Great park with a beautiful view. Watch carefully for the turn-off to the marina...going south it comes quickly. There is plenty of room to park the rv when checking in. The process is very smooth. The folks there are really professionals. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The ATV rentals from Dune Riders ATV Rental on the highway in front of marina was wonderful...very friendly and accommodating. Great fun! We are going back to rent next year! Be careful not to book during Dune Fest as it is very crowded then!

We had a waterfront spot facing onto the marina. It was foggy for our stay which just made it more beautiful. The spots are tight but set up so you mostly see the water. We had to unhook the tow vehicle because the parking for it was next to the coach. There is a paved walking path along the waterfront which is great for walking dogs. We would stay here again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Top 3 RV Park we have visited. From check in to departure, everything first class. We had waterfront site, perfect. Utilities Great. Dog Friendly. Good WiFi. ATV's not allowed to drive in park(Quiet) We had some wind. When it is hot in I-5 Area of Oregon(50 miles East), you can expect some fog. Need reservations.Laundromat on premises. Will be back. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This place should be a blueprint for all 5 star RV parks/resorts. All sites have good separation, well placed utilities, beautiful grassy areas and landscaping. Wifi signal was consistently strong. Every site has views of either the Marina or the Bay. We stayed 2 days in a premium Marina view site then needed to move to an inside site for one additional night, that had a nice view of the Bay and was $41. There are 2 spotless laundry areas that we took advantage of. We would definitely choose to stay here again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

As others have noted, this is a first-class RV park. Very, very nice. Can't wait to return. Paved roads and sites. Great views. Good spacing between sites. Good sized interior roads. Very convenient to the dunes, beach, and marina. It's a terrific spot. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

One of the best RV parks I've stayed in. Full hook-ups with good wifi and cable. The view of the marina was such a treat to wake up to. The walking and bike trails made it easy to exercise and walk the dog. Close to Oregon Dunes and wide beach. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great RV Park. Nestled in forested hills and right on the bay. One mile walking trail around the park. We used the laundry facilities. All four washers and all four dryers worked. The facility was clean and well maintained. Easy in and easy out. All roads and RV sites are paved. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We just returned from a 3 night stay in this resort. It was a fantastic experience. The park itself is in the marina at Winchester Bay Oregon. This little town is geared for 2 things, fishing and ATV riding. Winchester bay is in the mouth of the Umpqua river, so you have freshwater fishing on the river or of course the Pacific Ocean is right there. The town is also right in the middle of the Oregon Sand dune system. What I found really interesting was that most everyone there was fishing or riding ATVs in the sand dunes; the beaches were nearly empty. One of the days we went down we had the beach to ourselves. It was great! As for the RV park:

Paved very level sites. All pull-through with the exception of the ones with waterfront views.

Good cable and actually usable WiFi. Not perfect WiFi but usable. Extremely clean. We did not use the laundry or the rest rooms but judging from the rest of the park I would have to guess they were clean.

Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. Wood is available for 5 bucks a bundle.

Fantastic views, from the forest to the sand dunes to the river and the ocean. Surprisingly quiet. I would have assumed with all the ATVs around that it would be noisy, but the town segregates the ATVs to the entrance of the sand dune area. They are not buzzing through the town.

Has its own dock just for crabbing. The town itself is a quaint little fishing town. More bait/tackle and ATV shops than restaurants and gift shops. A very extensive marina for those with boats. Several charter boats available for fishing in either the river or out on the ocean. If you are into the gift shop kind of thing (my wife and I are) ½ hour north is Florence, with a really nice old town area for gifts and antiques. Also ½ hour to the south is North Bend and Coos Bay. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

I had a blast while we were here. The office gives you lots of info when you check in about what there is to do locally. We did a bunch of crabbing! The sites are long enough that we could open our back patio with no problem. There was separate parking for the truck. The resort was laid out to help block the wind when you are sitting outside. Each site had a picnic table and fire pit. Level, paved pull-thrus with some pull-ins for motorhomes. I would definitely come back. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Go to Salmon Harbor Bait & Tackle to rent crab pots and buy licenses. The owners were super knowledgeable and helpful to us newbies! Double D's on the Rocks is a sports bar with really good clam chowder. Umpqua Triangle Oysters are the biggest we've ever eaten!

Ranks with the top 10 parks we've used in our 12 years as full-timers. Check in very smooth by friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We opted for a waterfront head-in site overlooking the boat basin. Good views of boats and seabirds. Site was very clean and well groomed and maintained . Wi-Fi and phone (Verizon) reception was excellent. Will be a destination the next time through this area. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We camped here one night, facing the harbor. We were in site 103, a front-in site. The check-in process was seamless and quick. The site was level, and had good hookups. The site was just large enough for our RV, a 34.5 ft motorhome with two slides. A larger motorhome could use the site if the motorhome were driven forward, but I don't think that anything over 40 feet would fit without overhanging into the service road. It is quite a walk to businesses, but doable, but I'm not sure there is much there to see. Check it out when you drive to the resort. We have stayed here before. As you might expect from the location, near to the sand dunes, it is breezy. But quiet and very pleasant. We would stay here again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
