Great park about 15 miles of downtown Salem near the Oregon Garden and Silver Falls State Park. Not much shade, but large sites and good Wi-Fi. Great value with Passport America! Plenty of rooms for big rigs. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

There is easy access via OR-213 to interior roads that are gravel/crushed rock. Sites are mostly level with plenty of parking space. CATV is free at each site. The lakes are for fishing only. There is playground equipment for kids. The office/Recreation building is neat and clean and a nice lounge with a roaring fire place. Staff is friendly and efficient. Exchange library is a little meager. Propane is available on site at $2.79. Services are minutes from your site and fuel prices are excellent. There are places to see and wineries to visit if interested. We have stayed here before and will return when through the area in the future. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Safeway is close by and the rewards card is accepted by at least one of the stations in town. There are speed bumps set up in the park and the interior roads and all the sites are compacted gravel/crushed rock. This is a great park. Laundry is $1 wash, $1 dry and very clean. Restrooms and showers in the lodge are spotless.

Passport America rate. I would have given this Park a 10, but there are two things that prevented that. #1. There is only one wifi connection allowed at each site. #2. the only exit from the park is in an easterly direction, is very narrow, and it is next to impossible to turn west where it meets the Hwy.There are so many positives however, a lot of which have been mentioned by other reviewers. Ample areas to walk your dog in the park, and a fenced off leash dog park with small dog large dog areas in town (drive towards town, take first right at the light, and go down to the seniors center). Good cable TV, and a bunch of HD channels OTA. A bit of noise in the morning from the Hwy, but not too bad. Friendly staff, heated wash rooms, children's play area, great buildings, and very quiet and clean sites around the resident RVers. The town boasts murals, and the huge "Oregon Gardens". This is our second visit here, and we will stay here again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We love this park and come back often. It is in the beautiful town of Silverton. It is quiet, and the spaces are large. Only complaint is that they have installed speed bumps, which while necessary, are a little high and are made of rock, so a little hard on the RV as it goes over them. They had a Cowboy Night while we were there; $30 for 4 meals including a steak dinner, and entertainment. Food is always delicious and entertainment was good. They have lots of Friday and Saturday night activities. Silverton has lots to offer and is only 15 minutes from Salem. We hope to live here eventually, and will stay at the park for at least a year, while finding a home. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate is PPA. Free solid WiFi, Free Cable but you can use your antenna as well, good reception. Gravel big pull thrus, with grass and small trees. Very friendly staff, excellent maintained campground. Convienient near the Factory Outlet Woodburn, the small town Silverton, Silver Falls State park and all the other big shops you need are in Salem. Lots to do. Very quiet just off the I-5. We sure come back. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This park was as advertised. New and excellent! I don't think I have ever been checked in so quickly and easily. We were in our site quickly, set up and all things worked as advertised. This is a big park with plenty of room for all. I don't know what the attraction is about Salem as I noticed that all of the campgrounds had excellent ratings. We called for a reservation and even that wasn't necessary. We only spent one night but if the needs comes, we'll be back here again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $31.00
The park was clean and lots of spacing in the sites. My major complaint was the lack of consideration for ALL guests. They had a movie night and the sound could be darn near heard into the next county. Then came a rally and basically they took over the place with their activities and gatherings and noise. We just wanted some nice peace and quiet after hiking, etc. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate reflects Passport America Discount. Very nice park. Gravel roads and spaces but grass at each site. Laundry room ($1 per load which is lower than at other locations). Club House with many activities on weekends. Solid WiFi. Only thing missing is shade but otherwise a 10. Would definitely stay again. In fact extended our stay. Love, love, love this park. We drove out of our way about 8 miles to stay away from I-5 and we discovered a gem. Therefore, on our way home from our trip we stopped here again for two nights. The park is located on a busy stretch of road which depending on your space can be a little annoying. The first time we stayed we were further back and didn't hear any road noise. Second time we were closer to the front of the park and could hear the road noise. Didn't matter to us as the park is so great. They have all the amenities listed in other reviews, plus an espresso/latte machine for us North-westerner's; a build your own banana split time on Friday night's and an excellent continental (was really much more) breakfast on Saturday mornings. There is a minimal fee for both of these events. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and helpful. There is also a game room, beautiful restrooms, showers and laundry. The only reason I gave this a 9 instead of a 10 is 1) for the dust 2) the road noise on our second visit 3) they should install toilet seat covers. We are already planning to go back again and stay for a longer amount of time. Rate reflect Passport America. Love this park. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $36.00
We have stayed here twice. Very clean and maintained RV sites. The reason for the *9* is because of lack of room between sites. They had a free Friday movie night on the lawn - with fun eats and desserts for a very small price. Located only a half hour from beautiful Silver Falls State Park. We would recommend staying at Silver Spur. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a terrific park. All personnel are very friendly especially the gal at the front desk. The landscaping is gorgeous and very well maintained as are all of the sites. Level site, hook ups worked perfectly and the Wi-Fi was fast and free. This was our second visit in 3 years and we will definitely come back again. This should be the operating model of how RV parks should be run. The attention to detail is awesome! We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate is Passport America discount. Parking lanes and friendly greeting at check-in. Gravel park roads and sites. Our site was a level pull-through with enough room for a big rig and toad. A small table included as well. All hookups worked fine. Cable TV fairly limited with 19 channels. Wi-Fi worked fine for browsing and e-mail. It is limited to one device per site. The office has a beautiful lounge area with some interesting wooden sculptures. I would come back here if in the area. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

RPI rate. Chose this CG for a change of pace and a little more distance from the interstate. A great CG with pull-thru full hook ups, 30/50 AMP with CTV and on site Wi-Fi. Plenty of room to park the tow vehicle or toad on each site. Gravel with grass strips between sites, young shade trees and easy access. Private catch and release ponds, kid friendly, and club house with just about everything. CG propane refills were $2.79 gallon during our stay. Staff made us feel welcome and offered advice and directions on local sightseeing stuff. We definitely will return when we are back in the area. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $40.00
Large RV park with 130 sites. Most are pull thrus with just a few back ins. It is Passport America so you can cut the price in half. Very nice lodge (office) with fireplace, small store, free coffee and popcorn. Good laundry area with washers and dryers at only $1.00 each. Restrooms are clean. Showers are nicely tiled and heated which is nice in cooler weather! WiFi is strong. The only problem was our cable did not work but was able to run the wire to the next site. Landscaping is very professional and well maintained. Fishing pond on the property as well as pet area. Would stay again. Close to Woodburn for the tulip festival and Mt. Angel for a great sausage sandwich. Would definitely stop here again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We stayed one week prior to the Octoberfest in Mt. Angel. Well maintained facility with friendly management. Enjoyed two dollar breakfast on Saturday morning. Ice cream social and bar-b-que was available during our stay. Enjoyed the peaceful setting many local fresh fruit and vegetable stands. Mt. Angel is a quaint German village worth seeing.
