4 Parks near Sisters, Oregon
May 2015 - $40.00
We stayed for two nights on our way over to the Oregon coast. Immaculate location, spacious room between spots. Cable TV only had 5 channels, I expected more. Spot was clean, all have grass and some sort of shade. Many have big pines. Service hookup pedestal very clean and 50 amp service. Water pressure fine.
A bit overboard with all the keep your dogs off the grass signs. At least they allow pets but the two pet areas are a ways from most rv spots. No dog is gonna walk all the way to one of these two spot whilst going past grass and not at least want to pee. If folks would just adhere to practice of carrying bags to clean up and do it maybe they wouldn't have all the no dogs on grass signs.
Staff friendly, check in quick and a nice touch of having an escort to the spot. Takes all the confusion out.
We are returning on our way back for 1 night stop over heading back to our home in Idaho. - ChuckS
May 2015 - $49.00
As noted by other reviewers, the park is a visual gem. Nicely manicured sites. They pick up your garbage if you just leave it outside. You get the feeling of a very controlled environment. You are advised that you can be fined if your dog wanders onto their grass or flowers to do their business. Signs warn you to keep pets off the grass and flowers. There is a large field adjoining the park where they have the Sisters Rodeo. Pets have lots of room for roaming and nature calls. Downside as noted by other reviewers, Wi-Fi and cable TV is not up to acceptable modern standards. The park staffer who escorted us to our site told us to use our own TV antenna not the park cable. Wi-Fi drops signal constantly so rely on your cellular data service. A park like this in our home state of California would be twice the price. - Budeye
Apr 2015 - $38.00
This is a very beautiful park with all the finest amenities! Both couples in our party would stay here again and recommend to any other RVers. The only two negatives are the rather confusing signage related to the dog potty areas. Then the name of the park implying that it is located in Bend, OR. This park is just a couple of miles outside Sisters, OR but we spent an hour getting lost in Bend looking for it! Then drove the 16 or so miles North to the actual location. We loved the place once we found it. This is a class A park for any size RV. Very well groomed grounds. Bath/shower buildings were immaculate and very well engineered for comfort and privacy. Will visit again! - BornFreeGary

Cold Springs Resort Campground is bar none, the epitome of peaceful camping. Small and secluded from the main road but located right on the mighty Metolius River. Camp Sherman, OR is just a 14 mile jaunt from Sisters, OR, but not nearly as well known. Most folks don't realize that Camp Sherman is not a camp, but a tiny town. Visit this pristine park and you will be stepping back in time with acres of manicured green grass, epic fly fishing, hiking and cycling opportunities and the best resident managers on Earth! It is within walking distance to everything you need for all your outdoor activities, and welcoming enough to make you want to stay all year long. We camped here in a 37 foot 5th wheel with two dogs for 12 nights and, honestly, did not want to leave. All sites on the stream are electric and water only and on full grass. The full hookup sites are as spacious and offer large grass coverage as well but are back-ins on level, gravel driveways. There is a small playground and river front cabins to suit all your vacation needs. Make a plan to visit this little gem of a resort and discover a whole lot of Camp Sherman charm. - RVLife4us
Aug 2011 - $7.00
Our rate reflects the Senior Passport. Located 5 miles from Sisters City on Hwy 242, it is a short, straight drive into town. This is a campground, pit toilets (which were clean), no showers, with a dirt access road and sites. Most sites were pull through, sort of a loop along side of the access road. We have a 28' TT, easy to get in most sites, but there are trees and branches to watch out for. Full price still makes this a better location to the Sisters if you don't mind dry camping. We would return here. - 10-10
Jun 2012 - $12.00
This is a standard forest service campground with a pit toilet in the center but no frills. There are lots of tall trees but a few spots have several hours of sunlight if you need to recharge solar panels. The loop road is paved; the sites are dirt. Each site has an old picnic table and fire pit with a metal grate. The sites are huge and your neighbors won't be close. Some road noise from highway 22. One loop is for tents; one loop for RVs. More scenic sites are nearby along the Metolius River, near Camp Sherman. - John Mosley

Jun 2015 - $35.00
This campground is almost perfect, and we really enjoyed our stay. It's rustic, with gravel lots and grass/dirt sites and many pine trees. There are a wide variety of sites including 50 amp RV, 30 amp RV, van, and tent sites. The best part about the campground is that it's right in Sisters, and the entire town is within easy walking distance. There's a very large grass area where we took our dogs daily, and the campground is adjacent to the Sisters City Park with more grass and the Sisters State Park which is mostly dirt and pine trees. We never ran out of places to walk the dogs. There was very little highway noise from our site at the west end of the campground, but sites closer to the highway might get traffic noise including many trucks. The camp hosts were friendly, and many people had campfires nightly. It was very busy on the weekend, much less during the week. The only drawback is the size of some of the sites. Our site (#6, 30 amp) was quite nice with plenty of camping space as well as grass and trees behind us, but many other sites were much smaller (but still acceptable), so your enjoyment might depend on getting a good site (or having no neighbor). There's no WiFi but our AT&T and Verizon had strong signals. We would definitely return. - LifeRebooted
Jun 2015 - $35.00
The campground is a City park that is in town and right off of hwy 20 and very easy to find. The park has a few 50 amp, more 30 amp and several tent sites. We noticed there are some sites that do not have sewer, but there is a dump station. There is one bathroom area. There are two very large showers for paying guests only separate from the toilets which are public. The campground is located in the pines and next to a creek. It's a clean park with camp hosts. The sites are normal size with a picnic table and fire ring are relatively level that are gravel. The road itself is asphalt. We had full hookups with 50 amp service. The campground is right in town and a very easy walk to restaurants and bars. Overall the campground is quiet. We'd stay here again. - Jjtrips
Jul 2014 - $30.00
This is a great RV park within walking distance to the town of Sisters. The staff were great and very customer service friendly. Many green areas around the park. It is a little dusty in the park. There are many trees within the park so you should be experienced in driving and backing upon your RV if you come here. Each space has a picnic table and fire pit. We will come back. - User2916
