, RIGHT next to the freeway, so it isn't quiet. Screened with trees, but you can see the flash of vehicles speeding along. We used our fantastic fan to block out some of the traffic noise. On the other hand, it couldn't be easier to get on and off the freeway from here! Several restaurants within walking distance, or Dominos delivers. Worked for us! We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I would rate this park a 10 except for the Interstate noise. We had reservations at another park in town but had a faulty ground pedestal which caused us to leave. I called Jack's and the man on the phone and check in was fantastic. Very accommodating, showed us 3 sites to choose from. Very nice long concrete pull thru, easy to maneuver with us being 45 ft. with a tow. Very clean park, only negative is the freeway noise but that is not their fault. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all big rigs needing a nightly stop. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park with lots of trees and bushes. It is close to the hwy, but noise isn't too bad. Lots of places to eat nearby. Easy on & off freeway to go shopping etc. Walmart and grocery stores not too far away. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is well-kept basic park with few amenities. I wouldn't call it a "Resort" since there are no amenities other than laundry and restrooms. "RV Park" would be a better naming choice. The park is very well maintained. We've stayed at about 40 parks in the past 2 years, and this may be best landscaped and maintained park we've been too. Very clean, tidy, easy to navigate. There is a lot of road noise, if that sort of thing bothers you (it doesn't bother us). We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very clean nice park and they can handle big rigs without difficulty. Nice cement pads and helpful management, however their hours are rather short. The wifi seemed a bit spotty and it is a bit noisy as it is right next to the freeway, but that also makes it very convenient. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 4 days because it was such a central location. Day trips to the Redwood Forest, coastal towns and Crater Lake. Nice, clean campground. Concrete pads, 50 amp, Cable, and a wi fi that worked! Only used the laundry which had nice washers and dryers, very clean. Some noise from I-5 but by the end of the day we were so tired it didn't bother us at all. We camped here in a 40' motorhome with tow. Hook ups are conveniently located and site was long enough for coach and truck. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I've lost count of the number of times we've stayed here. It's a convenient middle of trip spot for a frequent route we take. The park is clean, with nice paved roads, concrete pads, lawns and attractive landscaping, picnic tables at most sites. The downside is that it is right next to I-5. Too bad that there's no sound wall or solid fence to moderate the noise. However, for summer-time the noise of the AC covers the traffic noise sufficiently that we get a good night's sleep. Restroom and showers are kept clean. The staff is pleasant and will offer helpful suggestions for dining within walking distance. (Office hours are a bit short, but late check in is handled with notes on the door for those with reservations and a list of vacant spots for non-reserved arrivals.) I expect to stay here again in the future. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park: would stay here again. Was a bit noisy as is right up next to Interstate but clean, nice level sites, good customer service. We stayed here to go to Crater Lake. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park! We've stayed here several times, and even though there is some freeway noise, it never bothered us at all. Sites are paved, grass is trimmed, shade trees are between sites, and there's lots of room. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean and well maintained restrooms and showers. Very clean park with concrete pads, asphalt roads, and grass between spaces. Easy access for big rigs (used to have one) and the back in spaces for smaller RVs were easy to get into. Walking distance to a couple of decent restaurants and several fast food joints. Freeway noise can be annoying, especially if you have open windows and vents. Some spaces "back up" to the freeway fence. Pleasant and helpful staff. Rate reflects discount. We'd stay here again as we've stayed here many times when passing trough. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had no trouble with the staff. Enjoyed the use of the small but efficient gym. The traffic noise will drive you crazy unless you can take out your hearing aids or wear an IPOD to bed which is what I did. It was very convenient to where we needed to be so we liked that part. It's a little difficult to negotiate the one way street with the BIG rigs but we really liked Grants Pass, and the park worked for us. We stayed here for a week. Nice RV park right on the 101. Can be noisy but didn't bother us. Level spots with nice paved area with a picnic table. Office is closed from noon to 2 p.m. Our reservation was on the office door and we set up the trailer then went back at 2 p.m. to pay. Many good restaurants in this town and a great Farmers Market on Saturdays. We have stayed here several times and will do so again. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
