Exactly what you'd expect from a Thousand Trails. Older park, not fancy or particularly nice, but 'fine'. We stayed in the section near the pool, site wasn't level, lawn was rutted up and dotted with large ant hills. Staff interactions were good. Close to central Seaside which is a plus. I'd come back, but it's definitely not a resort campground I'd spend all day in. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

I am a TT member and concur with the latest review. At this point I wish I wasn't a member to see how my $ isn't being used. We have had power issues since we arrived and promised, by the manager, to have someone look at it. It is now a week; no one has appeared. A 'field' outside has grasses 18"-24" high. Mud holes and potholes dominate the roads. Then there seemed to be a need to add speed bumps. No problem in keeping the speed down to the 5 MPH. It would be difficult to even go that fast. Either badly understaffed or poorly managed. Either way, a poor excuse for a Thousand Trails campground. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

This is by far the best Thousand Trails resort we have been in so far. They actually have amenities: clubhouse, pool, etc. Everything was clean and well maintained our site. Our site was level and spacious. This park should be the model for Thousand Trails to use to make improvements to all the rest of their parks.

The only things that concerned me was the number of chained off sites (many were vacant) that were personal sites. We drove past no fewer than 12 sites that were vacant but chained off before we found one we could park at. The other thing that I was disappointed with is just before we checked out they installed a "speed curb" I had to climb over with the RV. I personally hadn't noticed a speed problem and before this, found the roads well maintained and easy to maneuver. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

We're not a TT member and if we were, I'd be very upset! Stayed at KOA for a few nights before, but had to find another park due to them being full and unable to extend our stay there. This TT "resort" is such a disappointment! So glad we're not members! Mud, potholes, rotten wood picnic tables, grass that sorely needs to be mowed and on and on... It might have been nice at one time but not anymore. So happy we're not members!!!!!! We'll never be back for sure! We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park with a very nice indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Not too many available spaces as the long term people seem to hold most. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

First time staying at a TT park. We stayed here in a 43' motorhome using a promotional offer. Check in is at the front guard gate and your told to find your own site. The CG is extensive and we finally found a vacant site in the last loop. We noticed that many sites were empty but had a white plastic chain across the front. Later we learned that these are seasonal owners. The road in is paved but the loops are large gravel. No cable and our site backed into huge trees blocking our satellite reception. All we had was OTA TV. All our neighbors were permanent and had trailers or 5th wheels permanently parked on their sites. We woke up the next day to the sound lawn mowers to find our next door neighbor mowing their grass. There is a nice heated indoor pool and recreation area but overall the park needs maintenance. We would not stay here again. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

We camped on the north side near the pool. It is a very busy campground but quiet. This works as a good base for trips to Tillamook, Long Beach, Astoria and Cannon Beach. The ocean is close and shopping is touristy as well as an outlet mall. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV park is only a few blocks away from a cinema and outlet mall as well as about a 1/2 mile from the ocean. Sea Side is one of the nicest Thousand Trails parks we have stayed at (on par with Orlando and Williamsburg). The park itself is split into 2 - South and North. You check into the South Side but the pool and hot tub (enclosed and nice) are on the North Side so it is worth checking that side for availability first. Our site was on the road directly across from the pool and family recreation room with ping pong, billiards, TV, etc. They even made Ice Cream Sundaes one of the days! We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

We stayed here with our children recently for the first time. We were sadly disappointed. Sites were on the smaller side but we were lucky enough to find one with some room to stretch our arms, our site was littered with wrappers and utensils when we arrived and there was a constant sewer smell, even before we hooked up. Sites do not have fire pits, but you can rent them for $7 per night. At nearly $60 a night it was very disappointing. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

Specific sites can't be reserved. We were aware of this and had to drive through and find an empty site. Gravel sites and not level. Attendant was very "military" in his actions. No "welcoming" attitude at all. Members are in a different area, but we were made to feel like second-class visitors. We will not stay here again. One of the nicer Thousand Trails parks. We parked on the North side. They do have a no parking on the grass policy. The problem: the actual site (grass and dirt/gravel) IS wide enough and long enough but the area designated to park your rig and vehicle (the dirt/gravel area) is too short. We have a 36 ft. 5th wheel and a long bed truck. So, we had to park our truck away from our site, across the road from our rig...don't like that at all. The pool is supposed to be open until 10 PM but they start asking you to get out about 30 min prior to that. Also, the staff is a bit arrogant. We encountered the attitude when we stayed here 6 years ago. We also noticed that the park is not as 'neat and tidy' as it was 6 years ago. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

We are members of Thousand Trails so stayed here for free. Our site 119 was great for wifi and open for Dome Direct TV. Large grassy spot in back of our trailer for our dog. Rangers cracking jokes: they love their jobs! Best RV park on the west coast so far with Thousand Trails. We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

With an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna, it makes Seaside one of my favorites of all the Thousand Trails I have visited thus far. The facilities at the Seaside Oregon Thousand Trails are some of the best and cleanest I have seen at any campgrounds I have visited. Plus the beach is within walking distance with all the great shops close by.

The staff are really helpful and go above and beyond, especially the Seaside Membership Specialist. I love this campground so much I upgraded my zone pass to an Elite Membership with the 365 stay option.

My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner, so I am telling everyone I know about this great alternative to living.

It definitely beats renting anywhere in the state, and definitely the most affordable option as far as campgrounds go! We camped at Seaside Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.
