We had a nice site close to the river. This was lovely. The owner is exceptionally nice and accommodating. The maintenance man who takes care of the park is one of the most pleasant and hard working we have ever encountered. It is apparent there is a lot of effort being put into maintaining the park and providing improvements. All this being said, we would not come back. The park is made up of mostly full time residents. Rigs are old with a fair amount of junk on the outside of their rigs. We were near the trash bin, and there were many residents who pulled up in their vehicles to unload their trash bags into the dumpster throughout the day. Additionally, the sites are quite close together. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We loved our stay here. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The park is clean, quiet, and located on the bank of the Umpqua River. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Level parking site. Good laundry facility and nice rec room. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great staff on arrival and was taken to site and helped to back in. Site was level. Park was very clean. Other vans were close but not enough to be annoying. The site was easly big enought for our 24ft C Class. Very beautiful watching the river go by. Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Motorhome.

New management. Efficient and friendly. Right on the river with great access for all. Gravel sites, spacious. Some treed. Double dog park. Good trash pickup as it got very full but was picked up twice while I was there. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to Winston, and Roseburg not far up the freeway. Very good management as I stayed here previously and had not been back for many years. I will definitely come back again. The managers are the bombs for management; hope they stay.

Stayed for 6 months while on a construction project. Park had just been sold to a non-rv'er from Portland, an investor type guy, well I soon found out this place was not to my liking even though I was gone 10 hrs per day. I didn't feel comfortable with the Camp workers all being busy all the time to impress the new owner. The park was really dirty with years and years of tree leaves that had not been picked up, the house was a mess with dust and black pieces of leaves. No WiFi, I had to pay Charter for that service, can't wash your car, but you can wash your RV, go figure that one. Cops were cruising through all the time - that was a little scary. Don't think I would come back to that place, something was really wrong there. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for one year, while looking to buy a home. All utilities work well and were placed in a good position. Sites were level. Laundry and showers always cleaned daily and working properly. Camp workers very helpful. A dog friendly park but no fenced dog area. Easy to walk dogs in park or down by the river. Most sites have good shade from beautiful trees. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you need TV, dish site, you might need to choose a site with fewer trees. No traffic or train noise. No pool or playground, but we didn't want that anyway. Clubhouse with movies and books to borrow and small kitchen space for family parties.

Rising River is very well maintained. There are many extended stay guests but they maintain a portion of the sites for travelers. Very nice area in general. Right on Route 99/42, so there is a fair amount of traffic noise. At present, there is a running waiting list for "Monthly Rate" sites and they do scrutinize RVs built year 2000 and previous. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice older property with friendly and helpful owners. Gravel site, long enough for our 60 foot rig. WiFi is pretty good, as is the analog cable TV. Verizon and AT&T data and cell coverage are good. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good Sam rate for a pull-thru, FHU, 50 amp site. Roads are paved but sites are gravel. There is a fence separating neighboring sites. No problem maneuvering our 33' motorhome through the park or at our site. We had good Verizon cell and MiFi reception. We had good satellite reception, but most sites would be blocked by trees. There is some road noise. There were also periods of smoke from distant forest fires. We would stay here again. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We loved this park! Super friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful site, nice size spaces with lots of green grass ( a real bonus for us pet owners!) Just a great RV Park. Would have given them a 10, except for the road noise . Will definitely stay here again!!! We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Rising River overnight on our way to the coast. It's conveniently located along the coast highway right off of I-5 but because of this there is a lot of road noise. The best sites are the back-ins along the river where there is a nice shady area of grass behind the sites. Unfortunately, these were not available and we stayed in a pull-through in the center. The site was adequate but pretty tightly packed together. Much of the park is occupied by full-timers and many of these were older and a bit run-down. Cell phone coverage was good as was the Wi-Fi. We camped at Rising River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed a week at this nice RV park. The wifi was great, staff friendly, and grounds well-maintained. There is some road noise from the nearby highway to Coos Bay and the coast. Although we have a shower in our motorhome my grandson has to use the ones at the parks due to his height (6'7) and unfortunately the ones here have very low showerheads. It's a quick and inexpensive fix with those flexible hose shower heads that can be positioned up higher, so I would recommend that. That would have pushed my rating higher. Tips for other Campers:

There is a grocery store nearby but for a Safeway or Walmart you have to drive a little further down the freeway into Roseburg. The Wildlife Safari Park is just down the street.
