Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The only real reason to go here is the location. It is right across the road from the beach at Cape Kiwanda and the Pelican Brewpub. The camp is OK but overpriced in my estimation with the "gotcha" $11 registration fee (even for one night) and the $5/day fee per dog. Didn't use the facilities. There are showers but they use quarters. The grounds are kept clean and there is decent Verizon and T-Mobile service. There are only about 6 "RV" spots with hookups although many of the other "tent" sites would accommodate small to medium size rigs. There is a market next door at the fancy RV park that has a decent selection of stuff but prices are very high. You're better off bringing your supplies with you. The Pizza restaurant next door has pretty good pizza. Cars are allowed to drive on and park on the beach and it was an absolute zoo when we were there on Father's Day weekend. Dozens upon dozens of cars taking up all the beach space in front of the pub and a zillion people all over the place. Not what I've come to expect from most Oregon beaches. If you are looking for quiet and nature this is NOT the place to camp. We camped at Webb County Campground in a Truck Camper.

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Right across the street from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Note the first night is $38, each night after that is $27 (October). Lots of rabbits so watch your step! We camped at Webb County Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tillamook Cheese Factory is short drive up the coast. Lighthouses abound, get out and drive the coast.

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is for a dry site. Pretty steep for a gravel on grass site without any privacy. But it is just a short walk across the street to the beautiful beach and it's quiet at night. The water from the tap was awful. Plenty of chlorine. Lots of rabbits around.

Next time we'll find some less expensive place to stay in the area. We camped at Webb County Campground in a Truck Camper.

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Infested with rabbits (literally). Fairly noisy, as there is a large community of fisherman a lot of whom think its OK to flush out their outboards at 5am or 9pm. The park next door is a lot of permanent RV sites. Camp hosts were not very effective. We would not go back here.

The price includes a one time $11 transaction fee.

This park is a little difficult to find as there are no signs on the road and its adjacent to a larger commercial RV park (Seascape). Follow signs to Seascape and take a left before the fence and then keep going past building to get to park entrance. We camped at Webb County Campground in a Travel Trailer.
