13 Parks near Myrtle Creek, Oregon
May 2015 - $20.00
Overnight stay. Lovely sites and area. Would be an excellent spot for a Mini gathering of RV's. Sites 3-8 may not get satellite thru roof top Satellite. Overnight only. - User3006
Feb 2015 - $20.00
Very friendly and helpful host. The sites were level and clean and it's within walking distance from town. We would definitely stop again when traveling - close to I-5. - Tom Burge
Aug 2014 - $20.00
Very nicer little city run park right off I-5. Very nice friendly host who made us feel welcome. Great NEW wifi was just installed the day before we got there and worked excellent. Clean restrooms. No TV but that's OK. Green grass, paved sites with tables. Would definitely stay here again! - rvtravelfanatic
Jul 2016 - $36.00
The owners and manager were very friendly and helpful. They live on site and are available easily. We originally were only staying 2 nights but ended using this as our base for traveling around the area. Our site backed up to the river. Beautiful large site. Nice private dock on river as well. My only negative comment would be that I could never get the WiFi to connect. - Nini03
May 2016 - $36.00
The park is beautifully maintained, with trees and flowers and landscaping, especially around the stocked fishing pond. It has large mouth bass, and koi, and probably blue gill. I caught a beautiful large mouth bass, probably at least 7 lbs on a plastic bait. What a thrill! The river beside the park is beautiful, as is the tree covered mountains that surround the park. It is off of I-5 by about two miles, which makes it quiet and peaceful. The little town of Winton is nearby. We have been here several times in recent years, and find new improvements with each return trip. - Donna Wagner
Aug 2015 - $25.00
We loved this park. It was very clean with a great location. Great river, mountain view and golf course what more can you ask for. Plenty of space between rigs with grass and trees. What I liked was you could not tell the the full time live-ins verses the overnight travelers. No junk laying around full timers RV's. - BSBren
Jun 2015 - $27.00
Stayed 4 nights. River runs along side of park but it is not scenic and there is only one difficult access point. Most spaces filled by junky looking long term rvs. There are about a dozen large pull through sites reserved for folks passing through. Easy Interstate Highway access. Quiet. No WiFi or cable. No antenna reception. - Bill and Pat
Jan 2015 - $26.00
Mostly full timers in this park. Right next to I-5 but not too much noise. Adequate for an overnight stay. - Rolling Stoners'
Aug 2014 - $26.00
Along the river and scenic. Near I-5 but not that noisy. Very friendly staff. Verizon cell and air-card worked well. Very reasonable weekly and monthly rates. We are 65' and fit easily in their pull-through sites. - Walkerl
Aug 2016 - $16.00
We were traveling through so only spent one night. Would have spent more if we had known what a nice park this was. Super nice people, great wifi - good enough to allow streaming video. Very clean showers and restrooms. - Chuckstr89134
Jul 2016 - $16.00
Very good value with Passport America. Transient sites are all pull-through 50 amp full hookups with cable on a concrete pad. WiFi was very good and site also had a picnic table. Washing RVs is allowed here. Great location on 99 (Old Pacific Hwy) between exits 103 and 106. Nicely kept grass separates the sites. Very quiet at night. Interior roads are a bit tight in the corners when a lot of vehicles are parked. We came in for 3 nights and spent 6. We would stop again. - Bob and Inga
May 2016 - $16.00
Awesome campground. Passing through the area and reserved for three nights, wish we were staying longer after seeing campground. Very well maintained campground. Cement pull through long enough for our 40 foot fifth wheel and F-250 pickup. Open office hours are limited but all our paperwork was in a packet on welcome board. Free cable tv and wifi. Laundry was very clean with extra large machines. All roads are paved and grass areas between sites mowed and well maintained. Really nice campground, highly recommend staying here if ever in the area. - Dedra C
Jul 2016 - $35.00
I'm going to disagree with the previous reviews. We were in site 14. It was VERY sloped. The sites were fairly close. The freeway noise was very noticeable. There must have been some sort of rally or family reunion going on, because there were tons of people and they were constantly standing in the roadways, making getting to the site difficult. I felt like I was camping next to hillbillies. Towels and clothing hanging everywhere. Lots of drinking and noise, though just talking and laughing - no loud music. The instructions for checking in were self-service, and very unclear. The electrical service box was beat up. The numbers for each site were only painted on the ground, and were mostly faded. I would not stay here again unless I had no choice. - SeaTeacher
Sep 2014 - $23.00
Lovely campground. Nice long pull-through site. Trees for shade or pick site in sunshine. Would camp here again. It's just off the freeway but far enough away. - catrst
May 2012 - $23.00
Nice clean campground. Shuttle to Seven Feathers Casino available. Very friendly camp hosts. One of the best county campgrounds we have stayed at. - cbor
Aug 2016 - $42.00
We did a on line reservation, upon arrival check-in was a breeze. They escort you to your spot. When you arrive if they are busy they have you form two lines to expedite the check-in process.
This is a absolutely well groomed and maintained park. Plenty of pull-through sites as well as back-in sites. For pet folks there is a fenced in dog area with sitting areas, we don't have a dog but noticed this area and it was very nice.
Nice play area for younger kids, the pool area is inside and very nice. Lockers, showers, including ADA. However, no lift for getting into pool or spa. Inside the pool area is also a reservable room for a group, as well as a fitness center with several treadmills, stationary weight machine and TV.
Nice concrete walking path completely around the park, very nice walking around looking at other RVs.
A shuttle for the casino comes through on a frequent basis. If you fuel at the Seven Feathers station there are two RV lanes in the same area as the trucks. Plus, if you have a Seven Feathers players card you get an additional discount on your fuel.
We used this stop for taking our grandsons to Wildlife Safari which was about 21 miles away. This is also a great place to stay for Crater Lake or Rogue River trips. The travel center has limited RV supplies as well as limited food mart. There is also a Burger King nearby.
Very enjoyable stay. During fire season they do not allow any open fires in the assigned BBQ areas or the fire rings sitting areas. No fire pits in the sites, only assigned areas. Plenty of places to walk, sit and watch.
This is a must stop place for overnight or for several days, we are already planning another stop at Seven Feathers RV. - Sherwolfe
Aug 2016 - $42.00
Once of our favorite Parks. Wife loves the landscaping, and the Casino across the Freeway.
Two different sewer spots per site which should accommodate MH and tow behinds. Was 96 F, 36 C, while we were here. Power adequate for our AC.
Others have said it all, would recommend the park to others and will stay here again if in the area. - Lemo
Aug 2016 - $45.00
This is our 3rd or 4th time here and this was our best experience. For starters, we had a pull through site that was the best site that we have had here. Previous sites were too tight and/or not level. All the roads are asphalt and the sites are cement. I find all the attractive plantings around the sites (that most people love) to be annoying and in the way. It appears to be about 50/50 between pull through and back in sites. There are several sections/loops to the park and all but one have their own bathhouse and/or laundry building. These facilities were modern and clean and, for a change, adequate for a park this size. There is a centrally located building with an indoor pool, hot tub, workout room, bathrooms, showers, and meeting rooms. Once again, the pool area was way TOO HOT. It was 85F outside and about 95F in the pool area. There were over 20 cable TV channels and our site was satellite friendly despite medium sized trees around the site. The WIFI worked fine for us - even after dark. Availability of satellite in many sites was questionable. In a few years, many more sites will no longer be satellite friendly. There is a group campfire area, a playground and walking paths around the park. The staff is young and pleasant but a bit lacking in knowledge about the park and area. There is recycling for bottles, cans, and plastic. - Jerry S
Aug 2016 - $28.00
A very nice park, staff very helpful and friendly. Close to Wildlife Safari Park, which we enjoyed very much. The WIFI didn't reach our sight. River walk trails were very enjoyable. - snrstang
Jan 2016 - $27.00
Rising River is very well maintained. There are many extended stay guests but they maintain a portion of the sites for travelers. Very nice area in general. Right on Route 99/42, so there is a fair amount of traffic noise. At present, there is a running waiting list for "Monthly Rate" sites and they do scrutinize RVs built year 2000 and previous. - Evenstevens
Nov 2015 - $34.00
Nice older property with friendly and helpful owners. Gravel site, long enough for our 60 foot rig. WiFi is pretty good, as is the analog cable TV. Verizon and AT&T data and cell coverage are good. - Ray Waugh
Aug 2015 - $37.00
Was a bad experience from the get go, seems the new owner has a 20 year age limit on any RV, this includes 1 million dollar plus coaches. Once we got in past the BS of the owner the site we got was dried grass/weeds and dirt, not even gravel. Stayed one night, didn't even hook up and left the following AM. - George 102
Aug 2013 - $28.00
An older park with what appeared to be full time residents. The manager is a nice guy and shows you to your site. Residents seem to be friendly and quiet. Lots of pets in the park , but were leashed or kept inside. New High Efficiency laundry facilities which you could pay by debit/credit or coin, clean restrooms/showers. Gravel spaces, no green grass, but there was some grass between sites. Stayed for 2 nights. We chose this park as it was only 1.5 miles from the Wildlife Safari park. We would stay again if just passing through. WiFi wouldn't connect. - Jmjohnson
May 2013 - $28.00
We only stayed one night but it was a pleasant and quiet stay. It was convenient location to the Safari which was the reason for our short trip. The park seemed to be mostly full time residents so it was very quiet and clean. The host was very friendly. - User3287
Jul 2012 - $20.00
Sites not level, sites not maintained, questionable persons wandering around. I would not stay here again. Self check in and payment placed into a collection box. Stayed in a 40' motorhome and only stayed here because it was close to a relative I was visiting. - sbrown
Jun 2011 - $20.00
Sites are wide open with nice grass between them. The sites are a little off level but the little gravel in the grass keeps any mud at bay. We arrived around 3:30-4pm and had a choice of 4 pull-through sites. The Camp Host offered free tickets to the museum. Unfortunately we were only stopping over night so couldn’t use them. - zen_letitbe
May 2011 - $20.00
A nice, quiet setting, with easily maneuverable sites. A good value. Showers were usable and fairly clean. A good location to see the area. Camp host was pleasant and helpful. - paxton
Aug 2014 - $14.00
This park has too many abandoned trailers and motor homes which make it look trashy. The pool looks clean though we did not use it. We picked a pull-through spot as we were only going to be here one night. The road to the park is a bit of a challenge should you meet another RV on the way in or out. This did not happen to us. The manager did his best to make the best out of a bad situation. If I needed a place to stay I probably would stay here again though I would look for a more modern place to stay. Maybe with Passport America they can generate enough revenue to do some fixing up on this place. The only really bad thing about it is the proximity to I-5. We parked in a ways from the freeway but we could still hear the noise. - Ted Morgen
Aug 2014 - $14.00
I wish I had read all the other reviews first, because there are all TRUE, what a dump. lots of trash in park, never did find the sewer, hard negotiating roads with a 40 footer. The sad thing is that you can see that at one time, maybe a decade ago, this was a nice park. They have the multiplex power posts ( had to kill the wasps in mine), Pool was clean but did not use it, the sites had at one time been delineated by wood edging and gravel, now hard to see, but still there. Apparently they used this as a music venue as there was a stage at one end of the park. We stayed her in a 40 ft MH, will not return, this park needs to be removed from PPA. - walt66
Sep 2012 - $16.00
This is the absolute worst campground we have ever encountered. It is trashy, the electric didn't work and it was full of vagrant types getting drunk. We got back into our motorhome and left back out on the dusty gravel road and it has take my husband 3 days to get the dust off. I've had to dust everything in the MH. Even $300,000 motorhomes leak when that much dust is blowing out from your diesel exhaust. We couldn't tell the color of our tow car. WARNING: Never ever go there. Shame shame on Passport America. - saintjamescity
