This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Beautiful trees and generous sites. We were in the B loop which is serviced including cable and is a short walk to the beach. This park is in a great area near Newport and Nye Beach. Many many things to do in the area. Note: My Verizon service was pretty much nonexistent but AT&T worked well. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

My favorite restaurant is Nanas Irish restaurant in Nye Beach. The Shepherds Cottage Pie is delicious! We like to sit outdoors as the seating inside of the restaurant is quite tight.

Overall Rating:

This is a large park with a combo of Full hook-up, Electric & Water, and no hook-up sites. There is direct, easy access to the beach from the campground via walking paths that lead under Hwy 101 with no dunes to climb. However, the campground runs from East to West and it is a pretty long walk to get to the beach from the most Easterly section of the park which is the newer section. The restroom/shower room in that section is brighter and more modern than the ones in the older section. We were near the front of the camp and used the shower room in D Loop. It is older, but adequate. The stalls are small but the water was hot and pressure was good. Most of the sites are heavily wooded so solar power would be sketchy and satellite probably wouldn't work either. If TV is important to you, though, some sites offer cable. Didn't try it so can't comment. Little to no data service and only spotty cellphone service was available on either Verizon or T-Mobile. There is also a nice nature trail through the woods around the campground. We've been to Beverly many times over the years and will probably come again primarily for the access to the beach. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Truck Camper.

Very quiet campground. Easy beach access and a nice nature trail. Was able to check in when we arrived at 1 PM even though official time was 4 PM. Some spotty T-Mobile coverage near the beach, No Service in F loop. Several OTA channels available but CBS was not consistent in F loop Had some issues with my power surge suppressor, it shutoff at least thee times per day on reverse polarity. The camp host indicated electrical work was being done in the park for water treatment upgrades so that might have been the cause. Will be back! We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great beach for dog to run on! Several fossilized seashells were embedded in the cliffs primarily to south of park. We found some on beach. Small tide pools on beach north of park if you walk to base of Otter Rock.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds on the Oregon coast. It is close to many other natural attractions and nearby shopping and restaurants. Most of the campsites are in a beautiful forested area, and the nature trail is scenic. You can walk to the beach and see a lighthouse on the horizon. Many of the sites are not level, and because you are in the trees, there is a lot of dirt and pine needles underfoot. Staff is helpful and the facility is clean. Many sites have bumps due to tree roots. I will return many times in the future, but reserve early in the year for weekends are crowded. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

A nice heavily wooded campground within walking distance to the beach. Site could have used a raking due to the small limbs and pine needles laying around. No satellite service due to the trees. Verizon service was weak. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is the best place to stay . Every Park Ranger is not only welcoming, friendly, informative but provide anything you could ever need to ensure your stay is the best you could have. It's very pet friendly. Has playground for kids and is safe for bike riding throughout the park. Yurts are clean and comfortable. Little store for forgotten items within walking distance of park. Easy check in, easy check out. Wood, ice on sight as well as an informative center with information of area, plant life and what animals you might witness while camping. Nice little gift area too. I would give this park a 10+ and recommend that is a must park to visit anytime of the year! Weather is great, rain or shine campsites are large, clean and within a short walking distance to beach. All the hosts are also very helpful and informative. I have not been to another campground that is as perfect as this one. If your wanting to stay one night or longer this is the park to stay. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park with a lot of trees. Loops A and B are closest to the beach, have 50amp service and cable available and are subject to Hwy 101 noise such as it is. Loop C had some cable available. Our site in C loop, the cable was of poor quality. The sites had plenty of room between them literally created in amongst the trees and natural undergrowth. The roads and site pad were asphalt but in most cases not very level. What you might expect in a natural setting. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great location next to the ocean. We had a short overnight stay on our way down Hwy 101 to California. Self check-in during the winter. We were able to get a spot in Loop B, closest to the ocean. Typical state park in that we felt like we had a lot of elbow room. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

The good: Great distance to a beautiful beach (15 min walk). Plenty of privacy, Nearby shopping in Newport with nice walking areas. Good price for full hookups. Nice atmosphere with friendly rangers. Very dog friendly (dogs allowed on beach and walking trails). Plenty of fun stuff to do around there. Check out the nearby lighthouse. It's gorgeous. The bad: Power was weak. I tripped the breaker multiple times even though I have used plenty of 30 amp sites so I know what I can and cannot use on 30 amps. Connectivity: Verizon very slow w/out booster. With booster, 3mpbs d/l. Att was strong. 3mbps w/out booster, 8 with. T mobile was not usable Lots of OTA channels coming in clear (major networks etc) We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Gorgeous Oregon state park just off the highway and a short walk to the beach. We were able to check in early and it was very easy. The main road through the park to the trailer sites is plenty wide enough and big enough. No wind in the back of the park even when the wind howls on the beach. Easy location to hook up power and water. No sewer at this site. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just North of Newport, OR. A popular shaded campground. Our site had electric and water (website said just electric). 15 OTA TV channels, weak Verizon cell phone service (had to go near the beach to make a call) and no WIFI. The park is across the road (Hwy 101) from the beach, but there's easy beach access going under the bridge. The park is wide and the further East from the beach the warmer it gets. Firewood and ice available. No recreation other than the beach. Average temperature in late June/early July was 63 F. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an amazing park. Clean, great access to beach. Has yurts for guests who may visit. Staff is extraordinarily helpful. Has options for full hookups, water and electric and dry camping. Some pull-throughs available. Park is always pretty full so recommendations are best. A fair amount of space between sites in G and H loops. B loop is closest to the beach but cooler and windier. Site B1, full hookups and cable, $32 53 full hookups, 75 electric and water, 128 tent sites, 21 yurts, hiker-biker camp. This is a state park campground right off 101 on the east side in a forest. There is a path from the B loop that goes under the highway to the ocean. Very short and easy walk. Nice beach and pet friendly. This campground is laid out in eight loops, many along a creek. There are some sites close together and others that have a lot of privacy. Sites that will fit all sizes of RVs. Very pretty walking around with tall evergreen trees throughout the campground. There is a nature trail and hiking trails leading out from this park. Welcome center staffed by hosts with information, wood, ice and coffee. Easy check-in. Rangers and hosts were very nice and informative. Whale watching is very popular in this area. Great stay on a beautiful day. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

We had a nice site in E loop near the amphitheater. No activities at the amphitheater during our 3 night stay. Asphalt pad was recently re-paved so was very level. Hookups were all in good shape. Out site was full hookup. There are a lot of dry sites and there were a lot of tent campers in the park. We were pleasantly surprised at the large number of staff on duty and all we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Sheriff also patrolled the park couple of times a day. Not a a bad thing as the park was very peaceful. Nice access to the beach by paved trail under Hwy 101. We would stay here again. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.
