This is a tidy park located right next to I-5 so expect road noise. While the park is located on a hill our site was level. The majority of this small park is occupied by longer term residents with one row kept for overnights or short stays. We had one of the longest sites in the park and with our 38' fifth wheel and HDT we stuck out a bit on both ends. The site was wide enough to park the Jeep alongside and a toad or truck would fit as well freeing up length for the rig. The roads are paved and the site is gravel. Good Verizon phone and 4G. The park is fine for an overnight or two just be prepared for plenty of road noise. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for five nights to teach an NRVIA advanced RV inspector training class. The park manager was very helpful in securing us a spot to have the class when other RV parks in the Salem area would not. This facility worked perfectly for our needs and we enjoyed our stay. We would return if in the area again. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is not much in the local area, but one of our RV inspectors found an Italian Restaurant in a nearby town called Mangiare in Independence, OR. It's in a quaint little town where they said you would not expect to find good Italian food.

We were disappointed in this park. While the park facility itself was satisfactory, many of the long-term rigs and their sites were trashy, rusty, and very dirty, torn tarps and accumulated junk. They need to clear some of their residents out. Add to that the extreme noise from the busy Interstate 5, and we couldn't wait to leave. We had been very happy to get a full week here because we were late making reservations and the surrounding area parks were fully booked, but we would never stay here again. Staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Sites were very tight, and a bit awkward because the park is terraced on a hill, and the space between sites is steeply inclined. Even though our site was a pull-through, disconnecting the toad was necessary because the site was barely long enough to park the car sideways behind the motor home. Even at that, we had to squeeze the car in to keep it off the road. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Motorhome.

Willamette Valley Vineyards Tasting Room on Enchanted Way is well worth the visit, and it has a beautiful view of the mid Willamette Valley looking toward the coast range.

Just looking for an overnight stay and found this very nice park. We had a pull thru site almost long enough for our 40' plus toad. The park was clean and quiet, but there are obviously a lot of long term residents. The easy off/easy on from the freeway without having to deal with any city traffic was a winner! We'll be back. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Motorhome.

Park is close to I-5, but nothing else. No gas, restaurants, etc. Most sites are pull-through, but none are level. All sites are gravel. Propane is available at the park. WiFi is a little slow. All in all, an OK park. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Valley RV Park is very clean, gravel pull thru sites - only needed one yellow square plastic block on the leading tire to level RV. Water, Electric, Sewer and cable at the rear of your site. Channels 2 thru 7 snowy and poor sound. The remainder very good. One camper connected his cable to the next site. WiFi is spotty. I have faster service using my 3G connected to my computer. Staff very friendly and responsive to our needs, ie needed a picnic table. Traffic noise is there not to bad outside. I would camp here again. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Fifth Wheel.

Brand new, very clean park. All facilities are new and spotless. Laundry is available, as is propane. Site is adjacent to I-5 so there is some traffic noise, but not unbearable. Sites are good size, crushed gravel, mostly level, but no grass or tables. Cable is excellent, as is Wi-Fi internet. Excellent place to stay over en route. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a newer RV park. It is situated directly off I-5. We were in the row closest to the interstate and we were not disturbed by road noise. There are no trees and I would guess in the summer it would be very warm with no shade. There are no picnic tables. Each space is gravel and a bit tough on the feet. The internet is not dependable. The bathrooms are very clean but there is only one stall in both the mens and the womens bathroom. A key is required to enter the bathrooms. A key code would be better. There are not many TV channels. The office staff was very nice. They actually came out to greet us outside as we pulled in: it was raining. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Truck Camper.

If you are just looking for a place to pull into for the night, this might work for you. It is right on I-5. You can see and hear the traffic go by all night long. Not the easiest place to get in and out of if you have a larger rig. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a fairly new park, but. The interior roads are paved, but the RV spots are compacted gravel which is fine, but if you want to walk along side your RV, be prepared to sink into the bark dust and mud. As for the showers, there is one for the men and one for the women and you need to get a key from the office to use them. It looks like most of the park is filled up with permanent residents. I wouldn't recommend it and use only as a last resort. We camped at Emerald Valley RV park in a Motorhome.
