3 Parks near Hermiston, Oregon
Sep 2012 - $17.00
PA rate. I can agree with the May-Aug reviews except that we found our site, 301, to be subject to a lot of road noise. But 301 is one of the sites closest to the highway. Friendly staff, clean, lots of "permanents". Cable good, couldn't get the wifi password to work. - rncordy
Jul 2012 - $22.00
We arrived late on a very hot July evening, and paid the fee since the office was closed. We did use the restroom/showers. It's an attractive park with lots of grass and trees. The bugs weren't bad, especially considering the proximity to the river. The nearby road wasn't loud or busy, and we found the park quiet. The only problem we had, andand it was significant for us, was the bright yard light in the center of the park. Because of the heat, we had to keep the windows and curtains open for ventilation so the light was intense. We had to leave early so we didn't happen to meet the owners or check out the camp store. This is a quiet, clean, and reasonably-priced camp. I'd not hesitate to return. If one must keep the curtains open; however, avoid the glare of the yard lights. - User2873
May 2011 - $19.00
Called ahead from I-84 and was told that sites were available, only to drive 10 miles out of the way to find the place full. grrrr. This place looks kind of dumpy with many permanents and one rather unsavory character observed. Will not return and hope to warn others of this miscommunication from the owner. It was full so we moved on. - saturn7
Jun 2015 - $18.00
We arrived late in the afternoon and were pleased to be able to get one of the last available pull through spaces.
A lovely clean , well manicured park. Nice and quite at night. Some long term tenants, but kept nice and clean.
The WiFi was free but worked very slow. There was no cable TV.
They allowed Pets - we have dogs- However, there were signs up all over the place saying "no pets allowed". The only place you could allow your pet to stretch their legs and toilet was on one area of grass in the far back corner of the park. Which I wasn't keen to go to after dark. This is what lowered my overall rating of the park. We would stay here again. - Keez
May 2015 - $19.00
Very nice park to overnight in. Site was long enough for our 40' MH and jeep parked in front. It has neatly trimmed grassy sites with enough room for our slides and then some, no trees at all. This park was full and we were lucky to get a spot. Wifi worked, we did not use the cable tv system as it require installing a box and we didn't need to watch tv that much to bother. Easy in and out with towed unhooked. Office personel were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for nearby sight seeing. - JAWS
May 2015 - $30.00
We stayed overnight at the Hermiston Pioneer RV Park. We had reservations and check in was easy. We paid nothing in advanced so that always makes us nervous but, the lady at check in was very nice and helpful. Our space # 411 was close to the showers but, they are your normal tight fits. The utilities are set up for large RV's so the septic is all the way to the back. Fortunately we have lots of cords and hoses. The space was level so no need for blocks. The restroom and showers were excellent. They were modern and very clean. The park is quite with a few long stay residents. We stayed in our 40' RV and if we were in the area again we would use the Hermiston Pioneer RV Park as a stopover. - SteelHorseRider
