We found this RV Park on this website. It was the first one listed and had a good rating. Although it is the furthest out of Tillamook (about 6 miles), it was well located to explore the area. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us lots of ideas of things to explore. The park was very quiet, very clean and well cared for. Pull through sites are just long enough to accommodate our truck and trailer. Sewer hookups are at the back of the site and required two sections of hose. We have three slides so the site was rather tight, but not overly tight. The laundry (two washers and two dryers - $1.25 each) and restrooms were very clean. Although I don't know about the old owners, it was mentioned that there are new owners. There are two yurts and three more in progress. They look very spacious and sleep 6 each. We would stay here again, if we were in the area. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is on the border of Bay City, just a mile or so north. Don't miss the Kilchis Point interpretive trail. It is about 2 miles round-trip on a gravel trail out to Tillamook Bay with lots of interpretive signs telling the history of the area and identifying different plants and animals. It was a very informative and enjoyable hike.

As others have said, if you are going to stay in the Tillamook Bay City area this is probably the best park in the area. Very helpful and friendly office staff. About the only negative is the dusty roads. No matter what your rig is going to get plenty of dirt. But aside from that the sites are gravel and level. Very good utilities we use 50 amp. Wi-Fi is marginal at best but good cell phone coverage. The area has a lot to do just pull it up in one of the search engines we think you will be surprised. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great location for this park close to the coastal cities and also the sites in Tillamook. Sites and roads are gravel with a small grass area for most. The park offers bathrooms, shower and laundry along with working wifi. See our full review and pictures at www.thegilliamsisland.com We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little park, centrally located on Tillamook Bay. It's easy to get into/out of and the spaces are large enough to not feel cramped. The staff are quite nice and there is recycling right in the park. We've stayed here before and will again when we can't get into another park. It is right on the road so there is a bit of road noise. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spend a couple hours at the Kilchis Point Reserve; it's a lovely park with ADA approved paths leading out to the bay. Lots of birds!

June 17 Tillamook Bay City RV Park, Tillamook, Oregon $33 for electric and w, discount for Good Sam 46 sites This park is located north of Tillamook ( the Cheese Capitol of Oregon) with grassy sites and many on gravel. There are back in and pull through sites and some tent sites. Check in was friendly and easy. Tillamook is so close with shopping, restaurants, Tillamook Cheese Visitor Center and Creamery ( new one opening in 2018) and Blue Heron French Cheese Co. with café, creamery, wine tasting, and petting zoo. The Blimp Museum also known as the Tillamook Air Museum is worth a visit and driving along the Three Cape Scenic Highway to the Cape Meares Lighthouse and Octopus Tree is a must stop. Tillamook also has a self -guiding Walk Our Blocks Quilt Trail which highlights the quilt making heritage of the area. This campground is a good place to stay and enjoy visiting Tillamook. This was an overnight stop for us and we would return if in the area. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great clean place, the lady in the office was very helpful and friendly. Another staff member was super friendly and very helpful. Some residents but very nice. Next to hwy 101 but not noisy at all. We stayed in space #1 fhu and pull thru, large enough for our fifth wheel. Gravel sites with patches of grass and table. Kilchis reserve just five mins down the road is a wonderful place to walk and read about the history, plants, and wildlife. would stay again. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I selected this park based upon prior reviews. A rustic RV park with decent hookups. Friendly lady checked me in. Helpful park maintenance man helped me pull in. Roads and pads are gravel, dusty, and not especially level. Sewer hookup runs up hill. Should run downhill. And the hookup will require that you have a long hose. Road noise is not a problem. A good location just north of Tillamook. I plan to visit the attractions in the area including the cheese factory and the lighthouse. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park, little road noise, clean and sites were adequate. Convient to to all actives on coast. Now the negative. This is not a park for dogs. Really no where to walk them or exercise them. Yes, the preserve is near but you need to drive. Also the water connection was way too close to the electric connection. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tillamock has the cheese factory and good ice cream. There are beaches, good restaurants, jerky outlet and wine tasting. This is the middle of 101 you are about 50 miles from Astoria and Pacific City. Makes for great day trips.

Price reflects weekly rate. We stayed 2 weeks. Small, clean, well maintained park. Excellent onsite manager. Easy in-out even for big rigs. Sites are a little tight but better than many places. Picnic tables. Good utilities including usable WIFI and cable TV. Cable required decoder box box installation, not a problem, just a hassle if staying just one or two nights. No dog park, but Kilchis Point Nature Reserve across 101 has excellent trails to walk to bay.

Showers cost $.25 for three minutes, which I thought a little odd, but they are clean and really hot. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

All services are available in Tillamook. Rosenburg Lumber has or can get about anything needed.

Go to the Cape Mears lighthouse. Go to the Tillamook Cheese factory. Go to Blue Heron cheese store. See the Pioneer Museum. See the Air Museum, especially for the building itself, the largest wooden structure in the world.

Eat at Fish Peddler in Bay City, on the pier in the Pacific Oyster building. 20% off for seniors Tuesday night but remember to ask for discount. They close at 7 pm.

Linda was extremely polite and helpful. She even brought our mail to our RV. Sites and roads are adequate for big rigs and they have both pull-thrus and back-ins. Some shaded sites. Gravel roads and pads are level. Convenient to US 101, Bay City and Tillamook. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground worked for a single night traveling through. Everything was gravel. Our site had the septic lids right out of our door. Seemed to be quite a few extended living RVs but they were all kept up, no trash. The office staff was very friendly. Wifi was very good.

Access was right off of highway 101 and very easy with minimal notice. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The location is perfect to go up to Astoria, and then head South, we have been on several trips from here. Their WiFi is really good, and the cable TV is super with more channels then I have seen in an RV Park. We will be back next year. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
