Our site was level and we had no trouble parking our 40 ft coach in it. We did see some other sites that weren't as level and a few sites that people couldn't park their units in because of tree placement--so be sure you look not only at your site, but the ones opposite for trees, before you make your reservation. This park has the most beautiful bike trails we have ever seen. The fort is also full of fascinating history. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

A very large park with paved streets. Verizon cell very weak. Got a site that had a clearing for satelite to work, most do not. In 40 plus years of camping this by far was the noisiest park we have ever stayed in. Kids you expect, drunk adults and barking dogs, not so much. Would not consider it big rig friendly, tight turns and close trees. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Huge park and the grounds are kept up very well. Water pressure was low, but all other utilities worked fine. No satellite coverage. AT&T and Verizon were both marginal. The sites are good sized. Lots to do in the park, but not close to the campgrounds. Pretty much have to drive or ride bikes to wherever you want to go. The mosquitos were horrible even during the day. Looks like you could have multiple tents and vehicles along with the rig on each site as some sites were really full. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Love this state park with deer and elk in the park, picnics by the lake, walks on the beach and the banana pull through sites. Only problem this time is that it was buggy. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Very BIG state park. Has pretty much everything for RV camping. Sites were dirt which was the only drawback. Definitely would stay again. Lots of traffic coming and going but still safe camping areas. We give it high marks. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Folks it doesn't get better than this for a state park. Full hookups, shady sites, plenty of room, great hiking and biking trails, level sites, walkable to the beaches and all for $32 night. I struggle to find any faults but I will say that you may not get cell service if you don't have a booster. With a booster, I was able to pull in solid Verizon, AT&T mobile but without one, not so much. Even with a booster, Verizon was slow (2mbps). T mobile and ATT were better (3-5mbps). Lots of OTA channels. All together this is one of my favorite state parks ever. The surroundings are so gorgeous and the beaches (while too cold to swim) are tranquil. Everywhere is dog friendly including the beaches. Fun area to explore. Check out Seaside for a cute town to shop in. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Our favorite Oregon state park! This place is huge and has so much to offer. The campsites are very nice and we fit fine in our 40 ft. 5th wheel. I loved the miles of paved bike trails. We visited the fort/historical area and the ship wreck on the beach. There is a lake where you can fish. The northern tip of the park is beautiful where you can see the ocean on one side and the mouth of the Columbia river on the other side. On a clear day you can see Astoria across the river as well as the state of Washington. We only stayed 4 days and really could have spent more time. Next time we are in Oregon we will definitely come back. Verizon was pretty weak, but worked okay with a booster, AT&T worked better. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Busy park with many group campers and active children riding bikes. Very nice walking/biking paths, paved and unpaved. Easy access to the day use areas that have huge parking lots and quick access to the ocean and beach. These parking lots can easily accommodate motorhomes. Because our site was not available when we checked in (we arrived very early) we were directed to one of the day use areas. The south jetty afforded whale watching opportunities. Astoria is a short drive away. We particularly liked going to the Column with the panoramic view of the area. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Its a state park. What else is there to say. They are very busy and therefore your well being is not number one but again it's a state park. Very nice grounds etc. We wouldn't stay here again but I think it has more to do with the darkness of the campground. The beach can be gloomy enough without being blocked out from the sun completely.Had to jack knife the rig to get the fifth wheel in this spot but we made it. Large campground with lots to do. Typical nice Oregon State Park. We enjoyed the many trails and also used the camp as our base to explore nearby Astoria. We also crossed over into Washington and explored the Columbia from that side of the river. We arrived early but were not able to get into our site because they had a large group that just exited the area and it wasn't cleaned up. The staff showed us where to park our MH until we could get in which allowed us to enjoy the park while waiting. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

One of our best camping experiences in 40 years of camping. So much to do at this park and in the area - ocean, lake, history, and shopping. Granddaughters enjoyed riding bikes - nice hiking trails - only negative was too many mosquitoes so make sure you are prepared. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Travel Trailer.
