This is a real gem of a park. It is located on a 6000 acre ranch and we were told they run 5000 head of cattle. All the sites are pull-through, and the ones where we stayed are long, level, easy entry and exit. The park is arranged around a large grass area that has the club house and bathrooms, laundry facility and even gas grills for the use of the guests. They have a couple of lush grass areas that are for tent campers as well. You are met by the camp hosts as you drive in, given the lay of the park and land, and sent on your way to you site. We thoroughly enjoyed the cattle, birds and wildlife that were in abundance. We didn't use the restrooms, but they were clean and neat. As others have said, the only negative about the park is the 2 mile drive on a very dusty dirt road from the highway to the park. Had we known how fantastic this park is and the serenity of the surrounding area we would have planned on staying longer. If we're in this area we'll visit again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

What a gem! After a long day of driving, we were able to nicely relax at Juniper. Although a tad windy the day we were there, the service and landscape totally overshadow it. We fished, watched the cows being rounded up. Nice size sites and some shade trees circle the park. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Look for bald eagles, a beaver and many cows. Our grand-daughter sure enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely come back if in the area.

The only negative about this park is the one mile drive over a gravel road. The sites were very large. The hosts were extremely friendly. Beautiful scenery, quiet, great wifi, no problem with satellite set-up. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

What a wonderful find! Only 1 mile off Hwy 140 but a relaxing retreat you don't want to miss. Beautiful, quiet, friendly. Not really a place for kids. Thousands of acres are available to explore. Wildlife and water foul to observe. We will be back and will stay longer! We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent 3 nights in this park. The park hosts were very friendly, and the facililties are well kept.

Junipers calls itself an "RV Resort". This is misleading, at least in my experience with RV resorts.

There is no pool or hot tub, and no on-site store.

The entire site loop, and all of the sites, are gravel. Wind the wind blows (as it does most of the time here), there is ALOT of dust in the air, so you have to keep your windows closed. By the end of our stay, we still had quite a bit of dust inside the trailer.

The site was far from level, which is not a big deal, but I expect a "resort" to have paved and level sites.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, and would return to this park if we are passing through the area. But, it is nowhere near what a real RV resort is. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very tidy facility with lots of trails to walk and bike on. Fished in reservoir since it is on private property and didn't need a fishing license.

The sites are not large but easy pull-throughs and angled to give good views of mountains. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

Nice park off highway, very quiet . This is a working ranch, a large herd of cows would cross the pasture each evening, nice to watch. Clean showers, good laundry, good WiFi at space. Clubhouse with television, about 10 miles outside of town. Camp hosts friendly, good communication. $10 deposit for reservations. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a good spot for an overnight or two stay. The hosts are friendly and keep the showers and laundry spotless. There is also a nice covered pavillion with tables for dining or games. We were disappointed in how close the sites were and that there was no buffer between them. Also, the sites are on dirt and there was no shade. It is in the open, so it got pretty hot even in September. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We love this park. We try to make our trips through Lakeview just so we can stay here. This is a working ranch with all the sounds and sights of a ranch. There are jeep trails to explore and a reservoir with trout! While you are parked rather close to your neighbor, you do have a wonderful unobstructed view from your front window of mountains and ranch life. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Visit the tourist office in Lakeview for information and maps. This is rock hound country and you will want to try to find thunder eggs, etc.

A jewel hidden on a cattle ranch 10 miles west of Lakeview on Highway 140. Gravel road leads to RV park. Pull thru spots circle around green grass with some shade trees. great rec room, spotless heated bathroom with fresh flowers and white plush bath mats. Water & electricity, no dump station. Free trout fishing in reservoir. Worth 10 mile drive from 395. Second visit and will come again. Camped in 17 ft Casita. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Passport America rate. 2 minor negatives; only 5 OTA tv stations and no fenced dog run. VERY quiet park, friendly hosts, and level sites. Easy in and easy out from sites and from park. Gravel road from the highway was in very good condition. No dust from the park's gravel loop road. Decent spacing between sites and partial shade at almost every site. Walking trail loop is about 3 miles total into the woods and back. On-site free fishing and there are several lakes within an hr drive. On-site laundry is $1.75 to wash and a quarter per 10 min dry. Town of Lakeview is 10 miles and has everything you need; hardware store, grocery store, many restaurants, 2 gas stations (only one has diesel), etc. Local tourist office has loads of info on area and Oregon. ATV store in town can order motorcycle parts; 2 days or more to get parts in depending on what warehouse they're in. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Snack Shack and Burger Queen had good burgers. El Aguila Real Mexican Restaurant had good food, good prices and fast service. Dinner Bell Cafe was o.k., but nothing special.

Old Perpetual Geyser wasn't geysing. Drought had taken it's toll.

Between Lakeview and Klamath Falls, the only gas station is in Bly, about 40 miles west of Lakeview.

This is a very quiet park in the middle of a ranch. It is a couple of miles off the main road on a gravel road and 10 miles from Lakeview. There is shade at most sites and sites are level. Hookups are good. While we were there, there was a wedding in the middle of the park's grassy area. It provided entertainment in an otherwise very quiet park. The staff was very friendly. The Wifi was very good. If you want to relax in a quiet area, this is a good park to stay at. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
