Park is very clean and well laid out with wide streets. Camp site was spacious, level, with dirt & gravel. Nice wide grass area between sites. It had 30-50 amp service, picnic table, and fire pit. It also was much longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad and plenty wide. There were youg trees around but still able to get satellite service. Hookups are easy to connect to. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Motorhome.

The park is very nice....big lots with room between neighbors. The view and sunsets were great. The town of LaGrande/Island City was close enough to run into for a bite to eat and grocery shop. The park is well kept and clean. Even though the train track is close by, we did not hear it. If we travel through this area again, we will surely make a stop here. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the best park we have ever stayed at. New park, well designed, friendly staff, pool, spa, good wi-fi clean restrooms, handy off I-84. Close to the Hells Canyon Scenic Drives, spectacular Canyon and mountain scenery. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

After a poor experience when trying to check into another RV Park in La Grande, we pulled this RV Park on the GPS and we are so glad we did. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The campground is pristine. and to top it off we got to take a swim after a long traveling trip to get here. The showers are clean & new and there is lots to do! If we are ever back in this area we will make it a point to return here. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

The Grande Hot Springs RV Resort is located in a beautiful part of the country with plenty to see around it. The park itself has long sites with plenty of grass between you and your neighbor. Lots of walking areas for your dogs, a hot tub and a pool, which is more of a soaking pool as it is quite warm from the hot springs. What makes this place especially great are the staff/camp hosts who were awesome - so friendly and always helpful. I would highly recommend this park for anyone who wants to visit the northeastern part of the state and all the beauty it has to offer. Tips for other Campers:

There is so much to do in this area: The Little Alps/Anthony Lakes Loop; Sumpter and the gold dredge; The Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Baker City; Wallowa Lake and Wallowa Lake Tram; Joseph and The Hot Springs Hotel (what a surprising gem!).

Came for rally, stayed 10 days. After 6 days received the 7th day free. Staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. There is a busy railroad about 1/2 mile from the camp but we found the camp to be very quiet. Will likely stay here again! We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate at Mamacita's in La Grande and found it to have very good food. It's not all Mexican. I had a steak that was tender and tasty. Also ate at Moy's Dynasty Restaurant in La Grande and found it to be good.

Very nice park outside of La Grande, OR. The camp hosts Chris and Jodi are amazing and very nice. The owners are also very friendly. Nice little playground for the kids. The hot spring pool and hot tub were amazing and so warm. Beautifully maintained sites that were level. Full hookups and plenty of space between sites. The bathrooms are very nicely decorated and very clean. All sites are pull through. It was an excellent place to stay. This is a pretty little park nestled between a grassy hill and a wildlife refuge. The park is mostly open grass with dirt and gravel roads and sites. There is adequate room between sites and the full hookups were flawless. The bathroom and showers were brand new. We really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly Host. Pulled in on Halloween night and they were all dressed for the part! Even though we didn't get any trick or treat'rs, they had put together a nice information card about where we could eat etc. The spots were larger than 90% of the parks we've stayed in. Would definitely return! We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Its one of 2 parks in/near La Grande, its the better of the two. Facility is fine. Price seems a bit high - especially for late October. They have 2 pools (one is kind of a hot tub, but no jets... just hot water) - water seems treated, not hot spring water (no odor at all of hydrogen sulfide). Overall, its a place to stay. VERY windy - especially when compared to the town - just a few miles away. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed staying at this park which is surrounded by hills and open space - quite nice. The sites were a little close together considering the room they had to work with though. The pool is heated by the nearby hot springs which is nice. The sweet couple that own the property are in the process of installing yurts with nice wooden front porches and private patios with their own hot tubs. One is complete, another is nearly complete and more yurts and cabins with their own bathrooms are in the works for a total of ten once completed. The wifi was EXCELLENT and is divided by area of the park - a different password depending on where you are located. A word of caution upon accessing the park: Our GPS had us exit the first La Grande exit to the east of town and we had to drive a little over two miles on a very pot-holed gravel road. If you exit Highway 203 and drive north, you can turn right on Hot Lake Lane and drive about a half mile instead - and the road is much less rough. Definitely the best way to go. We would stay here again. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park a few miles south of Le Grade OR. Park roads are gravel, wide and easy to maneuver on. All the sites are gravel, level, pull thru with plenty of space for tow trailer and/or tow car. Nicely spaced side to side with grass, table, fire ring and some small trees. Park is in transition of being expanded and upgraded. All utilities worked well and are easy to hook up. Cable good, ATT and Verizon cell signal strong. This is the first park we've stayed at where the WIFI signal is excellent. Bath and showers are newly upgraded, well maintained, and very clean. Staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful. There is a nice pool and hot tub heated from a hot spring. Cabins and tent sites are available. We would definitely stay there again. Nice level pull-thru sites. This is a big, spread out campground, so theres plenty of room between camp sites. There's acres of ground to walk your pets; they ask for leashes but don't seem to enforce it. There's a small heated pool & hot tub behind the office (jets don't work, but nice & hot for soaking). Rest rooms & showers really nice, paneled walls, stone patterned tiles in showers. Great wi-fi, showing 15Gb download, 2Gb upload. A few downs. Only antenna TV, couldn't pull in NBC. More trees would be nice, although each site has a sapling. All staff super friendly & helpful. It was so nice we decided to stay an extra day, so quiet & peaceful here. Clean park good for over night stay. My only complaint is the sites all face the wrong direction. This causes sitting out in the direct sun and heat with no shade. However, we took our chairs and sat under a tree. Otherwise spacious sites with friendly staff. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Motorhome.
