This was the first time we stayed at this park. It was a pleasant experience set in pines by the Deschutes Channel. There's even a decent aroma of pines. Sites are nearby but not on top of each other. They are spacious. Some even have a substantial buffer of trees between them. Everyone at the resort was friendly. The sites on the water side get a partial view through trees. The showers (we did not use) are $2 for 5 minutes. The bathrooms are rustic and rusty but clean and functional. The loop and sites are dirt. It is dusty in the summer. The RV sites are by reservation only. When you arrive, park in your site then walk across the road to the resort store to check in. The resort is across the road in an easy walk. There you have a store, restaurant, boat rentals, and a 1-mile trail that goes around South Twin Lake. We camped at Twin Lakes Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Their restaurant has cold and hot sandwiches and some dinner options. They have a large selection of beer and wine. There is a view of South Twin Lake from either inside or on the patio. The patio does allow dogs. We made a reservation for one night at the patio.

What a wonderful resort. All the RV spots are amazingly spacious and if you make your reservations well in advance, you may even luck out and get a Deschutes Channel waterfront site. The lake was fun, lots of hiking trails, all of the staff especially the owners are amazingly friendly and helpful. We want to give a special thanks to a wonderful waitress. She gave us great information about hiking trails. She deserves every tip she receives! Hubby broke a bolt off his battery and the owner gave him a new one so we didn't have to go clear into town. Well stocked little store too! The resort was clean and we can't wait to come back. This place is a must visit on your camping adventure list. Great for kids. Kayaks, boats, canoes and water board rentals. Thank you to all for making our stay the best. Keep up the great work!!!! We camped at Twin Lakes Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Twin Lakes Restaurant a must. Amazingly good and fair priced food. We had Chicken Fried Chicken one night and not only was it to die for, the portion was so huge that we took home leftovers. The price was fair at $15. Real mashed potatoes! The restaurant seating looked right out over the lake.

Hike to North Twin Lakes and Wickiup as well as other hiking and biking trails. And, of course, lots and lots of fishing in the area; lakes and rivers.

I have been camping here for 20 years and love this park . They have a very good staff that is willing to help whenever needed . The facilities are old, but taken very good care of. There are new owners that took over a couple of years ago and they are as good if not better than the old ones. We camped at Twin Lakes Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We enjoyed 7 days at Twin Lakes Resort. They only have 22 sites on a single loop. The loop is not too wide. I think we were the biggest rig staying there (36' long). Getting into our slot #2 was a little tricky as there is not a lot of room to swing in. But the slot itself was long and spacious enough. #2 has 30 amp - not 50. Don't know if 50 amp is available on other spaces or not. We camped at Twin Lakes Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The restrooms and showers were old fashioned but reasonably clean. A very woodsy setting with nice level trails and the fishing was marginal. Avoid sites near the dumpsters as the smell is a bit bad. Many families had camped there each year forever. A well stocked store and nice restaurant. We camped at Twin Lakes Resort in a Motorhome.
