We stayed 4 days in our motorhome. Check in was fast and courteous. The park is mostly asphalt and concrete with patches of grass. There is a dog run, however most folks walked there pets in the adjacent fairgrounds lawns. There was a rally here, so all of the larger pull through sites were taken. The back in sites are tight, just enough space for the coach. There is a bench on gravel with your neighbor about 10' away. They could have done a better job placing the sewer connections since many (for your neighbors use) are close to your door. the highway noise in minimal and the plane traffic same. If Redmond does not have the shopping experience you want, Bend is just down the highway. Lots to do in the area. We will stay here again. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very nice place to stay for the night. We were passing through and did not have a reservation and the lady in the office was very accommodating and got us a nice pull through site for the night. Very clean and well laid out park. The restrooms were very nice. We will stay here again. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is well laid out adjacent to exhibition grounds. All services and shopping located nearby. Nice open grass field next to pm to let ur dog run. Good tv on antenna but no cable. Laundry marginal and not too clean. Most frustrating was wifi. They claim a wifi service but neither of our tablets wud permit stating it was unsecured. They really need to fix this. A nice golf course located within walking distance of pk. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

GPS led me right to the park, and signage is great. Service in the office was excellent, and the lady was very friendly and helpful. The spots are spacious and long enough for my 38' motorhome and Tahoe, but there's an additional concrete pad for your tow vehicle when and if you unhook. The connections were a little far from my hook-ups, but I pulled forward quite a bit so my tow vehicle would fit. Pulling in, parking and leaving were very easy as the driveways are very wide. Concrete pads are poured for the RV spots and tow vehicles. Gray gravel with a picnic table is next to each site. There is a large field of grass for pets. The park was pretty full on the weekend, but emptied out during the week. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

when signing up for Bend Broadband for free internet click on "see details" above the "not recommended" line. then you will go to a page that says I agree at bottom of the box...then you will be taken to the website to start using it. it is unsecured and you are warned away, but Bendbroadband has been in Bend for decades and seems safe, although unsecure. We have stayed here many times. Clean, easy to maneuver and long sites. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is clean and well laid out. Our site in row C was level with good parking for the toad. We stayed here 14 days. The only bad thing I have to say about the park is that while the WIFI is open and included and I was able to connect to it but was NEVER able to get connected through it to the internet. I had to use my phone as a hotspot. Taxes are an additional $3.67. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very well maintained campground with very helpful and friendly staff at check in. Interior roads are all paved and big rig access is great. Most of the sites are spacious with plenty of space for the towed, however if you are 40 ft motor home towing, beware of the last sites on the pull through rows as they are shorter and have no space for the towed. Sites are level concrete, some have picnic tables but not all. It was very quiet both day and night however I suspect it could get noisy if there was an event scheduled at the Expo Center. We had a distant view of the mountains from our RV. The bathrooms were heated and spotlessly clean, the laundry was spacious with plenty of washers and dryers. AT&T was fine. This is not a destination campground, however for overnight or if visiting the area for a few days this is ideal, we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quick and easy check-in, staff friendly and helpful. Large open park. Some sites had some grass but most did not. All concrete and pavement. Mostly level. Sites are staggered so the unit next to you doesn't seem to close. Over air TV was decent, free WiFi BUT UNSECURED, did not use. Would stay here again if in the area. We come to this park on a regular basis because of the price compared to others in the Bend/Redmond area. The laundry is good, the showers and restroom are very clean, with a major exception of constant flooding from the showers. The manager of the park knows the most, is very, very friendly and most helpful. There is a WiFi site thru BendBroadband that works very well. We intend to return. Tips for other Campers:

All the main shopping is available in Redmond. Bend is a lovely town, and of course the area is magnificent for outdoor activities. There are other much nicer parks in the area, but you will pay the price...and you may enjoy them more!

Basically, a huge parking lot. Sites were concrete but not level. Rest rooms and shower were clean but a long distance from the back-in site where we were located. There was no internet and no cable TV but OTA channels with antenna were adequate. Had no problem with staff or check-in but resented their exorbitant cancellation fee of $34 if you change your mind. It's okay for an overnight stay but wouldn't make it my first choice in the area (others were full). Given a choice, I'd stay somewhere else. Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights for RV appointments in the area over the 4th of July holiday. The park is a short drive from US 95 (Airport Way Exit) along city streets. It is located in town close to services. The interior roads are paved. They are narrow with parked vehicle encroachment & tight turns making maneuvering larger RV's a little challenging. There is a mixture of back-ins, P/T's and tent sites. A few of P/T sites were long enough to say connected to a toad. The RV sites are narrow & there isn't much distance between the sites but there was sufficient room to open slides. The parking pads are concrete. The site layout puts extra vehicle parking space on the driver's side. This configuration puts your towed vehicle directly in the way of the neighbor's table & outside area. This park seems to understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites were generally level and flat. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. The sewer connection was above ground making it difficult to establish a downhill flow depending on discharge point. Sites have an outside table & BBQ grill but no fire pits as open fires are prohibited. Site orientation doesn't allow RV's to cast shade onto the patio side. The landscaping is new so there is nothing to interfere with satellite reception yet. No cable. The park brochure made no mention of broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any OTA channels. No park provided WiFi. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about cell phone reception. No designated fenced pet area. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste around the park. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads, the adjacent event grounds parking lot & city street. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very 'sterile' park, nothing here. No WiFi, no cable (say it's under repair, but clearly long term ). No camp store. All sites park you North to South so no chance of any shade at any time. Folks hide behind their rig, or behind their car for some shade. Sites are concrete surrounded by gravel and dirt. Mostly level. Don't ask for a pull thru or back-in, you'll go where they tell you as they decide. Train usually lets you know it's there at 2am and 6am. Will not return. Visually appealing but sites are close together. We had a concrete pad and enough room for both fifthwheel and truck. No wi-fi or cable tv. They told us that it went out the week before and they expected someone to come out "soon". They allow charcoal cooking on their open pits only, not yours. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Weird rules on bar b que. You had to use their open pits and not allowed to use your closed pit. Also, you can have a roaring bar b que fire but not allowed to enjoy a cigar. This could be a great place if the county nanny state would let it be. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has nothing to offer except location and a friendly staff. The cement pads are not level. The spaces are crammed together with very little space between RV's. The gravel at our site was mostly dirt. There was a road right behind our unit with daytime traffic and only a cyclone fence separating us. No trees and no afternoon shade for most all sites. It is very poorly laid out in order to get as many sites in as possible. We were not given a map to help us find our site and no one escorted us. We just had to remember the various turns. There is no internet. I was told that it was down but even when it isn't, it doesn't work. In four days there, no internet at all. Power and water work fine. All interior roads are paved. I will not return. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
