An very old KOA that has been re-branded. While it has been cared for, it is old and worn. Tent camping sites, RV sites and some storage. Sits right next to the I-5 and state route 22 behind a home depot. Very noisy. Like most older parks there are many perms on the south end. Sad part is management has let them build shanties next to their RVs so it looks really trashy. Most of the North end is for the overnighters. The DSL switch is failing so didn't work. Good news, you can log on to Home Depots DSL. Management are park residents so they are easy to work with. Maintenance is almost everyday. It was OK for a few days. I thought it was a $10.00 overpriced for the age and condition. We camped at Salem RV park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Located on the south end of Lancaster, a major business road.
Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $29.00
The owners and staff here were so nice! The park is beautifully maintained and convenient to all the stores along Lancaster Road. Loved the laundry room; good prices and very clean! If we're ever in Salem again, we will definitely stay here. We camped at Salem RV park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $45.00
They say they are pet friendly and even have a dog area but my cat accidentally got loose and they caught her and called animal control, even though she had my cell phone number on her tag and I listed her on my paperwork. My children also got into trouble for riding their skateboards down the "Adult only" street, we were not told that they had a separate family and adult only section. Lots of traffic coming and going due to the on site storage facility. Nice and quiet during the night, not good for long term stay but OK for a night or two. We camped at Salem RV park in a Motorhome.
