This used to be a really great deal because it was about half the price. It's still a good RV park -- relatively new facilities, good laundromat, restrooms and showers, shuttle to the casino for restaurants, the pool, and if you're into gambling, the casino. The staff are really accommodating and go out of their way -- you can even get the shuttle to take you off-site. The restaurants have good deals, but we were disappointed by the food. (We were there for a $7.99 buffet that really wasn't worth it. And the $4.99 breakfast deal wasn't all that good either.) If you're not into gambling and are there for other reasons (beaches, birding, history) this may not be the best place. I give it a high rating because it's reliably clean, friendly, and has good amenities, but we will probably try some place else next time. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cape Arago drive is great--Whale watching from some of the lookouts; Sea lions, seals and elephant seals on Shell Rock; Sunset Beach; Bastendorff Beach; Charleston for seafood; South Slough Estuary for walks, birding.

If you are traveling up the Oregon Coast along Hwy 101 and you find yourself at a stopping point in Coos Bay, this is the place to stay. Easy in and out of the park, located along the bay, and easy walking distance into the casino. The front desk people were very helpful and explained all the features of the park and the local town. Very clean restrooms and showers inside the main building. A small area for trinkets and drinks/snacks. Very quiet, could hardly hear the traffic on HWY 101. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Reservation and reception was easy and pleasant. Asphalt paved roads and sites. The sites are wide allowing room for patio, picnic table, and parking. Our site was level side to side. Slope at front of site corrected with landing gear. Plenty of space for awning and slides. Park is built to maneuver big rig. The park is landscaped with grass, ground cover and small shrubs. It has a spacious dog run. The Mill is next to the bay where ocean ships can pass by the park. Bathroom and laundry are tiled, clean and modern. Pool and spa at the hotel were closed for maintenance. Wifi was good. We used it after 10pm. Cable had good selection of cable and local stations; plus Comcast Sports Network Bay Area. We will be back. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Shore Acres State Park, Dunes, the casino buffet featured prime rib, etc.

The property is located on a river and on the site of a former lumber mill hence the name. Checking in was easy, very friendly staff. We opted for a riverfront site. Although there was afenced undeveloped area between our site and the river we had an an amazing view. Our site was pull through but crowned in the middle. As such, leaving my tow attached would have required leveling blocks in front. Staying for only a night I unhitched and parked the my rv in the middl of the site. The utilities worked fine. There is a shuttle that will pich you up and take you to the casino. We had a nice casual dinner at their sports bar. We'll return. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is located on the bay with nice views of the water. The sites are long and reasonably wide. all the roads and sites are paved. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have shuttle service to the casino. Room for big rigs, easy to maneuver. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here twice while traveling the Oregon coast: One night on the way south and (unexpectedly due to our first RV park choices being fully booked) our last night on the coast. The "normal" rate is around $50. We paid a little more than that the first night for a bayside site that was the only pull-in in the middle of 2 dozen bayside pull-through sites. I think we were given that site because we are "only" 32' and don't tow." The 30 or so sites farthest from the bay and on the perimeter are back-in while the rest (except for my #88) are pull-through. All are FHU with are 30 channel cable TV and a 802.11 network that met our needs Most sites appear to be satellite friendly. The second night a few days later they gave us a $20 discount for an interior pull-through. The main problem I had with our sites was that, for paved sites, they were not very level. It wasn't just my sites - I saw many RVs up on blocks. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry are in the main building and are all modern, large, and clean. All there are a couple horseshoe pits on the bayside, there is nothing recreational in the park. You do have access to the casino hotel pool and workout room. There is also a large boon-docking parking area next to the RV park. Per previous reviews, this cost $15. There was a large dumpster for recycling that evidently took everything except glass. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects the dry camp lot. We arrived during the 4th of July weekend, the RV park itself was full, but they have a large gravel parking area for dry camping at minimal fee. The fee gets you access to the bath/showers/laundry as well as free shuttle service. Well run, well maintained, friendly staff. Easy access right on Hwy 101. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Casino, ATV dunes area, state parks, waterfalls, all nearby.

Rate is discounted rate for frequent players and included full hookups. This has become our favorite stop when traveling through the area. The staff and check-in is more like a hotel than an RV Park, and you pay at checkout. Discounts are offered for dining at the casino. All paved interior roads and sites, both back-in and pull-through, and most have a view of Coos Bay. Hookups are convenient and the cable TV worked well. Wi-Fi worked sporadically depending on time of day, and Verizon cell/4G was strong. No obstructions to rooftop satellites. A very well maintained and professionally operated park; we'll return again. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This adult oriented park caters to gamblers or tourists - no family oriented amenities. Very attractive and well layed out. However, sites are not as level as they should be considering how new it is. Streets and pads are blacktop. Sites are spacious with small strips of young shrubs dividing them. Staff is friendly and eager to please. Wifi is free but very slow. 50 amp service is reliable and water pressure is strong: 70 psi. Easy access and close to area attractions. We enjoyed our stay here. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was our second visit. Everything about The Mill RV park is first class. It is waterfront, on the bay and central to everything in North Bend and Coos Bay. The check-in is easy to park for, and fast. The employees are super friendly. They sell propane on-site. The park is clean and very well maintained. Their free shuttle will take you not only to their nearby casino (also well done), but anywhere in town you want to go. That is worth the cost of the space rent all by itself. The paved sites are wide and generally level. The only draw back in this first-class park is third class wi-fi that was slow with erratic never getting over 5 mbps, and was usually moving at a snails-pace 1 mbps. With all the effort they put in to the rest of the park, I wish they would fix this important service, too. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss Sunset Beach and nearby Shore Acres botanical gardens south on Arago Highway.

Other reviews point out the features well. Clean, efficient check in, sites a bit narrow. Just fine for a day or two. As advertised this is certainly an RV park and not a campground.

Cable TV and WiFi - both excellent. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice large RV park adjacent to the casino. Long pull through sites, with full hookups. A little close together. There are bay front sites, but there is no access to the bay. It was very full and we were able to reserve only 2 nights. This is not like staying in the beautiful Oregon state parks, but it was nice for a couple days to see the area. It was pretty foggy and windy when we were there, so we were unable to sit outside. No tables. There is access to the pool and jacuzzi at the hotel. They do provide shuttle service. There is a large parking lot for dry camping as well, if you are unable to get in the park. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.
