The co-owner of the park checked us in. She was very helpful when my husband accidentally left his brand new impact wrench at the site when we left. She took the time to walk around the park looking for it, found it, and agreed to mail it to us at our home and pay for the postage. My husband and I think she went above and beyond the call of duty. She was very helpful when we were hooking up also. Her husband was taking care of the grounds when we arrived. The grounds were very neat and clean. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older park but it is very peaceful, very clean and everything worked great. The owner/manager was extremely friendly and we would go back there if we go back that way. Dog friendly with a clean doggie area. It's close to everything and we highly recommend it. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed one night in a 40' MH with tow. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a pull thru site which was convenient. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Easy in and out - ask about the alternate exit as there is a one way street out front that you would have to pull out and make an immediate left turn to get to the other one way street back to fwy - difficult to do in a large rig. Would stay again. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We did not plan to stop in Grants Pass, but had a breakdown on I-5 (lost a wheel/tire from tag axle) just 20 miles north so 'limped' into town. We initially stayed just one night and then moved to a service facility (Henderson's Line-Up - OUTSTANDING!) for diagnosis. While waiting for parts (we have a 17 year old bus), we returned to Rogue Valley Overniters. The first night we really did not experience the campground... now we've been here a week and really appreciate all that it has going for it. The campground is located on the north side of town and there are many things to see and do around Grants Pass. Much of the campground appears to be occupied by permanent residents, but they keep their sites in good shape. The sites that are used by those who are just staying short-term are all near the office and are all very well kept up by the management and staff. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Henderson's Line-Up is great if you want to get your RV to drive more comfortably. They have a "Road Performance Assessment" during which you go with one of their technicians on a test drive, and then you can look at the underneath of your rig with them. They make recommendations on what you might want to do to improve any driving deficiencies of your rig. We also enjoyed a Saturday tour (11am spring thru fall) at Rogue Creamery, west of town. Robotic organic dairy farm. Fascinating!

Security is very poor here. A very expensive mountain bike was stolen from our site. It was locked up with a cable lock a few feet from our door, which was open while we were sleeping with just the screen. The thief had just the right tool to snip the cable like it was nothing. Locals told us this is a very big known problem in there. An employee at the RV park told us tools are often stolen from the park and it is common for a bike to be stolen. We wish the park had warned us when we checked in so we would have known to make extra precautions. There are lots of long term residents here. The overnight spots are clean and nice. Good shade and decently landscaped. Facilities clean except shower curtains were moldy. The location is very appealing, right off I-5, lots of restaurants and services, but apparently this is also why it is a popular place for thieves. Beware. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Liked it here, mainly due to many nearby restaurants, fast food and regular! Also gambling @ Ric's Corvette bar & grill. Bus service into the city was very good, easy and reasonable! They advertise 20 or 30 sites, but believe me, I only counted 9 or 10 available, that didn't have permanent or long term rv's in them! Also, it's apparent that there's alot of family, from mgmt, down! Managers were friendly. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay for a night, perhaps a few. Close to main road but very quiet. Office staff friendly on check-in. Spot was plenty long for us to stay hitched. Gravel but very level sites. Wifi the usual not so hot or useful. Would stay again. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Travel Trailer.

Overniters is just that - an okay stop for one night. They advertise wi-fi and cable t.v but we rarely could connect to the wi-fi and were unable to use the cable as you had to have a box of some sort. They offered the box but since we can't get to the back of our t.v. we couldn't use it. In fairness to the wi-fi it was explained they are getting interference from an antenna across the street and are in the process of installing boosters in the hopes of getting a better signal inside the park. This park is primarily permanent residents - many of which have very old rv's. The owners keep the park clean but still has a cluttered look in many of the permanent spots. Most of those older units were in a separate lower section of the park. You couldn't ask for a nicer person at check in. She was extremely friendly and helpful. It's just too bad we weren't told when we called that the wi-fi wasn't working and there may be a problem using their cable. We would have gone elsewhere. I don't feel we got our money's worth at this place. Definitely will not return. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Motorhome.

The park is conveniently located near all southern Oregon attractions, with easy-on/easy-off I-5 freeway access. Both 30 amp/50 amp pull-through and back-in sites available. Both park restrooms and laundry are exceptionally clean, grounds well-kept with an on-site park managers who are a joy to deal with and very attentive to all customer needs! We often stop here on our trips through Oregon. It convenient, clean and close to tons of food including our favorites, Black Bear and Taco Bell. It a basic overnight stop, like the title implies. The WiFi was the best I've experienced for some time at a campground...

People there were nice and friendly. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Motorhome.

This park is as advertised - a clean, basic place to stay overnight. We stayed two nights in a large pull through. Park managers were very friendly, the bathrooms were clean and our site was fine. The wifi worked great. The sites are mostly gravel so rain would create puddles - not sure what other's expectations are, but it was great for us.
