Our rate reflects a 14 day stay. Beautiful park, filled with expensive class A's and massive 5th wheels. There are several others who live here, based on my conversations with them at the hot tub, however they all keep their spaces and rigs pretty clean. I liked the free newspaper delivery each day. The pull through space we had seemed small for our 33 foot toy hauler, giving us some trouble finding a place to park our pickup truck. The spaces are rather close to each other too. Our neighbor was a family with 7 kids, who trampled all over our sewer hose, and made lots of noise. The park is full of kids, who yell and scream all day and night. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent Park, clean in every way. We were not offered a Super Site which annoyed me a little. THE ONE NEGATIVE, AS SAID BEFORE, THE ENTRANCE SIGN IS WAY TO SMALL AND YOU NEED TO HUNT FOR THE ENTRANCE, CROSSING VERY BUST HWY 22 FROM THE EAST. THEY NEED A BIG SIGN ON THE RIGHT BEFORE THE HARD TO FIND ENTRANCE. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

The park was clean and well maintained. However, they allow parking in the streets which make it very difficult to maneuver with a rig of any size. I stayed in a pull through and had to wait until cars were moved before I could depart. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a "resort" with many amenities and lots of long term campers. But on one thing they fail to provide a basic service. The water is cloudy. No matter how long it runs, it stays cloudy. Not just the hot water, but the cold too. Cloudy water is a good vehicle for waterborne diseases. We used it to wash dishes, brush teeth and haven't gotten sick, but we wouldn't drink it. Bring several gallons of clear, clean water if you go here. Many sites had concrete pads that had a ramp up, a flat place for the RV, then another ramp up to the hex the road. As a result we had to place the trailer in the middle and park the truck behind it. The campground complains people are parking on the roads, but they rent spaces to long RV's and because of the uneven pads, people have to stick into the roads. We stayed here because it was near the house of friends, but we'd not go back. We never used the amenities since we were visiting friends and seeing some of the sites. More a park for long term people who like somewhat narrow sites. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Travel Trailer.

The state capital building is unique. Influenced by art deco and maybe some Frank Lloyd Wright, it is an impressive change on the usual capital buIlding.

This is a great rv park.. Lots of tress and grass.. hiking trail all around the park.. Pool area is awesome ..Tables on sites with concrete patio.. Front office staff nice & efficient.. Loved it..If I have any negative.. The sites are tight to get into.. Other than that great.. Our site had a separate space to park our tow.. Stayed for one month. Pros: 1) well managed, 2) nice pool and main building, 3) daily activities/snacks. Cons: 1) very tight spaces, 2) constant road noise from highway, 3) very dangerous entry and exit onto 55mph highway 22, 4) constant backup alarms from adjacent granite factory, 5) pricey. This is an okay park for a couple of nights, would definitely look elsewhere for a week or month. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

Stayed one night. Sites were small, water facets were very low, hard to reach for older people. Neighbor's sewer was right by our table. Laundry was clean and modern. Hot tub was exceptional. A good urban park. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

Lots and lots of pull-through sites, but they are not long enough. Our truck stuck out in the road. Very busy highway for pulling out of park. There is a small amount of daytime guest parking which, in our case, was convenient. Really nice showers. Wifi for email only. Very close to neighbors. We kept our blinds closed because, if we opened them, all we could see was our neighbor's RV. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful and impeccably well-maintained RV Park. The staff was incredibly helpful, both when checking in and during our stay. The delicious $5.00 Saturday and Sunday breakfasts gave us chance to meet a number of other guests ... some, like us, in for just a few days ... and others who live there on a permanent basis. Great gift shop. However, even the long-term resident sites were clean and uncluttered. There is a wide walking trail around the campground overflowing with wild blackberries which you can collect, if you don't eat all of them along the way. While there, we had a problem with our fresh water connections on a Sunday no less. However, the staff was able to give us the name and phone number of John at Stellar RV who came out on Sunday to assist us and again on Monday to finish the job. The sites are admittedly a bit tight but would not deter us from returning or wholeheartedly recommending this RV Park! We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

Excellent for a base to tour the State Capitol and other parts of the greater Salem area. Longer trips to Mt. Hood or to see the Spruce Goose certainly reasonable.

Fantastic place. We had a pull-through site with grass, a picnic table on a concrete patio and a concrete pad to park our Jeep. (They removed every other site and doubled the size of the remaining sites.) The bathrooms are amazing! White pedestal-style sinks with an oval mirror above each one. Everything is sparkling clean!

We have stayed here before and if we come back to Salem, we will stay here again, no doubt about it! It is every bit 5-star! We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a pickleball court, here! It isn't fenced in but the court is surrounded by grass so the balls don't bounce very far away.

There is a really nice gift shop at this park with pretty glasses and a great choice of wines, pieces of art and crafts, etc.

Avoid this park unless you're 28ft. We barely fit our 42 ft fifth wheel on our pull thru lot. Our back door opens up over the boulder landscape. We are extended so far over in order to get our slider out that we're on the grass. The patio is useless for us. Because the lots are so small, the streets are full of vehicles. We may have to back out of our pull thru site. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here while we were in town for a softball tournament. Very clean park and low noise level. The spaces are a little tight. We were in a 42' coach towing a jeep and our rig just barely fit with the jeep parked sideways behind our rig. Very friendly staff. Pull thrus and back ins. Fenced off leash area for your dogs. There are a couple of bbq areas, one will accommodate a fairly large crowd. Our absolute favorite part of this park is the blackberries. They encourage you to pick all you want and there are bushes all around the perimeter of the park. Look behind the dog park for the biggest and easy to pick berries. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

If you're here in July and love blackberries you can pick them for free at the park. I suggest Rick Johnson Farms for abundant blueberry picking for only $1.25/pound. (As of July 2016)

The staff were great and the park well designed and maintained. There were a number of long term residents, but sites were kept neat and uncluttered. Facilities were better than most parks, but the location offers little in scenery or locale based advantages. WiFi was good to terrible, the park was full and time of day really mattered. A good place for a stopover, but not a destination. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would return in a heartbeat - I was sorry to leave! Salem is a nice town, and there's so much to see and do, and this RV park was so nice, and the people so friendly (mostly),... The site layout does make it a little cramped, but we managed to fit our 40' MH and truck into our site (#160) and still leave plenty of room for other vehicles to get by. And we didn't run into any problems because of other vehicles parked in the way. The cg is pretty, with green all around, it has two little dog parks and a nice little greenbelt walking path around the perimeter - the place is very pet-friendly. The pool looked nice, and the hot tub was huge and wonderful! The only negative there was a couple in the hot tub seemed to think they owned it and were pretty unfriendly (and were smoking, and then became loud and obnoxious/rude when another one of their friends showed up). On the weekend they provided cheap all you can eat breakfasts, and on Sunday before Memorial Day, they provided free hot dogs poolside. We don't have kids but understand they have all sorts of game rooms. They had a big free DVD library. Their laundry was spotless with 4 washers and 4 dryers, each $1.50 (10 extra min. per quarter with dryer). Some road noise from Highway 22 but wasn't an issue for us. A lot of workcampers living and working there, but the only way that was obvious was the clean/pretty/friendly environment! We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

Unfortunately we were just in need of an overnight site in route to our workamping job in the Columbia Gorge so $45 was steep for not being able to enjoy all the park has to offer. Very well laid out roads and sites with nice amenities. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pull through site provided plenty of room for our 34' rig without unhooking the tow. Nice patio and table at each site. Good location for access to the many. wineries in the area. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.
