Be careful getting to the park from the south-the off ramp has changed and requires a quick lane change to make the entrance. We called ahead to request a spot. We were assigned one sight unseen and drove to it to find a short parking space with a tiny dirt area with a tiny picnic table. The utilities for the next space were practically under our table. Our utilites were under the other neighbors'. Our slot was too short to park our 17ft trailer and car together. We were too stupid to request a better spot but we did see some along the creek that would have been nice with grass areas. As others have said there are a lot of permanent residents. Some came and went early and late in noisy vehicles. We did not use the pool, restrooms or laundromat areas. The lady at the desk was nice but I feel we should have been offered a choice of spots and not assigned a tiny, extra short, dust hole when nicer places were available. Beware, you are right near the I-5 which is convenient but noisy. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The office staff were very helpful and courteous. Had candy and cookies! The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The problem is with the sites: the space between sites is just a patch of dry grass; lots of cobwebs everywhere; the trash dumpster was full when we arrived and two days letter it had not been emptied, with trash bags overflowing and some on the ground because there was no more space in the dumpster. It appears that people live there permanently and their sites are very unsightly. The roads are narrow and people park perpendicular to their rigs, so it makes difficult to get out of your spot while towing. The picnic table was so old and full of cobwebs that we did not use it at all. We will try to avoid staying here again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

It's paved with strips of dead weeds separating our motorhomes. Really jammed together,, no privacy, very noisy with cars running through very fast all night long. The bathrooms are run down as is most of this older unkempt site. Bear Creek runs along side the park, but talking with a few of the locals who live there say don't touch the water if you have any open wounds or let your dog go near it, very toxic with animal feces and mercury. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Miniature train park was fun and plenty of shopping If you love hot wings then Wild Buffalo is for you My tip would be look around for a nice place to park. This camp ground is really showing its age and lack of maintenance not a nice place to be, will never go back there again

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a complete parking lot. The spaces are close together, separated by a small plot of dead grass. It's immediately adjacent to the freeway -- my young daughter could easily hurl a rock onto the freeway from our space (but she didn't) so road noise is constant and considerable. With so many really amazing RV parks in the area, I don't see why this one stays in business. With that said, the park host was nice and all the hookups, cable TV, and Wi-Fi are functional. If you're looking for an overnight spot just to sleep and then then hit the road again, this place is convenient. We would not stay here again. Note that, at the time of this review, the I-5 South on-ramp was under construction and the detour was to take the I-5 North ramp, drive three miles north, then get off and take I-5 South from there. So six miles out of the way to go south on I-5. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Rude lady at the desk basically said our coach was crap and looked like nicotine stained cigarette with wheels. My husband shrugged it off saying she's having a bad day. Then she quotes us a months stay for $765 with a non-refundable $350 deposit and another payment of $85 for a background check. My husband is semi-retired from Intel corporation and we came down here to join in our sons play in Ashland. We decided to pay for the night at $65 dollars. Next day I went to introduce myself to our full time rv'ers and they tell us that they aren't allowed to be outside for more than ten minutes at a time. This place is very disappointing at any rate. Its clean, neat but with a Stephen King undertone. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sardine parking spaces: our canopy couldn't go fully out without touching the pullout of the adjacent RV. On the other side, the canopy kept us covered when we set up our sewer and electric.  All this for resort prices because they have a pool, which didn't do us any good at the end of November. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Good Sam rate was $36.50. This is a nice place except the dumpster was about two feet from our front door. There were plenty of spaces available, but the manager chose to put us by the dumpster. Did not even think about it as we have never seen a set-up like this. Large dumpsters are usually at either end of the park not right outside of your front door. If you stay here, ask not to be put next to a dumpster. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Park need to be cleaned up. The only nice spots is where a few of the people that live here full time take care of their spaces, the other are covered with cob webs. Took our dogs to their so called dog area which was weeds and dirt and needed to remove thorns from their feet for them to walk out. Only a few grassy areas, the rest dead grass/weeds and dirt. I did ask a police officer that that was driving through the park if this was a safe place and he said it was very safe. The location of the park is great and the owner is very nice. Will not stay here again. If cleaned up it could be a nice place. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.
