Lovely, quiet small park in Port Orford, right off Hwy 101, with a grocery store and several restaurants nearby. The park office offers a good selection of RV supplies/parts, including propane. WiFi and cable TV are included at no extra cost, and both work well. Grass and trees are scattered throughout the grounds--very pleasing to the eye. General upkeep of the Park is top notch. A delightful and soothing RV park experience. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Some sites are really small and close together. Our site was a larger one but it was close to highway 101. So there is some road niose but it was not bothersome. It appears most sites are seasonal or permanent but everyone keeps their site looking nice. We would stay here again. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Motorhome.

Love Love Love this little park and always our favorite spot on the Oregon coast! Super friendly family that runs it and the host was extremely helpful too. Our site was near the highway but it got plenty quiet at night. The park is smaller but extremely well maintained & clean, and despite what a previous reviewer claims (sounds like he had a bad day), the sites have plenty of space to put put all 4 of our slides on our brand new 36 foot trailer. Great wi-fi and close to the beaches and everything in town. We come here every year along with quite a few others who "retreat" here to escape the Medford area heat for a couple months. We've even gotten to know several of them who come here every year also. Great place to stay anytime!! We will be back!! We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great location to day trip south to Gold Beach or Brookings, or to go north to Bandon or Coos Bay. We did both.

I cannot say enough good things about this park. We have resided here part time for three years. We live part time in Salem and the rest of our time at Camp Blanco. Owners keep an eye on our 5th wheel and even check for damage after foul weather. The park is well maintained, great wifi, and the grounds are very clean. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The pros: nice owner, great Wi-Fi, clean with grassy areas for dogs. Cons: It's an extremely small park, between rigs and overall length, nothing like the website pictures. "Pull throughs" are too short to do so without having someone move or having to back out. Park entry has deep valley that drags on longer units (blacktop scars say we weren't the first). The park sits on Hwy 101. The traffic noise never stops, but if it did then the car wash coin alarms across the street would still keep you wide awake (not sure who washes cars at 5am!?). When we made reservations a month prior, we were ensured a 50 amp site. Once we arrived we were told that there are only two 50 sites and that they were occupied, "things change" and only 30 amp was available. We would have left if there were anything else available, anywhere (week included July 4th-that's why we reserved so far in advance)! For smaller units that don't mind constant noise this is a great place, otherwise pass this one up! We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very small park with under 30 sites. Many are seasonals, so check availability. We were here in the "rainy" season and the place had plenty of standing water. Sites are small and tight. Roads the same. Campground WiFi was great. Verizon voice and Internet were great. Satellite easy to hook up. Small local grocery with any others 25 miles away. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This is the farthest town west in the continental United states. Several great ocean view areas and a lighthouse. Nice beach walks also. Looks to be a fishing town. You have to go to Rockhouse Creamery. Its a drive north but their ice cream is the best in the US! Cheese is unique and made while you watch.

We stayed there a week. Nice RV Park. The Pros are:
1) Really helpful and friendly staff.
2) Very good WiFi
3) Park is well maintained and clean
The Cons are:
1) My site (#8) was close to 101 so there was a lot of road noise.

2) The site was very narrow with very little room between me and my neighbor.
3) There was no picnic table (probability) because of site width
4) There is no laundry room forcing you to go across the street which is expensive
There are a lot of full timers but this did not detract from the park all sites were well maintained and clean, everybody was friendly.
I would stay there again if I can get a site that is not so close to 101. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I would not recommend the Crazy Norwegian. It was recommended by several people for fish and chips, but the portions were small and the fish not very flavorful

The owners and camp host are very friendly and helpful. Dog-friendly with a small dog area complete with fire hydrants, and a field next door good for your larger dogs. Close to just about everything in town. Sites are a bit close, but everything fits and really, who hangs out around their rv with the coast so close? Great spot for exploring the area. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For a special night out (speedy), Redfish is truly excellent. We had the fresh fish and clam chowder, and lamb chops and bibb salad, with the mussel appetizer. Outstanding. Their cabernet sauvignon was very good.

Head to TJ's Café for breakfast and the Crazy Norwegian for lunch or a casual dinner.

We stayed three nights and found it to be a great place to stay. The 101 hwy is close but we didn't have a problem with noise, and we were in a spot next to the road. The other reviews are exactly right. We were given a basket of goodies when we left. That was really thoughtful. See you again next year. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Motorhome.

We heard scraping of the highway pavement as we tackled their driveway. It isn't all that steep, but the highway crowns significantly, forming a deep dip as you approach. Having approached very slowly, at an angle, we found no damage. Next time we'll try a greater angle. Despite being close to the highway the traffic didn't disrupt our sleep. Because it's their slow time (crammed June-August, then Oct-Dec), and because we're staying a week, (our best rate came by staying for a week) he let us choose our site among the traveler RV sites available. We got a great one with lots of grass, a picnic table and space. None of the others have this much space, nor picnic tables. Most are pretty tight sites. That entrance and space between sites are the only bad things we see here. FHU (we had strong 30 amps), great Verizon cell reception, satellite TV reception and free WiFi (in our RV). Their restrooms are among the nicest we've experienced. The place is VERY neat and the management is just as friendly and helpful as all get out! The owner even looked to see if anything seemed damaged from our approach. On top of that, after we'd settled in, a young man gave us a "Welcome" gift of tea bags, salt water taffy, playing cards, popcorn and tourist info. That was a first! We can walk to the church we go to, a restaurant, and the Ray's grocery store (even a laundromat is across the street). Access to the beach is not far. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the best fish & chips on the west coast at "Crazy Norwegians." We visited the Patrick Hughes House (Victorian) and Cape Blanco Lighthouse (you can climb to where the Fresnel lens is moving) at Cape Blanco State Park. The Port Orford dolly dock is unique, using cranes to lift boats because they can't be moored there. There is also Port Orford Heads State Park with the Lifeboat Station Museum. We also walked to great ocean views on the Watch Tower trail there.

We stayed here 1 night on our way down the coast. Nice, smallish park with pull-thru sites which were a good size. Quite a few large trees but sites are open. Just off Hwy 101 but traffic noise was not a problem - didn't hear a thing overnight.

Office staff were very courteous and walked with us to our site. Gravel driveway had been raked prior to our arrival!

Each site has a fixed charcoal briquet bbq on a metal post. Ours was clean and ready to use, but we didn't.

Single bathroom and shower for the park (1 M/1 F), but as I mentioned this is not a large park. Very clean and shower was a bargain - $0.25 for 10 minutes! Didn't use the full 10 minutes (water conservation) but it was nice not to have to rush shower!

Port Orford is a small town so we only stayed 1 night. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Check out Griff's restaurant on the wharf for fresh seafood as well as cooked food. Cooked Dungeness crab was great price $8.95/lb.

Camp Blanco is a small and older park that is very well maintained with excellent water pressure and WiFi reception. Manager was very friendly and helpful. A minor complaint would be about the entry point which is a short incline from the road. If your tow system hangs low it may drag a little on entry. Neighbors said that the cable reception is excellent and from space 11 we had no problem setting up our dish. When in this area this will be our destination park. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Motorhome.

This Is a very clean and well run Park, with level sites, you are made very welcome by management. Cable TV works well, some sites will not allow for Satellite TV due to the many trees. The only reason I did not rate this park a 10 is its a small park with fairly small spaces for larger Rigs. Great park in a small town. Be sure to call ahead as it's becoming a popular park.
