What a great park! Super friendly staff! Office provides a store with some snack merchandise. Book exchange there too. Game room, a card room, and covered outdoor area where fee-breakfast is served every Saturday! We were there the last day of September so breakfast was FREE!!! Camp sites are packed gravel as are the roadways. Sites are 55' long so I had to disconnect my car hauler trailer since we are 60' long. Sites are fairly level. Plenty of width room at site to drop trailer, move forward a little and back into my site next to my trailer with room to extend slides. Grassed patio with a picnic table. Power pole and hookups are close by. Cable TV and good WiFi included. Easy access to town. Exit is a little strange requiring a sharp and short left turn to a stop sign, then a sharp left turn to gain access to 213, aka Silverton Rd. Park is super clean and well-cared for and maintained. I would certainly return when in the area. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very well maintained and clean park. Considerable highway noise. Beware of the picnic tables though, they are easily tipped over when weight is only on one side of the table. It happened twice to our party, so management must be aware of the problem. Luckily there were no serious injuries, this time. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Busy park with a mix of short stays and very long stays. The park is clean and well maintained with good sized gravel sites and easy to navigate gravel roads. We were in the front row and had lots of road noise from Hwy 213. The entrance and the exit are separate; we needed to turn left onto 213 to leave and it was more than a 90 degree turn which can be challenging with a larger rig. Verizon phone and 4G worked well. The park is a good base for visiting the area and we would likely stay again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We wanted somewhere close to the Willamette Valley wineries around Dundee. This ended up being about a 45 minute drive, but what a lovely RV Park. The restrooms could be updated, but they are just fine, and the cleanliness was excellent. We used the laundry. It was great. The only qualm I might mention is that the office closes at normal business hours (I think 5 p.m.). I didn't see children of any age on site. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

I loved the groves and blueberry fields around us. Salem is 11 miles. Silverton is a little out of the way, but much bigger than I expected. Don't miss it. There is a nice breakfast place on the north side of town as you're leaving.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of things to do. Wineries orchards & the like. Went to casino one day & took the backroads. This trip to the casino included the shortest ferry ride of our life. The ferry crosses a 200 foot wide river & the charge was $2 for our pickup. Very nice people live in the Salem/Silverton area.

We enjoyed our stay at Silver Spur - it was conveniently located to town, the falls and the Oregon Garden. There is a great dog park a short drive or walk away from the park. Good cell signal, nice laundry area, friendly service. Our site was level - we just wished the trees were bigger since it was HOT while we were there! We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Silver Creek Coffee is a great little spot - you can sit on the creek and enjoy your coffee and a delicious scone! We enjoyed having a dog park nearby - it was usually empty when we took our dog to chase her ball!

Nice park for a night or two. Very clean park. Utilities well placed. Cable TV. No pool or spa. Small off leash dog run. Good Verizon signal. Short walking trail. Quiet. Railroad tracks right next to the park but they are rusty so must be rare usage. No train for the two days I was here. Interior roads are gravel with speed bumps. Small grass area between sites. Nice clubhouse. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

We came in late for a 1-nighter. Everything was ready for us. Wonderful park. Nice rural feel. Far enough away from the freeway to feel good, not so far to feel like a long way. The little town is great. A wonderful place to spend some time. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We spent 4 nights as a shake down trip on our new fifth wheel. The park is well kept. The sites are spacious and easy to get into. The staff are very gracious and pleasant. There is some road noise but it's really very minimal. Great place to stay to visit the Oregon Gardens, Silver Falls State Park or attend the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Easy trip into Portland. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. Good interior roads and level spaces. Reasonable grass distance between spaces. The staff is very friendly. We use this campground to see the area. The park has nice facilities (no Pool) and is well maintained. Recommend this camp ground when in the area. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have actually returned here a few times! The staff is very friendly, the park sites are clean, large, WIFI and cable is steady and secure, the washers and dryers are very reasonably priced AND clean (because many public w/d are gross). Our gravel sites have always been perfectly level and the grass in our picnic area is green and soft. Very nice landscaping and the main building is like a lodge. Honestly, it's as nice a park as the more expensive ones! That's mainly why we've come back, too. We just happened to have business to take care of in Salem, and this park was close enough for us. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are some local shops you could walk to if so inclined. The RV office does have some items for sale in it's shop. There is also a coffee bar and popcorn for guests throughout the day.

Nice park close to downtown, we have stayed here often. The sites are large gravel with a patch of grass and a picnic table. Laundry is clean. There is a little traffic noise from 213, but not enough to keep us awake. Overall, it is a beautiful park. Thinking of staying here 3-6 months down the road. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Good places to eat are Creekside Cafe, the Mexican Restaurant by Safeway, and Home Place Restaurant. Also, the have a Dutch Brothers now! Murals in town, fresh fruit out 215, and Salem is 15 minute drive. Portland is 35-40 minutes. Wonderful, small-town atmosphere. Be sure to go to Mt. Angel for sausage and the Glockenspiel, which goes off several times a day. Just a great place to stay.
