One of the best RV parks in eastern Oregon. The owners hospitality was the best I've ever seen anywhere. Grounds were very clean, spaces are all large enough for any rig. Very clean restrooms and showers. Swimming pool, hot tub and showers are all heated with mineral water from the hot springs lake. Many attractions to visit while you are there. Could have spent an entire week there to be able to see and enjoy all the attractions. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Park was convenient to the attractions we visited. The park is large, but gravel, and on a gravel road. There is some grass between sites, but very few or young trees in park. There are two common fire pits, and they supply fire wood. Our site was level and accommodated our RV and tow. They willingly changed our site reservation to a more private spot.

There is a hot spring on the property, but you have to rent the Yurt to have access to it. The Yurt was the best site, as it had a private porch, with two garden tubs on it to access the hot spring water, and a private fire pit. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Very nice, large, quiet, clean well-kept park with a good amount of space between sites. Grass (prickly) between sites. Sites are gravel. You may hear the occasional train. There is a hot spring "canal" that puts off a slight sulfur odor if you are close to it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is Excellent!!! And since there are no trees (ergo no shade) the satellite reception is excellent for Direct TV. Be sure to tell them when you register or at least when you check in that you want to use your satellite so they put you farther out and not close to the hill right behind the resort which would block your line to the satellites. It is 5 miles off of I-82 so no freeway noise - Pay attention to their directions and take exit 265 not 268 as Google or GPS might tell you - that would put you on a gravel road for 2 miles. As it is there is about ½ mile of gravel to the park but not bad. Restrooms are older and could use an update but they were clean enough. We would stay here again - longer if we were going to explore this very interesting and unique area. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

This is the fourth time was have stopped here. The park is well run by a friendly staff and very clean. It is well off the freeway, quiet and dark at night. The power and water were fine. We did not use the spa/pool but it looked good. The sites are well spaced and long and fairly level pull through's. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Spread out with great views. Neighbors not close. Good grounds to walk around. Very small pool. There is a small town one can visit, but there is no reason to do so unless you must. Sites big and pretty level. Every site is a very long pull through with a nice lawn. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Check out the Hot Lake Springs Hotel next door. They have self-guided tours with an amazing museum collection of native artifacts and more. It is very interesting. It is owned by a famous bronze sculpture artist and his wife.

Very quiet and peaceful. Pull through dirt/grass spaces very long and level. Out away from the hustle and bustle of city and interstate. Train nearby but not noticeable as no horns. A great place to just relax. We've stayed here before and we'll stay here again. Upgrading wifi but in our space it was difficult to use but Verizon & AT&T were adequate. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

We only stayed for a night. The campground is five miles from Interstate 84. It's next to the Oregon Trail and we would have stayed longer if our schedule permitted.

5 miles from freeway on short gravel road. Very long pull through site. No shade on site but large trees and extensive lawn on perimeter of park. Lot of area to walk the dogs. Pretty fountain at entrance. Large hill behind the park. Small pool. Very nice, helpful staff. Easy in and out. Would stay here again. This park is clean and spacious with many amenities - a tent area, a pavilion for group use, horseshoe pit, spa, heated pool, mini-mart, play area, pet walk, etc. Set a few miles off the interstate, it's quiet and peaceful too (although there is some distant train noise at times). Sites are all pull-throughs. Be careful when hooking up. The blue hydrants are for drinking water and the green hydrants are for irrigation water. One weird thing was how hot the restrooms were. I assume this was because they're heated by the hot springs. It must have been over 90 deg. in the lady's room! Even the porcelain of the toilet was warm to the touch! We'd stay here again. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The nearby Hot Lake Springs hotel, once fallen into ruins, has been undergoing restoration for a few years now. Once a swanky hotel and place to take the cures, it is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It costs $10/person to take a tour of the premises. Read the reviews on TripAdvisor before you decide to spring for the tour. It may be worth it to you, but we gave it a pass.

Used the after-hours check in, which was fine. Not many campers here; maybe 15% of sites occupied. The locked restroom has a sign asking people not to take the rolls of toilet paper. What? I guess people who stay there do this? The wi-fi was terrible despite the very small number of campers and I gave up on using it. Some antenna tv available, but listings on brochure are out of date. The dirt road to the park is in need of grading as it is full of potholes. Thankfully it's not too long. There wasn't anything close enough to walk to, but there are several shops and restaurants in nearby towns. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We came upon this park in need of a good night's sleep and a day of rest to follow. The manager was so friendly and accommodating. We were able to fully hook up on a moment's notice and didn't have to make reservations. The park is beautiful and well kept. There is a large restroom and shower and the office sells some basic needs items in their little store area. There is a creek on the property with a trail you can walk. The road around the park is secluded enough to take walks there as well. Beautiful scenery around the park and just a lovely time. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Spotlessly clean rural park about 5 easy miles off the freeway. All sites are large flat gravel and level

What makes this park stand out is the naturally heated water in the soaking pool and spa. While we found the spa a bit too warm four our taste, the pool temp was perfect for a soak, in the high 80's!

Flying J at the freeway for fuel helps with handy fuel befor heading on up the road. Most spaces open and clear so most if not all the park is satellite friendly. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is a tough one to review objectively because of the weather situation when we were there. The entire PacNW was in the 90s-100s under a heat alert and it was imperative to find shade & AC. We saw this private park advertised in the tourist literature showing shade trees & advertising shady spots. Unfortunately, when we got there we discovered the only shade was in the tent camping area and all of the RV spots were exposed in the blazing sun, not a shade tree around. We couldn't even leave our awning out while we went into town to cool off because of the potential for high winds. So we were pretty disappointed in the physical difference between what we expected & what we got re shade & trees. That being said, the office staff were extremely friendly & helpful and the laundry & shower areas were spotless. In more milder weather, it would be a fine overnight spot. Sites were level and pull-through. No road noise & quiet at night. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Motorhome.
