Arrived on Friday morning of Labor Day weekend and asked to park our 5th wheel in the overflow as I was taking my wife to the hospital ER (also asked for and was given excellent directions), wasn't sure if we would be staying or not. The clerk was quick to give me instructions, said she would notify security of my situation if I didn't get back to her before closing time. Stayed 2 nights in the over flow for $20.00 with access to filling my water tank, dumping, bathroom & shower. Managed to get a pull through site on a nightly basis and did not have to move. We were waiting to make phone calls to our doctor and get records from the hospital, staff was very accommodating to our situation. We have stayed here several times and will continue to return. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week for a motor coach rally. We had a 2nd row pull-through site. It was very nice, good solid hook-ups, all paved with small shrubs separating the sites. Plenty of distance between the sites. We arrived a day prior to the start of our reservation and we had to day in dry camping, which is basically just a big gravel parking lot. Well kept, cut still gravel. They charge $20 for a dry site, but give you access to all the facilities like bathrooms, shower, laundry wi-fi etc, so that seems like a fair deal. Our FHU site was clean. Good Wi-Fi and good Verizon coverage. The casino is walking distance, if that is your thing. Or. you can take the free shuttle. In fact, the casino shuttle will take you into town and pick you up as well. Very nice laundry and shower house. Some of the sites are water front, but to be honest, it is just looking at the inland bay and there is a lot of walking pet traffic in front. I recommend saving a fee $ and take a second row site, we could see the water just fine. Great place to ex-plore the middle south Oregon coast. We would stay here again. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent campground with good power, water and sewer. Fully paved and level site. We had water front lot and enjoyed watching ships come up the channel. Casino restaurants are convenient with shuttle picking you up at your campsite and deliver you right back there. Shuttle will also take you to local businesses and pick you up. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This review is for the dry camping area next to the RV Park. It still cost $20 to dry camp but that allowed us to use the bathhouses and laundry which were clean and modern. We were also allowed to dump the tanks at a sewer connection in an empty site in the morning. The dry lot is gravel and very large and level so there was lots of space for the many RVs camped there. There is a frequent shuttle to the casino but it is a short walk. The campground looked very nice but the prices were $45 - $65. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is situated within walking distance of casino, adjacent to the ocean, with shuttles available. Are we RV people "born to lose"? Busy, very smoky casino. Nice walking path around park with small enclosed off leash dog area. People with small dogs leaving their pet deposits lying around without bothering to pick up even though their are bags and refuse barrel provided. Is it any wonder RV dogs seem less welcome all the time? Sites are spacious with excellent cable TV and wifi. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Rate is with player's club card and also included a $10/day dining coupon. This park is our preferred stay in the area; the access is easy, check-in is always professional, and the sites are nicely landscaped and generally level. Our pull-thru site gave us an unrestricted view of the bay, and we watched as large ships were maneuvered for docking nearby. Verizon cell/data was very good, but the park WiFi was generally unusable even with a lightly-populated park. The cable TV is analog and of poor quality, but there are a number of OTA channels and satellite coverage is unrestricted. A free shuttle runs between the park and nearby casino but can also be used for a ride downtown. Easy access for propane on-board tanks but expect to pay a higher charge for the convenience. Good security in the park. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The casino has a good coffee shop (Timbers Cafe), an above average buffet, and upscale restaurant that is good for breakfast. Take advantage of discounts/perks by getting a player's club card. There's a very good Safeway next to the rather pathetic mall, and a large, always busy Wal-Mart up the street. The new Coos History Museum is very nice, the Charleston Marine center is worth a trip, and the views from the Cape Arago Highway and Shore Acres park are magnificent.

The park was clean. I wasn't impressed with the staff who gave us an upgrade next to the dumpster. Cell service is a bit difficult. Overall a fair place except the pads are quite narrow. Our slide out was only a foot away from our neighbor. We were both in our proper spots. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Terrific, friendly, helpful service upon entering. Nice to feel welcome. The site was plenty long for our 40-footer and car trailer. Level. Bathrooms were soooo clean. We took the shuttle to the casino for the buffet. Surprisingly good. Views across the water were wonderful. Wi-Fi worked great. Nice place to stay. Easy to get to everything. We chose this park simply because it had a nice view of Coos Bay, otherwise we don't usually spend this much. The park was easy to get into, and out of, and the sites were well maintained, level and well appointed. Although they advertised trash pickup at your site, both times I put out bags, they sat there all day and well into the evening (ended up walking it over myself...no big deal but, at this price, if you say you have pickup...well.) We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Shore Acres State Park and walk their Estate Gardens: truly stunning. Walk along the edge of the cliff to the small, enclosed viewing platform. Just beyond the entrance to Shore Acres is a scenic overlook to view sea lions on the rocks below. If you're in town on a Wed, visit the Farmers Market. It's one of the finest we've seen (lots of mushroom vendors!).

We were able to book this at the last minute which was a life saver for us! We were lucky and got a spot with a little bit of grass, but we backed to the parking lot where there was dry camping and people running generators all night. The casino is on Highway 101 so there is lots of road noise. They did have a nice grassy area where we were able to play with the dog, which is a huge bonus for us. It was fun to checkout the casino - but neither of us like to gamble, so not enticing enough for us to stay there again. We weren't able to get a spot for the last night before our trip, so we dry camped in the parking lot (our first time bookdocking) and it was LOUD! But we survived :) We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is next to the casino, a little packed in. The shuttle was really nice and the grounds were well maintained. Staff was helpful and courteous. The site is next to the highway and two working log mills, so I wouldn't say it was quiet. The wind blew hard every day, sometimes shaking the rig. Curbside trash pick up was very nice. For most of the past 12 or so summers, we have usually spent about a week on the Oregon coast. It did not dawn on me until after we hit the road in late June, that the "Great Eclipse" would cause a problem getting a RV park site around 8/21 on the coast. We were able to get in here for one night a few days before the event. See my August, 2016 review for a more detailed description of the park. We had a FHU, pull-through site with cable TV and Wi-Fi that worked fine until dark. There is a shuttle to the casino but it is only a 5-10 minute walk away. There isn't much to do in the RV park, but the casino hotel pool is available to RV customers. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.
