This campground was recently sold to Linn county. The weekend we visited was immediately after the transition had occurred, so there were some growing pains as the staff was dealing with that. The credit card machines didn't work, the reservations had been erased, and the hand tools / gas can / etc. were taken by the previous owner. I assume these sorts of details will be sorted out of the next few months. The park was primarily long term residents, but the county has increased the monthly rate and put 14 day rule and rig age rules in place, so the long term residents have apparently started leaving already (according to one person we talked to). We also heard that the bathroom is occasionally used by passing truckers and that the coded lock door to the bathroom doesn't seem to always work. We went in the bathroom just to test the code and saw there is a switch on the opposite side to turn on/off the code requirement. The bathrooms seemed clean enough, although we did not use them. The park itself was very nice. The spaces were a little short so they had us park in the site next door - which is unfortunate if they are using many spots for parking. The WiFi was exceptionally good. The cable was fine but there were limited channels (no ESPN but Fox Sports 1 and 2?). The lake was beautiful, although we noticed that the boats on their website did not appear to be there. I'm not sure what the county's plan is, so if you are interested in boat rental definitely inquire about that specifically. We did hear the mill across the street, which runs at all hours, but the noise did not bother us. We would return here during the summer if boat rental was available. We camped at Edgewater RV Resort & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Terrific little RV park next to Foster Lake. Infrastructure looked like it was still new. All sites have concrete pads, privacy fences to separate your hookups from the site next door, excellent site markings, and nice lighting. Boat rentals on site, or if you bring a boat, they have a really nice marina and boat launch. They quit advertising their WiFi because of previous complaints and overloading but we had excellent service the whole time we were there. We camped at Edgewater RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Brand new park near lake. Big spaces. Fire rings at each site. Good Wi-Fi. We were only there one night and only a handful of other sites were in use. Will stop here whenever we are on this road. We camped at Edgewater RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Camped here with 2 motorhomes, a tent and a boat. Good extra boat parking. Great managers - very friendly and helpful. Brand new last spring, interior paved roads and level concrete pads. Everything here is top notch. Some sites are a little narrow, but there is a table & fire ring at each site. Ask to look at site as some services were too far forward and luckily we had extra sewer hose. Restaurant, lounge and marina coming in 2009 as said before. We will stay here to boat many more times. We camped at Edgewater RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

We stayed here during their Grand Opening and it was wonderful. The sites are first class. All are paved and level. Most all are back in but it works out fine. Plenty of extra parking. People were very friendly and family oriented. Short walk to the lake. The lodge and restaurant are supposed to be ready in the spring of 09. We will certainly be back.
