4 RV Parks near Silver Lake, Oregon
May 2018 - $5.00
Of the three campgrounds on or near Thompson Reservoir, this is hands-down the best. Paved, almost pothole-free road all the way in, plus paved loop and sites. At least two sites that can take a big rig. Beautiful sunsets. Fish in the lake. Geese and pelicans in abundance. Very weak cell signal, but some camp neighbors were getting calls. - Old Mountain Man
May 2015 - $25.00
Right in town and behind a great cafe. Back in sites but plenty of room to turn in. - Country Coach RVer
May 2014 - $25.00
This park is in the process of changing ownership. The new owner was on-site and said they will be improving and expanding the RV park. The RV park is well situated in the center of town, right across the street from the city park which has a playground and tennis courts. There is a restaurant, gift shop, and grocery store right there. The 9 hole golf course is just down the street. The RV park has a large green lawn running the length of the park so each site backs up to trees and grass. The sites are gravel and had plenty of room for our 40' fifth wheel. Although we did have to unhitch to fit we were able to park our HDT right in front of our site. There was plenty of room to maneuver the rig into the back in site. The wifi was not working while we were there but the new owner intends to get it up and running soon. The park is clean and well maintained and is pet friendly. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. - blz

Payment is cash or check, you get an envelope out of a box, fill it out with information/payment, then poke it thru a slot in the door of the office. I called first and was told, yes they had room for my RV/truck, and to take space XX. GPS wanted to take me on a road that would have got me there...eventually. I opted to go by directions given on their website and all was well. At 60' long I had to adjust my entry into the space but it worked out OK. Water/Power worked as they should and the laundry was clean and reasonable. - Ella18

Rate is with Escapees discount. This is another lovely, well maintained park that's off the beaten track. I don't know if it was the owners or camp hosts that we met, but they were very friendly and offered information about things to do in the area. Park is big rig friendly and all sites are pull-throughs. Some of the sites, however, require a bit of forethought before entering. Due to the large rocks that are at the edges of some of the sites, it's easier if you approach the sites from a particular direction. Sites are gravel with a decent amount of grassy area between each site. There are showers and restrooms, but we didn't use them. There is a tent area as well. Verizon data and cell worked well. We would definitely stay again if passing through the area. - Guinness
Apr 2017 - $28.00
Lovely little park overlooking the Summer Lake Valley. Quiet and very clean with ample width in our pull through space. Open year round and without the crowds! - BackCountryRoamers
Jun 2016 - $10.00
This is a paradise for birders. The camping areas on the refuge are several. We dry camped at Bullgate under trees which were the home of 3 large owls. There were 2 pit toilets. We camped on grass in a level spot.
Spent 2 nights and saw many species of birds. Many gravel roads criss cross the large refuge where you can bird from the vehicle. - waterwoman
