We have stayed in this membership park many times and are only charged 5 dollars nightly because we want 50 amp service. The park is convenient to the outdoor things we like to do. You are 25 miles south of Bend, OR as well. Park is dusty, and basic. PVC waterlines froze 5 nights in a row. No sign of wrapping or protection of any kind. The power is stable and sewer connection is close. Due to the cold weather we got mice in the motorhome while here. We suspect they were trying to escape the cold. We will stay here again, due to the price and location. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice, huge park with large pull through FHU sites. Good electric and water quality. Small playground; outdoor pool. No dog park but land and roads across the street to let the dogs loose. No rec hall, but a small café open on weekends; they host activities and pot luck dinners. Roads are good and everything worked. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a decent place that you should use just for an overnight stay on the way to some other place. It's a big field with hook ups. I will say the service was good but I would not eat breakfast there- $8 for all you can eat sausage, eggs and potatoes. The food is much like military food. I would definitely drive into La Pine for food. Also, no fire rings provided- they will rent one to you. The bathroom worked but it is a bit run down. All in all, I would not pay full price. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Large rig friendly, ALL pull-through and FULL hook-ups, including sewer. Very important in this area. Close to tourist activities and attractions, and shopping, great fishing, mountain bike & hiking. Only downside is that this is as advertised: meadows and no trees. Staff is amazingly good and knowledgeable as well as authentically sincere. Plan to stay here for awhile and enjoy the area. Easy to get in and out of. Interior roads are dirt and all one-way through the rows of pull-through sites. Utilities worked well. We did not pay for the WiFi. Verizon signal good. Site was grass, level, clear for satellite and very large. Bathrooms were very clean and laundry clean and nice. Price is ROD plus the $5 50 amp charge. Check in process simple, friendly and helpful. We'll stay again if in the area. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We used our free "get acquainted" stay to check out this campground, and ended up joining as Members of RPI. Our stay was a little early in the year after a very snowy winter, so they were still getting set up for the camping year. Bathrooms, showers, laundry areas are clean and nice. All sites are pull-through. We were parked in the NE part of the park, which has some trees, but most of the campground is without trees. The view of Mt. Bachelor and the Three Sisters was great, and hwy 97 going by as close as it was did not cause any undue noise that we noted. The best part of this park is the people. Everyone was great at making sure our stay was pleasant and that we had all the information we needed. We chose this as our "Home" campground because of all the great things to do in the area. The owners of this park are new in the last year or two, and are in the middle of several upgrade projects that will continue to improve the usefulness and livability of Cascade Meadows. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort. The sites were very large and it was a very peaceful park. The resort was always very well kept even with the heavy snow and cold winter we had. I never had an issue getting in or out of the park because the manager and his staff kept the roads clear for us. He was always so helpful in anything we needed. One day he even took the snow off the hood of my truck for me. The manager and his staff really made us feel like family while we stayed there the few months we did. They even invited us to a Christmas and New year party. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a quite family friendly park you cant get any better then this in Central Oregon. By the way the views of the mountains are amazing. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Large pull-thru sites. Nice pool available. Several planned activities, should you wish to participate. Restaurant on site. Downside is that the sites are all on grass. A nice place to center from for several side trips. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

One of the main reasons I liked this park is for the same reason others don't. NO trees, therefore no leaves, no bird poop, easy satellite set-up, etc. Trees mainly leave a mess on your rig. It is wide open with very large pull-thru sites which are easy in, easy out. Staff was extremely friendly and when assigning sites they left everyone spaced out rather than placing everyone on top of each other. WiFi was excellent. You get one gig free and then pay $1.00/gig thereafter. Extremely fair. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The new fellow who does the cleaning of the restrooms does an excellent job! I was able to observe him several days and he is VERY thorough even using a steam cleaner. While this used to be a favorite park it has changed hands and therefore some rules have changed also. We used to be able to buy our week out (this is a membership park) but no longer so we changed our plans and left. The sites are quite wide with grass, all pull-thrus facing northeast so you have a good chance of having a rig's rear end facing you if there is someone in the row ahead of you. All the amenities are at the very front so if you want to use the pool, playground, clubhouse or courts you need to request sites near the front as otherwise you will have a long walk. The dumpster is also at the front. There are two restrooms, one fairly close to the front and one near the back of the park in the middle of the row they are located. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to see in the area. Cascade Lakes Scenic byway has many (like 20) lakes and is a great ride on a motorcycle. Paulina Lake and East Lake are right up the 'hill' and are also a great motorcycle ride.

This park is another large field with very few trees, which I don't understand since the surrounding areas are nothing but trees. We stayed preseason, so the restaurant on site was closed. The pool was closed as well. The bathrooms looked to be newly remodeled and very nice inside. The club house was quite small, but had all the usual things, plus a popcorn machine that was free. The laundry rooms were nice, but 2 of the 3 machines were out of order. They did not have a sign on the washer, so had to go to the office to get a refund. They said they had machines on order, but didn't know when they would get them. We got 1 gig free internet, otherwise, it is a pay service. The sewer hookup was weirdly above ground. Sites were nice and level. We couldn't put out a big patio mat because it would be on the grass. We were told to park on the gravel in our site, but it was covered with grass, so we did our best. The grass areas were maintained--grass was recently cut. You could see and hear the main highway that goes through central Oregon, however, the noise died off at night, so it wasn't too bad. On the plus side, this place is super close to the Newberry National Volcanic monument and other national forest recreational areas. Some of the lakes/roads were still closed for the winter! We would stay here again because it is so close to many activities. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

There are some things in La Pine, but if you're looking for more of a variety of shopping and eating, your best bet is to go into Bend. Sunriver also has a nice little eating/shopping village.

As ROD members, we have stayed here before. The hosts are helpful and courteous, the mail service was great, the park is clean, and the spaces are wide enough. Power is OK, not great, but no problems. Near Newbury Volcanic National Monument and other great places to visit. This is a great place to stop when you are in central Oregon for a few days. Nice enough spot. Big grassy field with hookups. No problem for satellite. No trees. Dirt roads kept damp with water truck. Fair amount of room between sites. All pull through. Rate is my best guess, might be off a few bucks. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate is due to ROD membership. Only downside was the traffic noise. Very big wide spaces and everything worked great. Nice showers with tons of hot water. Didn't use the pool but others did and seemed to have any issues. Only downside was the store only open a couple of hours? Our site has gravel, most others are grass.
