Yes majority were permanent residents. Their sites clean and well maintained. It is an older park but clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and would stay again. We have a 31 ft motorhome with 2 slideouts. Site was fairly level and full hook-ups good. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shop before you stay there. There is a ice cream freezer but no real groceries.

Very friendly staff and large pull-thru sites with full hookups. Office wasn't open when we first arrived, but instructions were clear and had no trouble finding an open site. Some permanent residents which was not a problem. Hookups worked well and were well placed. Will probably come again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a trailer park with no amenities. We knew when we saw all the permanent mail boxes we were not in an RV park regardless of the name. Older trailers - some have hand-built additions. We back up to a busy highway that is noisy. Tiny strip of grass between us and neighbor. No room for a lawn chair. Orange cones must be used to protect our car and front of coach. Not even room for our awning. The "perms" appear to have nicer lots and room for two cars/trucks. They are very protective of their "yards." The pet area is gravel overgrown with weeds. We didn't want to encounter a snake so didn't use it. They will know we made this evaluation as we seem to be the ONLY actual RV in the park. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful little park in a rural/farming setting, but only 2 miles from town of Madras where all amenities were available. Very friendly, personable staff. Good electric (at very low rate), fast Wi-Fi, low-cost propane in park. Beautifully landscaped and maintained. And ideally located for exploring the area, from Mt. Hood in one direction to the John Day Fossils in another, and the Three Sisters in a third. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.
