We have been here a number of times in the past including last summer. We had a fairly level, pull through, FHU site. The 50 or so perimeter sites are back in and 50 or so interior sites in 8 rows are pull through. There are also tent sites, group camping , a "TiPi" village for rent. There was a large group camping in tents and using some of the rental "TiPi"s which put some stress on the bath facilities. The bath and shower facilities were inadequate. The roads and most of the RV pads are asphalt. The non-asphalt pads are dark, crushed rock. There is no cable TV but most sites are satellite friendly. The sites are a decent length and width with some grass/weeds between sites. All the facilities (the office, bathrooms, showers, and a 8 machine laundry) and amenities (pool and spa) are in or next to the main building. The WIFI worked OK for us, but did slow a bit in the early evening. The staff I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I saw no sign of recycling. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an older park. Doesn't mean that it's bad, just that for the price they charge, which I think is on the high side for casino park camping, they should have a cable package. Pull through sites are on the short side but manageable, and the sewer is all the way to the back which, if you're pulling a small trailer or car, you don't want to unhook. You are probably going to have to back up in the morning to dump your sewer, or extend out 40 feet of hose. We had a 30 amp pull through.

Normally if weather permits, we use the Boondock area out in the front of the casino. Very seldom do we come by in the late summer where the heat is so unbearable, you have to have electrical. But I can say this the park is completely full at night, so I must be the odd person out, on my views on price and so on and so forth, because they have no problem filling the place at night.

We will use this park only if the weather is too unbearable to utilize the front (no hook-ups) parking lot. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Must see the underground town in downtown Pennington: the tour is very interesting.

Also the Great Northwest Sandwich Shop is a notch above the rest: very good.

Stayed here a week in 42 foot 5th wheel in a pull through site that was adequate. The park is pretty old and the fact that I needed three sewer hoses to reach the drain testifies to that (way in back of site). The park has paved interior roads that are good. Our site was level and acceptable. The WIFI was pretty good here, however the park needs a cable TV package. The service was good, however the cost was higher than one would expect for the services provided. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Not a lot going on in Pendleton this time of year. Went to the Pendleton woolen factory which was interesting. The restaurants in town were ok but over-priced. The Umitilla National Forest was nice to visit and hike at 4900 feet elevation. The casino next door is incredibly smoke-filled, so if you don't like smoke, stay out. The Pendleton Riverwalk is ok but in need of landscaping.

Good place for stop over. Park needs updates. Most sites are just 30 amps, and pedestals are low to the ground as is the water hookup. Needed blocks to level trailer, our site was gravel. Free shuttle to casino. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

While not in the exact downtown Pendleton area, it was close enough to work out for us as an overnight stop. Very nice pool. Shuttle to the casino was frequent. Good hookups functioned properly. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very neat and clean park. Right next to The Wild horse Casino w/ shuttle service. All sites were asphalt with full hook ups. Services worked well. Sites are pretty level and packed in making your neighbors close by although seemed pretty quite. Wi-Fi was iffy but Version Mi-Fi worked well. AT@T signal was weak, voice worked ok but data not so good. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walmart, Safeway and other amenities available in Pendleton about 3-4 miles down I84.
A visit to the Pendleton Mill is worth going. They have a store to purchase all kinds of Pendleton wear and there is a tour of the factory which was very interesting.

We only picked this park because we needed a one night stay on our way to somewhere else. As it turned out it was a great place to stay. The two young women who checked us in were so friendly and helpful. We didn't realize there were some interesting things in the area to see and ended up doing some sightseeing (Pendleton Wool factory tour), as well as enjoying the casino. There is also a movie theater here, which we didn't use but that was a nice option. The park is well maintained with room between sites. Concrete pads are level and Verizon air card and phone worked well. It was very quiet and peaceful and a great surprise to find such a nice RV park after a long day of driving. We would plan on staying here again next time we travel through this area and even consider staying more than one night. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Casino does have this RV Park but they also have a parking lot with marked RV parking spot to Boondocks. We stayed two nights, they have a doggie walk area with doggie bags. Shuttle comes by about every 15 minutes all day and eve to casino all tho it is a short walk. We thought the Buffet was awful. Nice big Truckstop a small walk down the street along with McDonalds. REALLY nice Golf Course too ( the reason we stayed two nights ) Will stay here again. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Adequate grassy space between sites. All interior roads are wide, paved and well marked. Most RV sites are wide, paved and mostly level; Rows 7, 8 and 11 were gravel (maybe paved by now).

Interior sites are all pull-through; perimeter sites are all back-ins. Perimeter sites often have long term renters.

Sites in rows 5 and 6 have adequate space for tow vehicle parking. Back in sites 91 and 92 offer beautiful views of the Blue Mtns.

Each year we notice improvements in the park. Rates and discounts are reasonable, weekend and holiday rates are slightly higher.

Full hookups were good, basic, but no lighting at night;

Only 12 sites have 50 amp power so if you need 50 amp, suggest making reservations ahead. Cable selection is minimal, WiFi is sporadic but has improved over past couple of years. Showers/laundry room were adequate and clean.

Grassy sites. cleanliness is inconsistent; no shade, have found cig butts and dog poop in site. Picnic tables not available at all sites so check if needed.

Casino Shuttle and Security were very exceptional. Heated pool and spa limited to summer season (but may use Casino Motel indoor pool).

Dog friendly (some irresponsible dog owners don't clean up their poop!).

Office is very, very small, sells only ice so bring your own groceries and propane, or prepare to go shopping elsewhere.

Casino breakfast buffet - we like it but it's not offered on holidays like Labor Day or Memorial Day; try the huckleberry blintz!

I prefer making reservations because I've been skunked a couple of times and there are no nearby acceptable options. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Snowbirds use this as a stopover when going South for Winter or North for Summer an can fill up pretty quickly in the evenings. I recommend reservations if you'll be arriving late.

Many things to do at or around the area (Casino, Tamastslikt Cultural Center, Pendleton Aquatic Center, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Pendleton Underground Tours, to name a few).

Next to the Casino, the Arrowhead Travel Plaza is a full-service truck stop offering McDonalds, reasonable fuel prices, and their website homepage shows traffic conditions on cabbage hill via four live ODOT webcams.

Staff is friendly & helpful. Without a reservation and no problems I got a site beginning of February. The place was pretty empty at that time.
The location is out of town but close to the Interstate for easy access. No noticeable noise from highway. The roads are paved and the setup is nice. However, there are no trees, only green spaces between the sites. This is a park for a one night stay on the way south or north, so no RV's in disrepair.
The paved sites are mostly pull-through with some backup-in and big enough for big rigs.
Hookups like water, power, sewer were working fine. I didn't use the WiFi so can't tell anything about it. The restrooms were clean but there was nobody there to use them so no wonder. The shuttle bus to the Casino, bar and restaurant is a nice feature. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Follow the signs off interstate past the hotel/casino, then right turn to the RV Park. Friendly staff. Very quick check-in as we had made reservations and already provided details. Had a cement pull-through, but some are gravel. Very clean restrooms, showers. Unsecured WiFi, but no cable. Short walk to the casino. Some highway noise strolling outdoors in the evening. but never bothered us. Few street lights in the park. Shuttle service to & from the casino. Good stay for an over-nighter, even if you don't indulge in the casino. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Busy RV park, efficent staff. Pull thru & back in spots. Asphalt roads and mostly paved pads. Full hook up. Back-ins along perimeter of park are the nicest with grass and some trees. Interior pads are side by side. Bathrooms are clean if small. Shuttle to casino. Great for a one night stay. Second visit and will come again. Camping in a 17 ft Casita.
