The good: Great distance to a beautiful beach (15 min walk). Plenty of privacy, Nearby shopping in Newport with nice walking areas. Good price for full hookups. Nice atmosphere with friendly rangers. Very dog friendly (dogs allowed on beach and walking trails). Plenty of fun stuff to do around there. Check out the nearby lighthouse. It's gorgeous. The bad: Power was weak. I tripped the breaker multiple times even though I have used plenty of 30 amp sites so I know what I can and cannot use on 30 amps. Connectivity: Verizon very slow w/out booster. With booster, 3mpbs d/l. Att was strong. 3mbps w/out booster, 8 with. T mobile was not usable Lots of OTA channels coming in clear (major networks etc) We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Gorgeous Oregon state park just off the highway and a short walk to the beach. We were able to check in early and it was very easy. The main road through the park to the trailer sites is plenty wide enough and big enough. No wind in the back of the park even when the wind howls on the beach. Easy location to hook up power and water. No sewer at this site. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just North of Newport, OR. A popular shaded campground. Our site had electric and water (website said just electric). 15 OTA TV channels, weak Verizon cell phone service (had to go near the beach to make a call) and no WIFI. The park is across the road (Hwy 101) from the beach, but there's easy beach access going under the bridge. The park is wide and the further East from the beach the warmer it gets. Firewood and ice available. No recreation other than the beach. Average temperature in late June/early July was 63 F. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical Oregon State Park. Long walk to the beach area from our campsite (we were in last loop). Some damage on the nature trail from all the rains. Great family park. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

We had a nice site in E loop near the amphitheater. No activities at the amphitheater during our 3 night stay. Asphalt pad was recently re-paved so was very level. Hookups were all in good shape. Out site was full hookup. There are a lot of dry sites and there were a lot of tent campers in the park. We were pleasantly surprised at the large number of staff on duty and all we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Sheriff also patrolled the park couple of times a day. Not a a bad thing as the park was very peaceful. Nice access to the beach by paved trail under Hwy 101. We would stay here again. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Site B1, full hookups and cable, $32 53 full hookups, 75 electric and water, 128 tent sites, 21 yurts, hiker-biker camp. This is a state park campground right off 101 on the east side in a forest. There is a path from the B loop that goes under the highway to the ocean. Very short and easy walk. Nice beach and pet friendly. This campground is laid out in eight loops, many along a creek. There are some sites close together and others that have a lot of privacy. Sites that will fit all sizes of RVs. Very pretty walking around with tall evergreen trees throughout the campground. There is a nature trail and hiking trails leading out from this park. Welcome center staffed by hosts with information, wood, ice and coffee. Easy check-in. Rangers and hosts were very nice and informative. Whale watching is very popular in this area. Great stay on a beautiful day. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

This is an amazing park. Clean, great access to beach. Has yurts for guests who may visit. Staff is extraordinarily helpful. Has options for full hookups, water and electric and dry camping. Some pull-throughs available. Park is always pretty full so recommendations are best. A fair amount of space between sites in G and H loops. B loop is closest to the beach but cooler and windier. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed in the "C" area but now that we have seen and stayed at the campground we would love to stay in the "B" area, although I am sure they are booked way in advance. The shower was quite a distance from us. I loved the beach and you actually walk under the highway to get there. It is a short walk and the beach was great. We could not see the ocean from our site but there is a bit of a view if you are in the "B" area. Our sites were very wet and the fire pit unusable as it was surrounded by water. This is not their fault as it has been an unbelievably wet year. Our biggest issue was we went to check in (had made reservations on line) and although we were there during business hours all the windows were closed. We were there with two other couples and weren't quite sure exactly what we needed to do. A woman must have heard us talking as I said our names were on the roster and she opened a window and said something like you just need to fill out some form and she pointed to where it was and closed the window. It was very different from the excellent help we had at Fort Stevens. We then went to the sites and they were very, very wet. The campground was not overly full and we would have gone back and asked if there were 3 sites available together someplace a little less under water but we never saw the window open again that day. We did see several staff members over the next two days and they were all very nice but couldn't make up for the check in. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here during a three day rainstorm. The drainage is terrible and most of the park resembled a mud puddle. The asphalt pad was broken, uneven, sinking and falling apart. When we arrived at 1:30pm no one was in the check in building so we just went to the site we reserved. Twice my wife tried to flag down the women in the "park ranger" truck and the lady gave her some kind of hand signal while she drove by on her cell phone. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived without reservations at 1pm and many sites available this time of year. Pick a site and self register. All sites on the loops of all sections are back-in with full hookups including cable TV. Had good Verizon 4G. Access to ocean is under a beautiful highway 101 bridge. Our site as all sites are tree covered. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

This is a family and dog friendly "campground". (Not an RV Park for fancy RV "snobs".) The showers and restrooms were nice. Great Granddaughter loved the playground! There was a nice trail in the trees around the campground to walk the dogs. Access to a beautiful sunset on the beach was easy for all four generations. We plan to go back again asap. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Large campground nestled in the forest. Right off Highway 101 but very quiet. Paved and level sites with water and electric hookups. Dump station across the check in office. Sites are not too far from each other but the greenery makes for some privacy. The road through the campground is a little narrow especially when you drive through the loops left and right from the main road. We have towed our 34' fifth wheel through and managed. Now with a truck camper it's a breeze. Just take it slow and steady. This was our second stay at Beverly Beach SP but not our last one. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Truck Camper.

Very nice wooded park close to the beach, just a few minute walk from the A Loop. The shower facilities in the A loop also have individual unisex shower rooms which were very nice. We stayed in site A19, which is one of the few (if only) RV sites in the A loop. We stayed there because our friends were staying nearby in yurts. The site was extremely uneven, and getting backed into the site was challenging. I had to drive through the loop in the opposite direction to get a good back-in approach angle. I would not stay in A19 again, but I would go back to the park and stay in one of other loops that had bigger RV sites with full hookups (ours had no sewer). Like all Oregon State Parks, it's very child friendly. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Beverly Beach is just 10 miles north of South Beach State Park (both close to the beach), but they couldn't be more different. While spacing between sites may be similar, Beverly Beach has many more trees, so it feels more secluded, while South Beach seems like an open field. I would choose Beverly Beach over South Beach for my next trip.

We enjoyed this park even though it was busy and congested. Summer even during the week this would be expected on the coast. The park is mostly in tall pines. Loops start at the coast then go inland instead of along the coast. We stayed in G1. It was a bit open to the loop road on the patio side. The patio area receives afternoon sun. This site is almost as far from the beach as you can get. It's about a 20 minute casual walk to the beach. There are a couple of trails behind the campground that go from the farthest loops to the loops closest to the beach. If you really want to be close to the beach and don't mind close, back to back sites, the B loop is where you will want to be. B12 is prime real estate in this regard. Its patio has an ocean view through the 101 bridge. The Welcome Center has some interesting information and fun displays. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The parking area for Devil's Punchbowl, Mo's restaurant, and the Flying Dutchman winery is one mile up the coast from the campground. You can drive there. You can also walk along the beach, climb some steep stairs and get there. From the beach near the campground, it took us 50 minutes to walk along the beach to Devil's Punchbowl.

I agree with the review stating the park has seen better days. I had a site H26 which was a very tight spot that did not allow me to open my slides the entire way. The worst thing about my stay was the fact that I'm guessing because it was a Friday there were a lot of large extended families and friends and neighbors at adjoining sites making it a very busy area in addition to having kids riding around all day ( with plastic training wheels ). I would not stay here again. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.
