This is a beautiful rv park. There is a lot of landscaping, flowers, golf course and the river. Our space was nice and spacious with all of the necessary hook-up. We enjoyed the Koi ponds. There is also a catch and release Bass pond. We went down to the river to swim. It was pretty cold but felt good on the hot day. The park is quiet and the people friendly. I would definitely recommend it. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was a cute little park. Check-in was easy and very nice man. There are pull-throughs and back-ins. We opted for a back-in on the river. We had room to park our 43' motor home, Jeep, and motorcycle trailer. Gravel site and had stone wall to separate other site. Nice shade tree. Couldn't use satellite but they had cable hook up. Had a lovely large, grassy area behind us that had picnic table and fire pit. Short trail down to the river. Clubhouse and laundry room, we didn't use but looked nice. Also did not use the golf course. They keep the ground very manicured. Pond had catch and release policy. I could see large fish taunting me. There was also a koi pond. It looked like they have a lot of residents that are there for the summer. Everyone was nice and kept their places very neat. Would definitely stay again. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a quirky little RV park that we really enjoyed. We drive a 42 ft motorhome with a car in tow. We had enough room to maneuver through the park, in and out of our site. The site was well-maintained gravel and level enough. Great shade trees and some grass at each site with a small picnic table. We had enough room for our grill and chairs too. Only had 30 amp service and preferred 50 but still able to judiciously use our AC. Some train and interstate noise but minimal. Lots of seasonal/long term rentals but neat and orderly. We did not play the golf course as it was more like a natural setting minigolf and not well marked. You can walk down to the river but it's a fairly steep grade. Some of the facilities were clearly home-grown - ponds, irrigation, etc, but hook-ups were good and even wifi was adequate. It's a beautiful area with interesting things to do in Roseburg and Myrtle Creek (golf, outdoor concerts, pretty drives, nice restaurants). This is not a class A resort but we liked it and would stay here again. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Some sites do not have 50 amp, if you need this make sure you ask when you call for a reservation. The back in sites do have a "river area" view, however it was not as expected at least to us......the river is down a huge embankment, the sites do have a grass area behind them (nice for sitting), so the "view" is a ways off. The pull through's are in the center. The bridge for the 99 highway is close by and there are constant logging trucks going all day long....a short ways down the 99 is a huge lumber plant (probably the only thing keeping this area alive). The town of Winston is close for groceries and a few restaurants, it's got no "shops" to visit. There are a few wineries and the wildlife park to visit. Thai restaurant very good. So back to the RV resort (not), yes there is a small golf course that is very green and pretty, yes the trees and koi pond are very well kept, the scenery is pretty, it's Oregon. There are a lot of permanent renters on site, not a problem but when you walk the whole circle of the campground, some really old RV's in the back, which I'm sure the owners don't want you to see, lots of junk. There is a half torn down house in the back which I'm not sure it even belongs to the property....this houses one calf ("home of the Scottish Highlander Ranch?") in the run down front yard. Makes me sad to walk by.....poor thing. Then you look up and there are about 4 or 5 "trailers" parked in tandem on the hill-what a mess! The laundry room consists of 2 washers 2 dryers, old but ok. Did not look in shower area. You can walk dogs anywhere but on the golf greens. Wifi is tango-internet, you need to ask for a "coupon" when you pay, our cable TV connection was not good, I complained because it was a lousy picture, guy said oh maybe it's moisture and suggested I use the antenna (got perfect picture/sound), then he left. So bottom line; the website looks great & so does the brochure (same pictures)....just don't expect a "resort", it's not. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park. The river is only a few steps away. It's an easy walk unless you're handicapped. It has a catch and release fishing area, a separate golf course, club house, dog area, full hookups, everything a reasonable person could expect. We came in on the PA discount and they let us stay two nights instead of one at that rate. Very helpful sign-in process. I'd come again. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The owners and manager were very friendly and helpful. They live on site and are available easily. We originally were only staying 2 nights but ended using this as our base for traveling around the area. Our site backed up to the river. Beautiful large site. Nice private dock on river as well. My only negative comment would be that I could never get the WiFi to connect. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park is beautifully maintained, with trees and flowers and landscaping, especially around the stocked fishing pond. It has large mouth bass, and koi, and probably blue gill. I caught a beautiful large mouth bass, probably at least 7 lbs on a plastic bait. What a thrill! The river beside the park is beautiful, as is the tree covered mountains that surround the park. It is off of I-5 by about two miles, which makes it quiet and peaceful. The little town of Winton is nearby. We have been here several times in recent years, and find new improvements with each return trip. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We loved this park. It was very clean with a great location. Great river, mountain view and golf course what more can you ask for. Plenty of space between rigs with grass and trees. What I liked was you could not tell the the full time live-ins verses the overnight travelers. No junk laying around full timers RV's. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stopped here as it is a Passport America park. Great rate. A bit off of I-5 by several miles so no freeway noise. A warm, friendly welcome. Escort to sight. Had large pull through. Gravel. Minor front/back leveling needed. Good 50 amp, water/sewer. Tengonet internet Wi-Fi, so basically useless but 200 mb allowed per unit, per day so we didn't bother. No big deal as we use Millenicom-4 bars. Direct TV satellite from our site. ATT cell strong. Mostly year round residents here. Several apparently work various shifts as I heard vehicles coming and going throughout the night. While it did wake me up now and then. It wasn't obnoxious. Nicely kept groundsand ponds with fish. Fronts river. Tiny 6 hole, chip/putt golf course meanders inside the park. Didn't get around to using it, but could be a fun way to spend an hour. Would definitely recommend a stop here if you're running up or down I-5 and want an inexpensive and comfortable stay. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate paid is based on a one week stay. We liked this pretty and friendly little RV park. Roads are paved, sites are gravel and each site has a picnic table. Our pull through site had a fairly narrow strip of grass separating us from our neighbors but many of the back in sites had good site separation. Back in sites back up to the river or the tiny golf course. Lots of pretty grass and trees and flowers in the park and you can hike up the hill behind the RV park for great views and to see the Scottish Highlander cattle the owners keep! There seem to be quite a few long term residents in this park but every site was clean and well kept. We would stay here again. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very cute park. Sites easy to access. They allow access to their spotty Wi-Fi for three days and they restrict usage so we did not use it. Fun little Par 3 golf course in the middle of the park. Right on the river with a dock. Not really a park for kids. No bikes or scooters allowed. Very quiet and a fair number of permanent residents. Not far off of Interstate 5. We only stayed overnight. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park! It is river front and has a swimming dock. There is a 6-hole golf course that is fun and surprisingly challenging. Kids will enjoy the catch and release Bass Pond. The sites are level, shady and very pleasant. We stayed for three days and had a great time. We will definitely go back again. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park, pull through, picnic table at your spot. Right on the river. Very nice proprietor. Quiet, easy exit off I-5, quiet, nice little putting green and fishing pool. We stayed here 6 months ago, and will stay again if we are close by. We used Passport America rate. Wi-Fi comes with the price, and some satellite T.V. stations. Comfortable place to just relax for a day or two. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a park that is a bit worn around the edges but functioned well for us for one night. It is located on a river. For those who like that kind of thing It also has a fish pond and a small golf course. Our site was a bit muddy, as it had just rained, but the hookups worked fine. The cable TV and WI-Fi also worked. It was a pull-through site. Bathrooms were basic and relatively clean. The showers are pay showers at 25 cents for 4 minutes. The low rate was due to Passport America discount. We only stayed one night. Very nice host lady. Farther from the highway than we would have liked, but worked as a quick stopover. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
