Very clean; paves; spacious sites; good utilities; good cable TV; spotty WiFi but free when it worked. Very dog friendly with a fenced, grassy off-leash area - complete with doggie bags and trash receptacle - Nice! Courtesy shuttle to nearby, walkable casino, and for other businesses in town. Excellence value for the facilities. There is also a dry camping area next to it. There is some road noise from Highway 101, but can't complain! We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Stayed at the gravel parking lot near their RV park. You are required to check in at the RV Park and pay a $15 charge for anyone staying overnight in the parking lot. The lot is level and the shuttle to the casino runs close by but the walk is short too. They allow you to use the RV parks restrooms, showers, dump station, water and wifi.

The explanation is that the charge keeps out the homeless and those who would live in the parking lot. It is a popular place and we have been coming here for years before they started charging to camp in the parking lot. They did use to have people in broken down rigs living in the parking lot. I think security could take care of that but the $15 charge seems to do the trick as well as bring in more money.

I've never seen any security which would be nice. In the summer on the weekends the parking lot can be very full. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Our favorite place to eat is the Warehouse 101 bar in the casino. There is a no smoking. Ocean in 30 minutes. Shore Acres State Park has a Rose garden and view of the ocean. Enjoy crabbing in Bandon off the pier or tour the Coquille River lighthouse at Bullards Beach State Park.

Shopping for groceries or other items can be done at Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, Safeway.

This is our second year in a row (maybe 5th time overall) staying here. My review of 8/15 gives a fuller description of the park facilities. We had a pull through, FHU site in the middle of the north end of the park. Most sites (60+) are pull through with about 30 back in sites on the north, west, and south perimeters of the park. There is dry camping in a gravel lot to the west. Roads and sites are asphalt (NOT concrete as a previous reviewer stated). The PT sites are long enough for most rigs to stay hooked up but the asphalt is wide enough for parking the toad next to the RV. The BI sites are also paved wide enough for side by side parking of the toad. Many sites appeared to be using extra blocks and we needed one board to level. All sites have 30 channel cable TV. All the PT sites appear to be satellite friendly, but some of the BI sites may not be. The WIFI was bad at first but it eventually worked well enough for our minimal (e-mail and surfing) needs. It slowed but continues to work after dark even though the park was full. The modern bathrooms, showers, and laundry are in the same building as the office. Except for some horseshoe pits on the bay side of the park, there is nothing recreation available in the park. There is a small indoor casino hotel that is available to RV customers. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I saw several recycling bins but, the way they were labeled, it was unclear as to whether or not they accepted plastic. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here a number of years ago and the park is still the clean nicely groomed park it was back then. We had a back in space which costs less. The hookups are as they should be. The asphalt pad is large enough to park our Jeep with room to spare. The casino is the same; I still lose! The food in the buffet is absolutely awful. Don't bother with that. We would stay here again for a couple of nights. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eleven years ago we stayed at the Mill Casino. At that time it was dry camping and it was free. They have now built an RV park and continue to provide dry camping. We recently stayed five days in the RV park, but the holiday weekend prevented us from getting the final two days. So we decided to move to dry camping for those two days. I have multiple ratings for this casino and RV park. I would rate the RV park at least an 8. The rates were fair for the season and location. We were on a concrete pull thru site that was large enough for the motorhome and car. The wifi was terrible. It was incredibly slow which was very frustrating. The office staff would rate a 10. The dry camping area is a big gravel lot. We see no value in having to pay $15 per night to dry camp. The 'sales pitch' that the rate offers showers, laundry, restrooms, is bogus for us RVers who have self contained units and use none of those 'benefits'. It is greed that drives the casino owners to charge RVers to dry camp. So I would rate the dry camping part of the RV park a zero. Overall, I can only give this RV park a rating of 4. I would suggest the RV park, but avoid dry camping. Go elsewhere for that. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our first stay at a casino rv park. It was much like we imagined: clean, modern, good layout, fair price. But it also had drunks coming home late from the casino and being loud as drunks tend to be. Also, be aware that this located on Coos Bay and while you get a Bay view, you also get the constant 24 hour hum of diesels on the transfer docks nearby.

Might stay here again. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great as usual. Their wifi has improved since our last stay, The staff is polite and professional. The free shuttle service to anywhere in Coos Bay or North Bend is great. There is some road noise from nearby highway 101, but it quiets down at night and never keeps us awake . Sites are super level with good hookups. Sites have foliage between them and are wide enough to park our trailer and truck side-by-side. We really appreciate a professional RV park, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in this area. Like the other reviewers this park is very adequate for a short or long stay. The sites are well defined and big enough. Wifi is good. Better than most places we've been over the last two months. Well located. North Bend has almost everything a person would need and is easy to navigate. We don't gamble so have no insight on that. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a back-in located on the West side of the park. We had concerns about road noise, but we had no problem. Site#36 is level, wide enough for slide outs and awning. There is a shuttle both on call and continuous trips to the Casino or close-by restaurants. A hotel hot tub and swimming pool at the Casino is available to park attendees. The WiFi is adequate, except when people use the service for streaming. We have stayed at the park many times and enjoyed our stays. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This used to be a really great deal because it was about half the price. It's still a good RV park -- relatively new facilities, good laundromat, restrooms and showers, shuttle to the casino for restaurants, the pool, and if you're into gambling, the casino. The staff are really accommodating and go out of their way -- you can even get the shuttle to take you off-site. The restaurants have good deals, but we were disappointed by the food. (We were there for a $7.99 buffet that really wasn't worth it. And the $4.99 breakfast deal wasn't all that good either.) If you're not into gambling and are there for other reasons (beaches, birding, history) this may not be the best place. I give it a high rating because it's reliably clean, friendly, and has good amenities, but we will probably try some place else next time. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are traveling up the Oregon Coast along Hwy 101 and you find yourself at a stopping point in Coos Bay, this is the place to stay. Easy in and out of the park, located along the bay, and easy walking distance into the casino. The front desk people were very helpful and explained all the features of the park and the local town. Very clean restrooms and showers inside the main building. A small area for trinkets and drinks/snacks. Very quiet, could hardly hear the traffic on HWY 101. Reservation and reception was easy and pleasant. Asphalt paved roads and sites. The sites are wide allowing room for patio, picnic table, and parking. Our site was level side to side. Slope at front of site corrected with landing gear. Plenty of space for awning and slides. Park is built to maneuver big rig. The park is landscaped with grass, ground cover and small shrubs. It has a spacious dog run. The Mill is next to the bay where ocean ships can pass by the park. Bathroom and laundry are tiled, clean and modern. Pool and spa at the hotel were closed for maintenance. Wifi was good. We used it after 10pm. Cable had good selection of cable and local stations; plus Comcast Sports Network Bay Area. We will be back. The property is located on a river and on the site of a former lumber mill hence the name. Checking in was easy, very friendly staff. We opted for a riverfront site. Although there was afenced undeveloped area between our site and the river we had an an amazing view. Our site was pull through but crowned in the middle. As such, leaving my tow attached would have required leveling blocks in front. Staying for only a night I unhitched and parked the my rv in the middl of the site. The utilities worked fine. There is a shuttle that will pich you up and take you to the casino. We had a nice casual dinner at their sports bar. We'll return. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here twice while traveling the Oregon coast: One night on the way south and (unexpectedly due to our first RV park choices being fully booked) our last night on the coast. The "normal" rate is around $50. We paid a little more than that the first night for a bayside site that was the only pull-in in the middle of 2 dozen bayside pull-through sites. I think we were given that site because we are "only" 32' and don't tow." The 30 or so sites farthest from the bay and on the perimeter are back-in while the rest (except for my #88) are pull-through. All are FHU with are 30 channel cable TV and a 802.11 network that met our needs Most sites appear to be satellite friendly. The second night a few days later they gave us a $20 discount for an interior pull-through. The main problem I had with our sites was that, for paved sites, they were not very level. It wasn't just my sites - I saw many RVs up on blocks. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry are in the main building and are all modern, large, and clean. All there are a couple horseshoe pits on the bayside, there is nothing recreational in the park. You do have access to the casino hotel pool and workout room. There is also a large boon-docking parking area next to the RV park. Per previous reviews, this cost $15. There was a large dumpster for recycling that evidently took everything except glass. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.
