As others have said larger vehicles are somewhat of a problem in the full hookup sites. But, very manageable. The sites are wide and well laid out we were in #11. The maximum stay is 7 days. But, if there is room you can just move to a different spot for the next 7 days. Lots and lots of trees so no wifi, no satellite. We have T-Mobile and could only get a signal away from the campsite. Everything else worked very well. The campground hosts were Lori and Tom. They are hard workers and really keep all reservations and the sites in good shape. For a very restful stay give it a try. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great campground! All area's are cleaned each day by the camp-hosts. Nice quiet park. Big rigs over 40' can be a challenge, but will work. LOTS of trees, so not a good place for satellite tv. No wifi. Verizon & AT&T work with about 2-3 bars in this area. Full hook ups in what is called the RV LOOP only. The rest have power and water, but there is a dump station for campers to use as part of the payment. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Hood River is 15-20 minutes away. Small town of Parkdale is 1 1/2 miles with a grocery store and a couple restaurants. No hiking trails in the park though. The East Fork of the HOOD RIVER runs through the park with LIMITED ACCESS.

Overall Rating:

We love a park like this. Beautiful hidden gem half way between Hood River and Mt. Hood. RV sites with FHU and separate tent loop. There's 2 loops with partial hook ups and some sites on the rivers edge. Quiet and peaceful. Nice place for families. No hiking trails in the park but tons of trails for both hiking and mountain biking in the area. Camp hosts very helpful and deliver firewood to your site! We have both Verizon and AT&T and get enough bars to stream. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Cute little town, Parkdale, has good small grocery with a deli and there is a brew pub and BBQ place. Also a small museum and incredible views of Mt. Hood!

Overall Rating:

We stayed for 4 nights and loved this RV park. The sites are far enough apart, with large pine trees throughout, and a river running through the park. We could not get a TV signal, but that was OK, there is so much beauty to see in the area you don't need to be in your RV! We will come back to this park. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is an absolute gem. It's a bit tight for big rigs, which ours is, but the setting is just gorgeous, and the full hookups (50 amp, water, and sewer) all worked well. Hosts were super friendly. Playground for the kids. Convenient to Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. We'll definitely be back. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed a week at a full hookup, back-in site. There were 2 camp hosts visible. Hosts were helpful with maps and trail information. Nice park with paved internal roads and paved level pads. Our site was surrounded mostly with dirt and dry grass but some sites had much more grass. Most sites were under and surrounded by trees. We had one of the few sites open to the sky. All full hookup sites are back-ins. Some partial hookup sites are pull-throughs but they're in another loop.

Verizon data and hotspot was practically non-existent. My cell was always roaming so we went into Hood River for Internet. No cable, no laundry. Water pressure was strong. No off leash dog park but plenty of places to walk dogs. Hookups were near the middle. Sites were spacious and included fire pits and picnic table. Their website has a map with the pad sizes of the different sites so if you have a large rig, print out the map to pick a site that will fit your rig. We noticed that the longest pad was always reserved. Self check-in only using the envelope system. Pay by check into a box, no debit/credit cards accepted. Hosts do not accept payment. Quiet park at night. Good place to disconnect and relax. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty park, but the camp hosts are rude and the price of a stay is too high for an affordable family outing. There are a few very nice waterfront sites. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Don't be fooled by the river being nearby. It's way too cold and fast for recreation.

Overall Rating:

A Hood River County owned and managed campground with 80 sites in 4 camping loops. 20 sites have full RV hookups, 40 sites have water and electric, 2 sites are for tents. There are 3 group tent sites. This is a forested area with lots of old growth cedar pines and many other types of trees and bushes. Open from April 1 to October 31 every year. There is a 14 day limit. They do take reservations. Campground hosts are on site. The fees are $18 for tent sites, $20 for electric/water sites, $22 for full hookups and $25 for the 5 sites on the river with water and electric. The only reason this place doesn't get a ten is poor Verizon reception and no satellite access due to trees. We camped at Toll Bridge Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
