14 Parks near Stanfield, Oregon
Sep 2016 - $31.00
Pulled in after fueling up at the diesel pumps, booked for 2 nites and then one more. One of the cleanest parks we've seen for awhile. We parked in space 1 which is right next to semi overnite parking. Noise really didn't bother us. Loved the grass between sites and it's kept neatly trimmed. Each site has a really nice picnic table on cement and a chain link fence with slats to give you privacy from the next site. Will stay here when ever in the area. Management was really friendly. - sgtjoe44
Aug 2016 - $31.00
Used as a stopover on a longer trip. A bit of an unusual park as it is attached to a Pilot Truck stop. Park is in the back of the truck stop. Check in is all self service - find a spot and park then put payment in an envelope and insert in lock box. There are staff around. I called the park manager at the number on the billboard to get WiFi code and restroom combos. Lots of trucks idling in the lot next to the park but it really didn't bother us. Our pull through was easy to negotiate but some may have been challenging b/o trees and narrow roads. Overall a pleasant stopping place with groceries, McDonalds, Subway etc a walk across parking lot. Would stay here again. - dfwcantor
Oct 2015 - $31.00
Easy access to I-84, paved and level sites with a little grass strip. Park was clean and sits next to a Pilot truck stop. A good place to stop for the night. We stayed in a 42-footer. - cwousa
May 2011 - $24.00
This is a small tight park off of US 395. There was only 2 spaces left in the park when we stayed and the sites are small and tight. The park is attended by one of the tenants. We did not have any problems. We used their laundry room and it was fine. I would use this park again but not for a long term stay of more than a week. The prices were good at $24.00 per night. - Tony Campos
Jun 2010 - $26.00
This is a very well kept park. The sites are level and shaded. There are many resident units in there but not a problem as all are well kept. This is the best choice in this town as the other is in a truck stop parking lot. My only negatives on this park are noise from the highway, a train that goes by on occasion, and no wi-fi. It is a good overnight stop if you are in the area and need a decent place to stay. It also has a nice laundry. - petendoll
Jul 2013 - $15.00
Bare bones RV park. Has nice laundry facilities. Good water pressure. Lots of long-term residents. Office only open a few hours a day. Office staff very nice and helpful. - J59T
Sep 2016 - $32.00
We stayed at Pioneer RV during the Pendleton Round-Up. When we first tried to make our reservations we were put on a wait list as the park was full, needing two spaces as traveling with another party. The staff called us back in June and told us they had two spots that came open and booked us. The price of $32.00 per night was due to Round-Up pricing.
Overall this park is very nice, would have given a 10 rating but the traffic on the city street was very loud, particularly from the large trucks which were there due to onion harvest that was going on. Even when you sat outside the trucks and other cars were very noticeable and at times annoying.
It appears they put the overnighters or short term stays up near the road as a lot of the spaces were full with long term tenants, who appear to me local workers. I will say they do maintain this park and don't allow for trashy looking spaces. All spaces have a green grass patch between them, with sprinklers that are adjusted so as to not water your vehicles or RV.
Sewer hose needs to be long if you have a mid length dump as all sewer hook-ups are at the back of the site, water and power are mid site. 30-50 amp. The sites are well lit at night with a soft light.
Sites along fence are back in, but the majority of the sites are paved, level, and pull through. Paved roadway within the park and ample space to maneuver larger rigs, watched several large motor coaches and big 5er's coming and going with no apparent problems getting in our out.
Would stay again, staff was very friendly and stopped by to let us know that the grass would be mowed the next morning so we needed to move our chairs off the grass. They did mow and it started about 8:00am, but the crew was pretty quick and didn't leave any mess. - Sherwolfe
Sep 2016 - $29.00
Very neat and clean park. Spaces are tightly packed but easy to get and out of. We barely had room to park the car in what they called a 60ft site. Staff was very nice. Laundry was in great shape and clean. Park is convenient to town and easy to get to from either direction. Power was good and the WiFi was very usable. - houseonwheels
Jul 2016 - $20.00
We have stayed here several times. It is a nice, clean, easy to get into park. The people are very efficient and nice. We enjoy stopping at this park when traveling west. It is a very good value and the sites and grounds are well maintained. We will stay again. - Tschachers
Sep 2012 - $17.00
PA rate. I can agree with the May-Aug reviews except that we found our site, 301, to be subject to a lot of road noise. But 301 is one of the sites closest to the highway. Friendly staff, clean, lots of "permanents". Cable good, couldn't get the wifi password to work. - rncordy
Jul 2012 - $22.00
We arrived late on a very hot July evening, and paid the fee since the office was closed. We did use the restroom/showers. It's an attractive park with lots of grass and trees. The bugs weren't bad, especially considering the proximity to the river. The nearby road wasn't loud or busy, and we found the park quiet. The only problem we had, andand it was significant for us, was the bright yard light in the center of the park. Because of the heat, we had to keep the windows and curtains open for ventilation so the light was intense. We had to leave early so we didn't happen to meet the owners or check out the camp store. This is a quiet, clean, and reasonably-priced camp. I'd not hesitate to return. If one must keep the curtains open; however, avoid the glare of the yard lights. - User2873
May 2011 - $19.00
Called ahead from I-84 and was told that sites were available, only to drive 10 miles out of the way to find the place full. grrrr. This place looks kind of dumpy with many permanents and one rather unsavory character observed. Will not return and hope to warn others of this miscommunication from the owner. It was full so we moved on. - saturn7
Jun 2007 - $30.00
The manager was easy to deal with. The park is mostly gravel covered. It was a nice quiet park. - two
Oct 2016 - $32.00
Campground is in great shape. Sites are level and plenty big for your big rig and a toad. Lots of areas to walk your dog and enjoy the Columbia River. Hook-ups are located in the proper place and all worked great. This is a gem of a campground. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. - illini777
Oct 2016 - $32.00
We always like to stay here The sites are wide and long both the back-ins and pull through. The park is well maintained and very nice staff. There is some traffic noise but not enough to offset the positives. The views of the Columbia and marina. Great place to relax and watch the river. - JDR
Sep 2016 - $34.00
Stopped here for an overnight because almost all the other parks in the area were full. Other than being a little off the beaten path, the facilities were great. Plenty of trees, site was level, wifi worked well, over the air TV was adequate, restrooms and showers were clean and the park was well maintained. We'd definitely stay here again. - blokeman
Sep 2016 - $24.00
This is our first stay at a COE park after 10 yrs traveling in a MH. What a surprise at how very nice this park was. We parked 2 nights there while we visited Couer d'Alene Idaho before heading to the Oregon Coast. This is a shady clean park with mostly pull thru sites. The sites are terrific! They are large, parallel to the road and very easy pull in and out. We would definitely stay here again and will investigate COE parks from now on. The price and design are great. - Gramma5
Aug 2016 - $14.00
Lovely COE CG near the Columbia but not on it. Large newly paved sites. Some 30 amp and some 5 amp. Good Verizon signal. Very friendly hosts. Very clean. One of the best COE we have stayed in. Not a lot of site and quite busy so reservations during the busy season would be advised. As with all Fed CG the need for tree trimming is apparent. And as most COE CGs the dump station was large and easily accessed. - rhianna
Aug 2016 - $27.00
This is the first time I have stayed at a COE campground and I have to say I was very impressed with what we found. Originally, I made our reservations on-line and after travelling for nearly 600kms it was very nice to be greeted by name as though we knew the hosts from a previous visit. The hosts continued to be very helpful and supportive throughout the stay.
Nearly all sites appear to be very level asphalt pull-though coming off either side of the asphalt loop road. Our was long enough to host our 40' 5er and full sized truck. The 50-amp power didn't work which I reported but everything else was in good working order. Each site has a large gravel patio with a picnic table and fire pit. Trees provide welcome shade for the heat of the day. There is no cable tv but we got about 12 OTA stations and satellite looks possible. No wi-fi anywhere but cell phone signals do reach. There is a small laundry room with one washing machine and one drier. A wash cycle turned out to be $1.25 and took about 35 minutes.
On the mens side the was one shower, two stalls and a couple of hand sinks. The bathrooms are slightly dated but clean and looked after. It is just a shame that some people seem unable to flush after using the toilets!
Whilst alongside the Columbia River, none of the sites can really be classed as riverside or river access. There is a small beach/swimming area and separate boat launch at a different section of the park.
There was some road noise from the I-82 and trains do pass within 800 yds but the noise of these was easily surpassed on a night by the cicadas. - Hutch333id
Jul 2015 - $25.00
No shade here on a windy bluff. Cash only. They turned out the lights in the laundry at 9pm while I was using it. Said they lock em up. Most sites were long term rentals. Our only choice was the front site near the truck noisy highway. Would not return here. - smoothsailin
Jan 2015 - $11.00
Great park and very friendly Owners! We really enjoyed our stay here! The owners of this park are super neat people, all sites are gravel and very spacious. We enjoyed our short stay here and will come back if ever in the area! - fusion34
Sep 2013 - $25.00
A very convenient spot when traveling in the Eastern end of the Columbia River area. All sites are gravel, but level and we'll laid out. Good spacing between sites with young trees in the right spots for future shade. Nice laundry facilities to serve their less transient clients. Certainly a park to keep in mind. - Dunwoodyradio
Aug 2016 - $95.00
Very nice little park, a little tight, but was able to pull thru without unhooking the tow. The $95 was for 3 nights, including all taxes. Would stay here again. - Dave_er
Aug 2016 - $35.00
This is a new and very nice, smaller RV park located just a few miles off of I-84 along the Columbia River. Roads and sites are paved with a grass strip and a small shade tree between each site. All sites, both pull-through and back-in, are full hookup with 20/30/50 amps. There are clean and modern bathrooms, showers, laundry, and a lounge/TV room in the office building. Check-in was pleasant and efficient, but they only take cash or check, no credit cards. The WiFi worked great! There is no pool nor playground but a city park and a swimming beach on the river are a short walk away along with lots of places to walk a dog. - JoyceM
