We came in late for a 1-nighter. Everything was ready for us. Wonderful park. Nice rural feel. Far enough away from the freeway to feel good, not so far to feel like a long way. The little town is great. A wonderful place to spend some time. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We spent 4 nights as a shake down trip on our new fifth wheel. The park is well kept. The sites are spacious and easy to get into. The staff are very gracious and pleasant. There is some road noise but it's really very minimal. Great place to stay to visit the Oregon Gardens, Silver Falls State Park or attend the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Easy trip into Portland. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. Good interior roads and level spaces. Reasonable grass distance between spaces. The staff is very friendly. We use this campground to see the area. The park has nice facilities (no Pool) and is well maintained. Recommend this camp ground when in the area. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have actually returned here a few times! The staff is very friendly, the park sites are clean, large, WIFI and cable is steady and secure, the washers and dryers are very reasonably priced AND clean (because many public w/d are gross). Our gravel sites have always been perfectly level and the grass in our picnic area is green and soft. Very nice landscaping and the main building is like a lodge. Honestly, it's as nice a park as the more expensive ones! That's mainly why we've come back, too. We just happened to have business to take care of in Salem, and this park was close enough for us. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are some local shops you could walk to if so inclined. The RV office does have some items for sale in it's shop. There is also a coffee bar and popcorn for guests throughout the day.

Nice park close to downtown, we have stayed here often. The sites are large gravel with a patch of grass and a picnic table. Laundry is clean. There is a little traffic noise from 213, but not enough to keep us awake. Overall, it is a beautiful park. Thinking of staying here 3-6 months down the road. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Good places to eat are Creekside Cafe, the Mexican Restaurant by Safeway, and Home Place Restaurant. Also, the have a Dutch Brothers now! Murals in town, fresh fruit out 215, and Salem is 15 minute drive. Portland is 35-40 minutes. Wonderful, small-town atmosphere. Be sure to go to Mt. Angel for sausage and the Glockenspiel, which goes off several times a day. Just a great place to stay.

Nice RV park with wide sites. The club house is very nice with fireplace, TV and meeting area. The staff was very friendly. There are a lot of long term guests but all sites were clean and well maintained. It rained and it looked like some of the sites have drainage issues, but once the rain stopped the water slowly went away. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The WiFi work well and good satellite reception. The only complaint was that there was a lot of road noise at our site. We would stay there again provided we could get a site farther back from the road. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here with a 21' Class C. Sites graveled with interior roads graveled. We have stayed here before and noticed a great improvement from 2 years ago. The site was slightly uneven. No shade, but that is why we have an awning. Sites are adequately spaced for a slideout + awning. Parking for tow adjacent to site. Our only problem was water pressure. We had 40 psi, which is not enough to shower or rinse the toilet bowl. We needed to turn on the water pump, which concerned me about water being leached back into the campground. However, I filled our fresh water tank using their water filtered. Must be a water conservation issue. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Oregon Garden and restaurant at the Oregon Garden Resort very good. Mural walk in Silverton. Mt Angel Abbey close by and worth the trip. Glockenspiel Restaurant in Mt. Angel. Mt. Angel Octoberfest in September. Will need to extend your stay at Silver Spur and book early. Shuttle from campground to Mt. Angel.

This is the second time we've used this park and we really like it. As other reviews said it's all gravel but level sites and good utilities. What really impressed us is the excellent wifi. Very good at all times even in the evenings when most users are online. Park would rate a 10 if it had a pool. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

They have a catch and release fishing pond that's great for the visiting grandkids. Stocked blue gill and occasional catfish keep it fun for the kids.

The staff here is wonderful! The lodge is comfy with leather couches, fireplace, library and coffee selection. The wood carving is amazing! The laundry room is nice and clean as well as inexpensive. Be careful on entrance and exit though, they are one way. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The small town of Silverton was convenient. Nice grocery store, excellent restaurant on water, Creekside Grille. ND Tap House was a nice place to try local brews. Silver Falls State Park about miles away features 10 waterfalls in an 8 mile moderate hike.

Stayed 1 night in a 45 ft. motorcoach. Site was large. Nice park and we would have stayed longer but park was booked up for a rally. Very clean bath/showers and laundry. Terrific area for sight-seeing. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gravel roads and large, level sites with grass under picnic table. Some trees, not mature enough to provide shade but the climate doesn't require much relief from the sun. Easy access to the Oregon Garden and Silver Falls State Park from here. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground, easy to navigate. Great office area and restrooms. Lots of places to walk your dog.

Gravel parking spaces, did tend to get water when it rained hard.

This is very close to the ORegon Garden, which is where we were attending a conference. Very convenient. We will stay here again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Roads and sites are gravel, crushed rock, grass between sites, young shade trees. Laundry clean, $1 wash-$1 dry, several machines. Playground area for children. Lots of room. CTV, good Wi-Fi, 30/50AMP, good water and sewer connections. On highway but no road noise. A restful place to anchor for a few days before moving on and we will definitely return in the future. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
