We would camp here again. The park is well maintained and staff is helpful. The lots are well maintained, fairly level, and easy to get into. Each lot is unique with different layout. Easy access to lake. The dump station is clean, easy to access, close, and located just outside of loop. There is a swimming pool and modern playground on other side of lake, about 5 minute drive. Swimming pool is large with two water slides; 2 - 9 feet. There is a snack bar but they do not have any chairs. They are very rule focused. We visited in a travel trailer. - Next Mission

It was very nice they have a lot of wildlife. They have a nice pool. They do not have a camp store; you can buy firewood at the pool but you should probably bring your own if you can. But it's nice for kids to ride bikes. They have sites with electric and water. I believe ours didn't have either, but we washed dishes in the bathroom and brought bottled water. - Marg33
Jun 2017 - $25.00
Nice wooded setting. Sites have electric only. Several water fill stations spaced around campground. The restrooms/showers are old and dated. Signage directing you to campground needs improvement. We camped in a 23' trailer so access was easy. - Wilco
Aug 2016 - $34.00
Older campground with mostly seasonal campers. We were treated great during check-in. Wi-Fi is secure but doesn't work at the campsite. - Bburgbrewer
Jul 2016 - $34.00
This was just an overnight stay for us. We received a GS + a cash discount. The campground is in the woods, deep woods. I am not sure we would fit excepts in the overnight spots. A lot of permanents(weekend type) so happy we were there during the weekend. A typical family cg. Easy in/out, close to hwy. - Wandering
Jun 2016 - $43.00
We called ahead and there was a pull-site available. The site had a picnic table, but was so small that the table was right next to the coach. It was full hook-ups, but the sewer drain wasn't covered. Most of the people that stay here are either long term or permanent. These sites were better maintained (not all, though) than the available sites. Wonder if the long term/permanent renters maintain their own sites....
Our site was not even close to being level (we could never get the coach leveled, even in manual mode), the gravel was mostly washed away and the mud washed through the camp in the rain. Lots of standing mud. Thankfully we have an outside mat, but it was caked with mud, so getting in/out of the coach was still muddy.
Lots of trees for shade but, not trimmed. Low hanging branches and limbs in the site were not trimmed at all. Tall weeds, except in the roadways.
We were out walking and wanted to use the restroom, but it was so filthy that we wouldn't even go in. Completely disgusting.
The owner was nice enough (that's why it got a two) at check out, but was not around at all during our stay. The office was always closed.
We chose this campground because it was somewhat close to our friends' homes but, we would rather drive further than ever stay here again. - Endeavor Driver
May 2016 - $29.00
Not kept up well AT ALL. It was like staying in a crummy field of rocks and a little grass. Sites not well defined and not kept up at all. Would NEVER stay there again. UGH! - Moose and Squirrel
Jul 2011 - $28.00
This was an overnight stop. We arrived late and if we hadn't, we probably would've tried to find something else. This campground looks as though it's been neglected for years. There are some seasonals and it looked as though they gave up on keeping their site and rig looking half-way respectable. We wouldn't stay here again. - EJABsAdventures
Aug 2007 - $28.00
Found in AAA book. Very ruined down. Many older trailers with leanto shed attachments that have seen better days. Office staff tired but friendly. Fairly well stocked store (had ice cream) OK for overnight stop for hookup, stay the night then leave. Wouldn't want to stay more then that. - havecardwilltravel
Oct 2017 - $38.00
We had heard that Moyers Grove Campground had a great Halloween weekend experience for the kids. Well, it was a great time. They had a haunted house and a hayride that took you up there. My son and daughter got to dress up in their costumes and go trick or treating throughout the campground. They had a blast. The food was good and the nightly entertainment was excellent. If you have kids and want to do something with them during the fall then, I would take them here.
As for our campsite, it was spacious. it was grass and hard pack dirt. There were full hookups and room to decorate for the kids too. There was a picnic table and a fire ring provided. Make sure to bring your own firewood. - Shelia333
Sep 2017 - $30.00
We came because it was listed as a Passport America park. I called for availability and left a message. We went anyway because it was Monday and usually there is no problem on Monday. It is a long, windy road from the interstate. The lady said they are no longer a Passport America park. We paid the $30 cash. We did not get a campground map or receipt. She assured us we would get satellite reception. That is one of the reasons we chose this park is because a previous reviewer said there was a field with good satellite reception. She offered to change our site if we couldn't get good reception. She left and, of course there was no reception. We could not find her later. Call first for price and availability. It is not convenient for an overnight stop and you're stuck if you just show up. - oldcarfun
Aug 2017 - $38.00
My family were looking for quick camping getaway before my daughter started up school again, so we tried out Moyers Grove. After reading the reviews on here I was sceptical, but for the price we figured we would give them a chance. We had so much fun!! They had a ton of things to do like mini golf, fishing in two ponds, volleyball and the pool was very refreshing. My daughter had a ton of space to explore and go for hikes. On Friday they had an all-you-can-eat fish fry and even had breakfast on Saturday. There were activities during the day on Saturday and a fun DJ on Saturday evening. According to brochure, it looks like they have a lot going on during the summer and in the fall for families. The bathrooms were recently upgraded and were very clean. The shower I took had plenty of hot water and lots of room to change. The actual campsites were nice and rustic. We were on the creek side and enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the water. Be sure to visit the campground store for supplies and collectibles. Just a quiet wooded campground for a relaxing weekend. It was an adventure to get to Moyers with the country roads, but it was worth the journey! - Fred Smith

Feb 2007 - $35.00
Park now closed but was a good location when traveling. Park was right off of Interstates 80 and 81. There was not much at the park but it was clean and easy. Staff was friendly. - jcamp2131
Oct 2006 - $32.00
We were greeted by the friendly owner. The facility was currently replacing the front entrance road. (extensive renovation) We were escorted to our pull through site. We were also provided with a daily local paper and excellent assistance on directions for our trip to Delaware Water Gap. The cable tv was not quality although many channels were available. Everyone had the same problem. The sites were acceptable although it is not outstanding. The biggest asset of this park is the excellent location to the 2 interstates. It is the only rv park in the area and they have a captive market. Most of the units were large motorhomes and 5th wheels. Many of the campers were only there for 1 evening. According to our neighbors, they do get a lot of repeat business. You will not go wrong with this park for a "one night stand". It is NOT a long term facility. - jojolima
May 2012 - $31.00
This place was a little tricky to find but, glad we did! It's all wooded with a small lake and just a few amenities, good old fashioned camping. This place is not for big rigs but, the sites are decent size, bath house was reasonably clean and close to all sites and had lots of showers. It's quiet, away from traffic, maybe a best kept secret! - 88camper
Jul 2008 - $28.00
This is the worst campground I've ever been to in my life. Website shows nice pictures of the playground, pool , and gameroom. Those pictures had to be a couple years old. Gameroom is closed and full of junk. Pool was a nice shade of green. Playground was not taken care of and missing different pieces. The bathrooms weren't cleaned except dumping the garbage and the showers were pathetic. Two of the seven shower stalls worked; however, they were filthy and no hot water. Sites were a decent size but not taken care of. Broken picnic tables throughout campground including ours and exposed steel thru-out coming out of the ground from falling apart retaining walls. This is a real hazard to children. I would not go back here if it was free. For $28 I expect more. Its worth about 5 bucks. And lake in picture is only a pond , roads throughout were terrible. - Jim Carp
Jul 2016 - $3.00
This place is relaxing and quiet ! You have lots of space for your site . Most people here are permanent but very friendly . The owner is a laid back type of guy . It has nice scenery and a beautiful lake to fish or paddle boat. We are now permanent campers and we don't plan on leaving . - Allyson
Aug 2017 - $23.00
Hickory Run State Park campground looks like an old-fashioned campground in the PA State Parks system. Loops are gravel and meandering. Thickly wooded camp sites. Really nice if you like the woods. Restroom buildings are older and need maintenance. (Tile coming off in showers, one shower not producing hot water) There is an open air loop (basically a field) on the east side. If I had a big RV, I would go there. A large amount of campers are from New York and New Jersey. - kanling
Jun 2017 - $43.00
Beautiful park with lots of shade and trails. Clean and updated tile bathrooms. Modern playground. 2 night stay. Would stay again. - Rob Oglesby
Apr 2017 - $22.00
We were here early in the season. The park is not well-suited to RV's. There were several places where tree branches were left to grow over the roadways at a height that interfered with our TT. We are only 10' 6" tall, but the branches were still an issue. Aside from that, we had a nice stay. Lots of sites. Quiet. Friendly people running the place. You have to see the Boulder Field! Price reflects a non-hookup site and senior discount. - eduJamesE

This campground closed at the end of 2004. - PennyPA
May 2017 - $25.00
Stayed during Memorial Day weekend which was very busy. Overall the park is very rustic but the bathrooms and showers are clean. The pool seemed clean. There's a large playground with basketball hoop, swings & sea-saw for kids. The staff was very nice, readily available and helped as needed. The staff was very easy-going and accommodating to last-minute requests and upgrading.
The site is a mixture of overnighters and people who stay with their RVs for the season. With all the campsites full on the holiday weekend, it was very tight. Power and water are available at many of the sites, and others are primitive.
I think this would be a very nice campsite on a quieter weekend. The game room was older with a pool table, air hockey & pin ball machine. It is not a campsite with Wi-Fi and all the amenities. Don't expect hours of entertainment in the game room. It's the kind of campsite that you would relax by the fire, perhaps read, nap on a blanket in the field, play frisbee & enjoy nature. - CamperKim
Oct 2016 - $36.00
Directions to the campground were confusing, making it hard to find. It is quite a distance from grocery stores and gas stations. When I telephoned for assistance I got a recording. The facilities were minimal, the on-site staff was hard to find, the office was unattended and there was no answer at the posted telephone number, some of the interior roads were very steep, sites were heavily wooded. Our site a pull-thru horseshoe and not quite level. I would say that it was barely satisfactory for a short stay. - tweymouth
Jun 2016 - $34.00
Yes, this if out of town & in the woods. We called the park & the owner gave us good directions. Yes, the office, pool, bath & laundry are all on the top & you drive down a hill to the spaces. But it wasn't a problem. The spaces are back-ins, but long and plenty wide. I like that there is plenty of room between the rigs, unlike most of the places you stay. - anniekat
