13 Parks near Myrtle Creek, Oregon
Aug 2016 - $20.00
We came here to do some recreational prospecting, gold was small. The sites were great full hook, up Wi-Fi if wanted, walk to town, Frisbee golf course, walk to the Umpqua River, walk trail. Facilities were very clean the camp host was extremely helpful. Great experience for a small camp ground. - Dirtdigger 19
May 2015 - $20.00
Overnight stay. Lovely sites and area. Would be an excellent spot for a Mini gathering of RV's. Sites 3-8 may not get satellite thru roof top Satellite. Overnight only. - Gatorcq
Feb 2015 - $20.00
Very friendly and helpful host. The sites were level and clean and it's within walking distance from town. We would definitely stop again when traveling - close to I-5. - Tom Burge
Jul 2016 - $36.00
The owners and manager were very friendly and helpful. They live on site and are available easily. We originally were only staying 2 nights but ended using this as our base for traveling around the area. Our site backed up to the river. Beautiful large site. Nice private dock on river as well. My only negative comment would be that I could never get the WiFi to connect. - Nini03
May 2016 - $36.00
The park is beautifully maintained, with trees and flowers and landscaping, especially around the stocked fishing pond. It has large mouth bass, and koi, and probably blue gill. I caught a beautiful large mouth bass, probably at least 7 lbs on a plastic bait. What a thrill! The river beside the park is beautiful, as is the tree covered mountains that surround the park. It is off of I-5 by about two miles, which makes it quiet and peaceful. The little town of Winton is nearby. We have been here several times in recent years, and find new improvements with each return trip. - Donna Wagner
Aug 2015 - $25.00
We loved this park. It was very clean with a great location. Great river, mountain view and golf course what more can you ask for. Plenty of space between rigs with grass and trees. What I liked was you could not tell the the full time live-ins verses the overnight travelers. No junk laying around full timers RV's. - BSBren
Jun 2015 - $27.00
Stayed 4 nights. River runs along side of park but it is not scenic and there is only one difficult access point. Most spaces filled by junky looking long term rvs. There are about a dozen large pull through sites reserved for folks passing through. Easy Interstate Highway access. Quiet. No WiFi or cable. No antenna reception. - Bill and Pat
Jan 2015 - $26.00
Mostly full timers in this park. Right next to I-5 but not too much noise. Adequate for an overnight stay. - Rolling Stoners'
Aug 2014 - $26.00
Along the river and scenic. Near I-5 but not that noisy. Very friendly staff. Verizon cell and air-card worked well. Very reasonable weekly and monthly rates. We are 65' and fit easily in their pull-through sites. - Walkerl
Nov 2016 - $16.00
Great little campground. Price we paid was with our passport America.
The outer parameter was mostly permanent renters. Center is all fairly large pull thru's that were easy to pull into.
We were an after hours check in and they had instructions on wall and packets hanging with map, envelope, wifi password and batbroom/laundry pass code. Wifi was very good. We didn't use their cable TV. The place was very neat, clean and check in/out girl was very friendly.
Would stay again when we return to Oregon....the town has something I love too....covered bridges.
ATT phone had full coverage. - Victoria Grace
Oct 2016 - $17.00
Wifi is free and working perfect. Lots of HD stations on our antenna, free cable but we did not use it. Very quiet, convenient acces from the I5, but just far enough so you don't notice it. Lots of long stayers (permanent) but they save the middle pullthrus for the short stayers. Great place to relax for a few days. - Traveller Excel
Oct 2016 - $16.00
Extremely clean. Paved roadways. Clean, level cement pads and patios. Nice grass with picnic tables between sites. More room between campsites than many parks. Easy access. Very quiet. We didn't disconnect our toad the first night, plenty of room. Liked it so much stayed an extra night and explored the area which is beautiful! Propane available. Manager ice and helpful. Would definitely stay again. - Mjones
Jul 2016 - $35.00
I'm going to disagree with the previous reviews. We were in site 14. It was VERY sloped. The sites were fairly close. The freeway noise was very noticeable. There must have been some sort of rally or family reunion going on, because there were tons of people and they were constantly standing in the roadways, making getting to the site difficult. I felt like I was camping next to hillbillies. Towels and clothing hanging everywhere. Lots of drinking and noise, though just talking and laughing - no loud music. The instructions for checking in were self-service, and very unclear. The electrical service box was beat up. The numbers for each site were only painted on the ground, and were mostly faded. I would not stay here again unless I had no choice. - SeaTeacher
May 2016 - $25.00
Convenient as park is located right off I-5. We stayed in the older part near the day use area, from which there is a dirt trail down to the river. More sites are located down the hill, nearer to the river. The newer restroom building there was locked when we visited prior to Memorial Day. No view of Rogue River from the campground. - rvYoungster16
Sep 2014 - $23.00
Lovely campground. Nice long pull-through site. Trees for shade or pick site in sunshine. Would camp here again. It's just off the freeway but far enough away. - catrst
Nov 2016 - $38.00
This park is SO amazing - I cannot say enough good things about it.
We only went to the casino to get the free Players' Card that gives us a discount here and at the Seven Feathers gas station.
Power is great, all hookups are lit by a non-invasive yellow light so you don't have to fumble in the dark when you roll in late like we did. Sewer connection super easy to connect to, conveniently located.
The amenities are many: playground, a fenced in dog run, an indoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center with a TV, a lounge area, a gift shop, a lending library, two laundry facilities, showers and bathrooms, tables at every site, full hookups....
Beautiful creek to walk along, you're surrounded by 360° of GORGEOUS mountains, it's QUIET, everything is immaculately maintained. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they even have discounts on tickets for Wildlife Safari - I'm so glad I didn't buy that Groupon!
We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again, because this is a fantastic park in every way. Oh! They have recycling AND they use reclaimed water in their irrigation!
Of note, there are also some great places to get organic groceries not too far away. Promise Natural Foods is closest. When Promise is closed, Sherman Thunderbird in Roseburg is GREAT and has a huge selection. - chasmyn
Nov 2016 - $39.00
Amazing park. Loved it. Would highly recommend. Would have given it a 10 except that wifi was not great and we had need for it during our stay here. Park was extremely well maintained and clean. Fantastic indoor pool and hot tub. Well equipped workout room. Sites were large and had a small patio with table. - CindyK
Nov 2016 - $38.00
First space 26 allocated was flooded moved to space 38.
As usual this park is very good. The shuttle is a big bonus. Excellent craft beer selection at the Truck Stop in the cooler.
I always like to stop here. - Tonyl
Sep 2016 - $32.00
Stayed for 6 months while on a construction project. Park had just been sold to a non-rv'er from Portland, an investor type guy, well I soon found out this place was not to my liking even though I was gone 10 hrs per day. I didn't feel comfortable with the Camp workers all being busy all the time to impress the new owner. The park was really dirty with years and years of tree leaves that had not been picked up, the house was a mess with dust and black pieces of leaves. No WiFi, I had to pay Charter for that service, can't wash your car, but you can wash your RV, go figure that one. Cops were cruising through all the time - that was a little scary. Don't think I would come back to that place, something was really wrong there. - Jose2
Sep 2016 - $32.00
beautiful location.... spacious site.... great river setting... very very friendly staff. - ginger2you
Aug 2016 - $28.00
A very nice park, staff very helpful and friendly. Close to Wildlife Safari Park, which we enjoyed very much. The WIFI didn't reach our sight. River walk trails were very enjoyable. - snrstang
Aug 2016 - $35.00
Just across the highway from the Winston Wildlife Safari. Loved the dog park area! Host family was very friendly. It was SO hot we left a day early. - River Nana
Aug 2015 - $37.00
Was a bad experience from the get go, seems the new owner has a 20 year age limit on any RV, this includes 1 million dollar plus coaches. Once we got in past the BS of the owner the site we got was dried grass/weeds and dirt, not even gravel. Stayed one night, didn't even hook up and left the following AM. - George 102
Aug 2013 - $28.00
An older park with what appeared to be full time residents. The manager is a nice guy and shows you to your site. Residents seem to be friendly and quiet. Lots of pets in the park , but were leashed or kept inside. New High Efficiency laundry facilities which you could pay by debit/credit or coin, clean restrooms/showers. Gravel spaces, no green grass, but there was some grass between sites. Stayed for 2 nights. We chose this park as it was only 1.5 miles from the Wildlife Safari park. We would stay again if just passing through. WiFi wouldn't connect. - Jmjohnson
Jul 2012 - $20.00
Sites not level, sites not maintained, questionable persons wandering around. I would not stay here again. Self check in and payment placed into a collection box. Stayed in a 40' motorhome and only stayed here because it was close to a relative I was visiting. - sbrown
Jun 2011 - $20.00
Sites are wide open with nice grass between them. The sites are a little off level but the little gravel in the grass keeps any mud at bay. We arrived around 3:30-4pm and had a choice of 4 pull-through sites. The Camp Host offered free tickets to the museum. Unfortunately we were only stopping over night so couldn’t use them. - zen_letitbe
May 2011 - $20.00
A nice, quiet setting, with easily maneuverable sites. A good value. Showers were usable and fairly clean. A good location to see the area. Camp host was pleasant and helpful. - paxton
Aug 2014 - $14.00
This park has too many abandoned trailers and motor homes which make it look trashy. The pool looks clean though we did not use it. We picked a pull-through spot as we were only going to be here one night. The road to the park is a bit of a challenge should you meet another RV on the way in or out. This did not happen to us. The manager did his best to make the best out of a bad situation. If I needed a place to stay I probably would stay here again though I would look for a more modern place to stay. Maybe with Passport America they can generate enough revenue to do some fixing up on this place. The only really bad thing about it is the proximity to I-5. We parked in a ways from the freeway but we could still hear the noise. - Ted Morgen
Aug 2014 - $14.00
I wish I had read all the other reviews first, because there are all TRUE, what a dump. lots of trash in park, never did find the sewer, hard negotiating roads with a 40 footer. The sad thing is that you can see that at one time, maybe a decade ago, this was a nice park. They have the multiplex power posts ( had to kill the wasps in mine), Pool was clean but did not use it, the sites had at one time been delineated by wood edging and gravel, now hard to see, but still there. Apparently they used this as a music venue as there was a stage at one end of the park. We stayed her in a 40 ft MH, will not return, this park needs to be removed from PPA. - walt66
Sep 2012 - $16.00
This is the absolute worst campground we have ever encountered. It is trashy, the electric didn't work and it was full of vagrant types getting drunk. We got back into our motorhome and left back out on the dusty gravel road and it has take my husband 3 days to get the dust off. I've had to dust everything in the MH. Even $300,000 motorhomes leak when that much dust is blowing out from your diesel exhaust. We couldn't tell the color of our tow car. WARNING: Never ever go there. Shame shame on Passport America. - saintjamescity
