Ranks with the top 10 parks we've used in our 12 years as full-timers. Check in very smooth by friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We opted for a waterfront head-in site overlooking the boat basin. Good views of boats and seabirds. Site was very clean and well groomed and maintained . Wi-Fi and phone (Verizon) reception was excellent. Will be a destination the next time through this area. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

near several cozy waterfront cafes. Only a couple of miles from Reedsport, OR super market. Close to the famous Oregon Sand Dunes and an active Coast Guard maintained lighthouse and beaches.

Easy check-in without reservations, but early in the season. Had a pull-in site facing the water. Site was level. All utilities worked well. We've stayed here before and would again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We camped here one night, facing the harbor. We were in site 103, a front-in site. The check-in process was seamless and quick. The site was level, and had good hookups. The site was just large enough for our RV, a 34.5 ft motorhome with two slides. A larger motorhome could use the site if the motorhome were driven forward, but I don't think that anything over 40 feet would fit without overhanging into the service road. It is quite a walk to businesses, but doable, but I'm not sure there is much there to see. Check it out when you drive to the resort. We have stayed here before. As you might expect from the location, near to the sand dunes, it is breezy. But quiet and very pleasant. We would stay here again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice, high end (in my opinion) park. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and our site was available. Always a good idea to call ahead. We could only get two nights in site #81 then had to move to site #69 with no space after that. Our rate was the "winter" rate - the regular rate was $39.00. We got a free night as well as there was a big football game on Saturday so all guests had a free night stay!
The park is on the bay and/or marina and very scenic and easy to maneuver big rigs. The sites are pretty well spaced with foliage. The laundromat is great although spendy at $2.00 a wash.

I would recommend this park to anyone and I would return. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the nearby Umpqua Lighthouse and museum. There is a marked one mile walking path around the park that is appreciated.
There were many crabbers and just great boat watching.
Several restaurants within walking distance and Reedsburg has shopping.

Quoted rate was for a waterfront site facing the mouth of the harbor. The site had an asphalt parking pad and asphalt under the picnic table. We drove into the site so we could have the view through the front windows, were able to hook up by running the cables and hoses under the MH. The grass covered sites are wide with a low hedge on the utility side. There is a fire pit with a built-in grill. All utilities worked well; wifi was fast for a RV park, lots of cable tv channels, but a few were snowy. Nice walking path along the water. Definitely would stay here again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Excellent location right on the bay or marina. Very clean park, grass between sites. Short drive into Reedsport for grocery shopping, small market here in Winchester. Usually very windy but still a nice spot to ride bikes or do nothing. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, clean park. Cement pads with grass surrounding space and ocean or marina views. Park fills up fast, so reservations should be made very early. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the Winchester Bay Lighthouse. The tour is $5 and well worth it. A day trip to Florence is also a must-do.

One of the best on the coast! Only drawback is the sites are a little on the tight side. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park. It is in the marina on the river and the setting is very nice. The sites are close together but the park is well laid out and beautifully landscaped. I believe that the camping pads are asphalt but they could be concrete. They are not gravel or dirt. The folks that were running the park were first rate. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

this is the perfect place if you are planning of playing in the sand dunes which are almost within walking distance. There is a small floating boat/restaurant as you drive into the marina right near the main road. Fish was pretty good and price was more than reasonable. There is also a sourdough bakery just as you turn off of rte 101 to enter the marina. People are waiting in line early in the AM to buy breads and pastries. Make sure you try it and be sure to get there early.

This is a beautiful park. View of the marina on one side and the river entering into the ocean on the other side. Spacious sites with lawns and picnic tables. The road and sites are all concrete. Easy access into the park and sites.

The restrooms, showers, and laundry are very clean and bright. The laundries have windows which gives a nice view of the water.

The staff was very friendly. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

On the Oregon coast, lots of sight seeing, lots of small towns. Light house an museum close by. Of course there is lots of sand dunes to ride your quads. There's also lots of fishing, craning etc.

In our Top 5 RV Parks we have visited. From the time you check in, everything is 1st Class. Views are superb. Grass next to asphalt sites, walking trail along park, dog friendly. Nice beach within walking. Double spots available for friends traveling together. Two laundries available.

Verizon strong. Utilities worked great. Many seafood restaurants close by.

Forrest Hills Golf Club about 4 miles, great shape, 9 hole course. We will be back. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Light House about 2 miles, with tours available. Worth the time.

Came for a week, and stayed for a month. Beautiful views of the river and harbor. Very quiet, since we were here off season. Not too many kids, which was nice. Easy driving distance to Coos Bay and Bandon.

The sites are level, but we had to work a little bit to get both of our slides out due to the shrubs being at just the wrong height.

There wasn't enough room for our truck in back, or front of our 35' fifth wheel, so it was a good thing the park wasn't busy.

Very short driving distance to piers to go crabbing, and a lot of beach nearby for clamming.

Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV park is ideally located, it has 2 different areas that have water views. One is on the river/outlet to the ocean and the other has bay views. All sites would have a partial view. This is a county park and is very well maintained. Asphalt roads and pads with grass between the sites. This is our favorite part of the Oregon Coast with lots to do in the area. Our site was designed to back into we choose to head in and run the hook-ups under the coach. It is awkward but the view is spectacular. We will return. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For me, this place is a 10; others may disagree. If you gotta have shade, this isn't the place for you. Otherwise, it is hard to beat. Sites are wide and level, asphalt parking pads and lots of well-kept grass. View is good from all sites. Roads are paved and wide enough. They have some waterfront sites set up for motorhomes, some for trailers, so you can have the view on the right end for either. Staff is nice and helpful. Location is good. Good Verizon voice and 4G signals. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
