Nice park off highway, very quiet . This is a working ranch, a large herd of cows would cross the pasture each evening, nice to watch. Clean showers, good laundry, good WiFi at space. Clubhouse with television, about 10 miles outside of town. Camp hosts friendly, good communication. $10 deposit for reservations. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a working ranch. Nice place, very quiet and the skies are beautiful when the stars come out. We would stay here again.

This is a good spot for an overnight or two stay. The hosts are friendly and keep the showers and laundry spotless. There is also a nice covered pavillion with tables for dining or games. We were disappointed in how close the sites were and that there was no buffer between them. Also, the sites are on dirt and there was no shade. It is in the open, so it got pretty hot even in September. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We love this park. We try to make our trips through Lakeview just so we can stay here. This is a working ranch with all the sounds and sights of a ranch. There are jeep trails to explore and a reservoir with trout! While you are parked rather close to your neighbor, you do have a wonderful unobstructed view from your front window of mountains and ranch life. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the tourist office in Lakeview for information and maps. This is rock hound country and you will want to try to find thunder eggs, etc.

A jewel hidden on a cattle ranch 10 miles west of Lakeview on Highway 140. Gravel road leads to RV park. Pull thru spots circle around green grass with some shade trees. great rec room, spotless heated bathroom with fresh flowers and white plush bath mats. Water & electricity, no dump station. Free trout fishing in reservoir. Worth 10 mile drive from 395. Second visit and will come again. Camped in 17 ft Casita. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

+ 8 sites are wide and level; electricity is good ++ free wi-fi works good, no code needed; park is on a ranch and is quiet
- 2 access is by one mile of gravel road; receipt is by email,
We would stay again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A tour of the ranch [all dirt roads] is well worth the time

Passport America rate. 2 minor negatives; only 5 OTA tv stations and no fenced dog run. VERY quiet park, friendly hosts, and level sites. Easy in and easy out from sites and from park. Gravel road from the highway was in very good condition. No dust from the park's gravel loop road. Decent spacing between sites and partial shade at almost every site. Walking trail loop is about 3 miles total into the woods and back. On-site free fishing and there are several lakes within an hr drive. On-site laundry is $1.75 to wash and a quarter per 10 min dry. Town of Lakeview is 10 miles and has everything you need; hardware store, grocery store, many restaurants, 2 gas stations (only one has diesel), etc. Local tourist office has loads of info on area and Oregon. ATV store in town can order motorcycle parts; 2 days or more to get parts in depending on what warehouse they're in. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Snack Shack and Burger Queen had good burgers. El Aguila Real Mexican Restaurant had good food, good prices and fast service. Dinner Bell Cafe was o.k., but nothing special.

Old Perpetual Geyser wasn't geysing. Drought had taken it's toll.

Between Lakeview and Klamath Falls, the only gas station is in Bly, about 40 miles west of Lakeview.

This is a very quiet park in the middle of a ranch. It is a couple of miles off the main road on a gravel road and 10 miles from Lakeview. There is shade at most sites and sites are level. Hookups are good. While we were there, there was a wedding in the middle of the park's grassy area. It provided entertainment in an otherwise very quiet park. The staff was very friendly. The Wifi was very good. If you want to relax in a quiet area, this is a good park to stay at. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Park was off the road a ways so it was quiet. Restrooms & showers were very clean. Big patch of very green grass for the kids to play on. Sites are gravel pull through. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Pretty scenery. Spotless shower and bathroom. Lots of shade. Wi-Fi excellent for a park. Ice at $4 a bag is a bit high, but the camp is 10 miles from Lakeview. Would stay again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Our rate was based upon Passport America for 5 nights plus AAA discount for 2 nights. This park is about 10 miles west of Lakeview and sits in the middle of a working cattle ranch. Cattle are fenced out of the RV park. There are shade trees at all the sites. neighbors had no problems with satellite reception. no cable available. Wifi was good. Park in a beautiful setting with a reservoir nearby. Fishing is allowed without a license. interior roads are gravel but all sites are pull thru sites. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a small butcher/meat market in town (can't remember the name)with a small red sign on the highway (US 140). This is well worth a visit. They have fresh Oregon raised beef, small craft beers and a really good BBQ on Friday nights with your choice of Tri Tip, Chicken or Beef Ribs plus salads and tea. Also the visitors bureau is very helpful

A great outdoors location. VERY spacious between sites. Hiking trails and a lake for fishing available, as well as possibility of seeing cattle rounded up and moved. An open-air clubhouse is located centrally, where once the vacation season gets started, dancing, firepit and other activities are available. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a great place if you like the wide-open spaces. During the summer months (while school is out) the social aspect one can have camping is greatly enhanced. Music, recorded and/or live, dancing, potluck bar-b-q are all available. Lots of room between spaces, but with the circular formation (circle up those wagons, boys!), there is plenty of opportunity to meet your neighbors. Although we were there during the "shoulder" season, I suspect this is a popular place for hunters in the fall.

Great spot to relax, with a twist. The RV park is in the middle of a working cattle ranch. Large shade trees and we were told we could freely hike anywhere on this huge ranch. Very friendly laid back host. This is our second stay here and we just love the remote, slow paced feel. We will definitely be back. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This would be a 9+ park except for 2 minor issues. First, the positives. The hostess and maintenance guy are very friendly and super efficient. I've never seen a camp hostess work as hard as the young lady who checked us in. They keep the place in tip-top condition. The bathrooms and showers are among the cleanest and nicest I've ever seen at an RV park. The showers are spacious with lots of hot water and great pressure. Every space is a pull-through and has, at least, one shade tree and a picnic table. As a western landscape and wildlife photographer, the scenery is outstanding because it's inside an 8,000 acre working ranch. The hostess was kind enough to notify me when cowboys were preparing to round up cattle and drive them to another part of the ranch. I was able to make great photos. There are also eagles, osprey, deer, pronghorn, gophers, rock chuck, snakes, wildflowers and thousands of SCBs (small chirpy birds.) Two minor issues dropped my rating to an 8. First, the PA rate of $17.50/night is 1/2 the HIGHEST REGULAR RATE of $37 (also wrong on PA site) but does not include sewer even though it's advertised on Passport America as full hookups. The lower rate of $30/night is for electric and water only but includes free use of the dump. This is simply a matter of poor wording and can be easily cleared up. It didn't matter to me since we rarely connect the sewer hose but just dump when we depart. Second, they checked us in using a Wi-Fi tablet so their Wi-Fi must be working but I couldn't get any of our 6 devices to connect. I was told they're "working on it" since they have a new, shiny dipole antenna on the roof and I was getting a strong signal at my site. I'll give them the benefit of doubt and assume Wi-Fi will be working when I return in September 2014. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground in the middle of a working ranch. Dusty road going into the campground and, since it's high dessert, a bit windy. Beautiful grounds, trees at each gravel site. WiFi worked acceptably. Great gathering area for groups, lots of tables/chairs, and even has a piano. Watched an antelope in the early morning. If you like being away from it all, this is it. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A mile off the road through graveled well marked road, but well worth it! Host was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Fishing for free in a nice sized private lake nearby. Shade trees and graveled level sites. Would highly recommend this site if you are passing through Lakeview, Oregon. The alternatives don`t come close!
