Nice quiet park. Wifi is OK...Tengointernet...depends on demand. Water pressure is problematic depending on demand. Staff was friendly. Did not use their cable...box is required from office. Call for routing to campground. My GPS took me through 2 narrow bridges and roads. There is an easier way to get in. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

5 minute walk to town from rear of park. Very good food at Troutini although a bit pricey. Everything is made from scratch so it will take longer but worth the wait. Waitress was great. Bandit's offers happy hour on tap beer for $2.00. Bar food is OK. Locals will chat you up. Walmart a few miles away and outlet stores are walkable near the end of town.

We stayed for a week. We really like the location; lots of outdoor activities just east of the campground. You are in the city, so don't expect quiet. The park is clean and well maintained. The woman in the office that we encountered 3 times was unfriendly and borderline rude, but that was the only negative about our stay. Our back in site was roomy and partially shaded. We have a 33 foot fiver and had no issues maneuvering. Wi Fi was terrific and utilities worked well. Laundry room is well maintained with machines that don't rip you off. We would stay again. This park is not a "resort" by any means. As others have stated about 3/4 of the park has long term aka "monthly" residents which sadly is the norm for Portland area parks. It is very tight with neighbors that feel way to close and I was unable to extend my awning because of the tree that was right on the edge of the pad. I spent 10 minutes pulling tall weeds along the site after hooking up and could have easily spent 10-15 more. This park like all other PDX/Vancouver parks have ridiculous dog size rules and our girl had to stay with family during our stay. This park is ok for short stays but do not believe the glowing reviews that describe it as some kind of utopian destination resort because it is definitely not. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

A basic place to park the RV that is clean and quiet. Sites are very close together with the neighbors' sewer connection hard to avoid. There is grass between the sites, but no real incentive to spend time outside otherwise. Cement pad and parking area for car and an old picnic table. There is a laundromat in the back of the park, along with a small basketball court. Surprisingly, the WiFi is great...one of the best connections we have had in three summers of traveling. This is a reasonably priced place to stay, but no frills. There are several permanent and/or long term residents, who keep their sites looking nice. If we had a reason to come back to this area, we would likely stay here again. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful Multnomah Falls is nearby, as well as the Historic Columbia River Highway with many scenic views, more waterfalls, and some hikes. This RV Park is a short walk to Historic Downtown Troutdale, a quaint town with shops and eateries to try. Lots of parks in the area and an outlet mall less than a 10 minute drive away.

Best RV park in east Portland area, easy access from I-84, large pull-through sites with additional vehicle parking at each site on the banks of the Sandy River. Satellite access from most sites in the middle two rows, back-ins probably not (blocked by trees). We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great park located along the Sandy River. Prices will vary by type of site ($48-55) - pull through, back in along the river, and back in along the creek. All sites and roadways are paved. The park is kept very clean; you can wash your car and RV here without a fee. There are several long-term residents here; the wait list for 30 day sites is over 100 persons. Stays are currently limited to 21 days. Make your reservations way in advance during the summer months. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We just concluded a 3 week stay at the Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in Troutdale, Oregon, and will definitely book future stays at this very nice park. Located on the Sandy River just a few miles from Portland, this beautiful park is a perfect place to to stay while visiting the sites in Portland and exploring hiking, biking, and scenic drives along the nearby historic Columbia River Gorge. This well-maintained Park has over 200 sites that include good sized paved level spaces with full hook-ups for all size RVs including numerous pull-throughs and back-in spots right on the river or on the opposite creek side. All spaces have nicely landscaped lawns, picnic benches, and many have nice shade trees. The quaint Troutdale village is within easy walking distance and has several small eateries and novelty shops. We were traveling in a 23 foot travel trailer and were in space 102 right on the river. It is a very peaceful and scenic location where we enjoyed watching boaters, rafters, and kayakers passing by throughout the day. There is a train trestle crossing the river about 100 yards from our space with several trains crossing during the day and night. We very much enjoyed the sounds of the passing trains, but if you find this annoying, you may want to consider an alternative spot. The Park offers very good free WiFi and an optional free converter box to access a full range of TV channels. Both worked very well for us during our stay. We did not use the showers but we did use the laundry which is very clean and has several modern washers and driers. The on-site managers are very friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome during our stay. We will definitely revisit Sandy Riverfront RV Resort again. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our stay at this park. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. The site was clean and had a great view of the river. They have bird houses full of little nesting birds that are interesting to watch. Lots of room to maneuver any size rig. There are a lot of live-ins at this park but they keeps their areas very clean. The town is in walking distance and although it is tiny it is worth seeing. There is a mall a short distance away too. Definitely would stay here again. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for a few days around our son's wedding just a block away. Very nice, well kept park with asphalt driveways and level concrete pads. Both WiFi and Cable worked well, and good ATT Cell service. Back "exit only" is used by most for in and out. Quite convenient to great little shopping area of Troutdale. Service was excellent. Busy Park even if "Off-Season". Campground is on the Sandy River, across the street from Glen Otto Park, and a block away from the touristy shopping and Restaurant lane in Troutdale. 4 blocks from the major Truck Stops prior to heading east into the Columbia Gorge. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for five days over Labor Day weekend 2017. As most everyone said it is a very nice park very well kept and rules are enforced. Everyone says stay away from exit 18 and they are right but if by chance you end up on it, it is not the end of the world as I went over it with a 35 foot motorhome pulling a car. Yes, there is some train noise; we never noticed it and definitely not an issue. I suggest if you have time to walk downtown Troutdale which is only three blocks long it is well worth it. The best part of the trip for us was the way we were treated by the lady in the office. She put us in a back in site where I could get no TV (satellite, cable or antenna.) I went back and asked her for some help and she said she could not help me until the next day. Next thing I know she is wrapping at my door and telling me she found a pull thru site I could have and it worked out perfectly. Cost me some flowers, but it was well worth it. Very nice lady that cares about her customer. Definitely would return. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park had some trees, and the roads were paved, in great condition, and easily maneuverable with a 36' DP motorhome. Sites were on the narrow side, with lots of grass (important if you have dogs). Power connection was 50/30/20 and the power pole & sockets were in good condition. The cable TV signal was good and stable. You need a cable box to get the stations, but the campground gives you a loaner box for FREE. Water & sewer connections were fine, as was the water pressure, and the sewer connection point was at ground level (great!). The RV parking pad was concrete and was in good condition, with an additional pad up front and to the side for your toad (nice touch). The WiFi connection was probably the best I've found so far in any campground, with good bandwidth for multiple users. We don't use restrooms, showers or pools, so we can't render an opinion on those items, although a quick walk through the building found it to be very clean and modern. There was no dog park as such, but there was an open field area and a river you can walk along that you can let your dogs run if you like (we travel with 3 golden retrievers). The price was on the higher side ($47 after a 10% Good Sams discount), but was reasonable when you consider how nice the park is. We did not notice any road noise since they are not near major roads.. We would rate this park a 9 out of 10. We stayed in a motorhome and would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Just got out of the wonderful shower at the bath house! I love this place! We made reservations about a month ago. I'm glad I did since there is real limited availability. Reservations on phone very good. I sorta wish now I would have reserved a river front site as suggested, but our site was perfect. Checked in with Very nicefellow who was friendly, helpful, thorough, patient and funny. Gave us a great recommendation for Bandits for food! Sites are close together...standard sewer by your neighbors picnic table. Our site nice and long! Can't say enough about the cleanliness and general upkeep of the bathrooms. Gal had just cleaned up a mess in the men's restroom so the floor had just been mopped, but she let my husband go in. He tracked dirt on the wet floor, then she went back immediately and mopped it up again!! The showers had great water power. Handicapped had good functioning hand held shower head!!! Cable tv a bit of a pain to connect, but ok. Tengonet worked great!!! (We've had issues with tengonet years ago). Close to darling town of Troutdale and access to the Sandy River. Can't say enough good things! We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.
