This is a resort-type camp with facilities and prices similar to a KOA: two pools, shuffleboard, putting, etc. The pull-through site was plenty long but so unlevel our front wheels ended up in the air. WiFi was good, with at least six nodes in the campground. A long, dusty gravel road left our tow covered with dirt. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

This was our first trip to the campground and we will definitely return! Even though it is a big park and full this weekend, it never felt crowded. The staff is very nice and they are very laid back. Everything was clean and well kept. There are plenty of activities. This is the first campground where prior to quiet time, hardly anyone is to be seen, so it was very quiet. Except there is a major highway overpass near the section that we were in. The road noise and truck traffic was awful, but it would not deter us from coming back to the same site. Next time, we need to run the a/c fan all night to drown out the noise. I was afraid there would be a lot of golf cart traffic, but that was not the case. Checking in was a bit crowded as there is no where to park except on the entry road. I recommend using their express check-in so you can go right to your site first. Our site was very flat so there was little leveling to do. And it was easy to back in to. There is a grassy parking area across from the site that made it easy to back in. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very large campground with a large population of seasonal campers. It has gravel roads (wide enough) and gravel pads. It was a good ways from the office to our site, but we had an escort to guide us. Our pad was narrow but long enough for our 44' coach and our tow car. While our site did not look level, we had no trouble leveling the coach. You do need to watch out for some small tree stumps that are hard to see until you are right on them. There were some trees around our site, but we got satellite reception without issues, and the campground wifi worked well. The campground was pretty quiet during the week, but filled up on the weekend. While they advertise trash pick-up at your site, that service starts Memorial Day. We would consider staying here again if we are in the area. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

Very large campground with a combination of facilities; park model, etc. Park models are in 1 area, campers in another. Very clean and well kept park with lots of sites. Office was very accommodating and allowed me to keep my trailer connected and use 2 back to back sites as a pull through without an extra charge (early in the season, with lots of empty sites). Entrance road looked daunting, but turned out to be easy following GPS. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

This place is huge, and we came at just the right time because it wasn't packed. The fall leaves were pretty, the park itself was pretty from what we saw when we walked our dogs. Check in was great, staff was really nice. Our site had a dip in it, so it was rather tricky getting in and out, but the site itself was pretty level in its little valley. We were just here for an overnight stay, but we'd like to come back to spend some more time here (and there aren't many places we say that about). Good Verizon coverage, and over 50 cable channels. The turn getting back onto main road can get busy, and it's uphill so we waited a bit before we were able to get out of there. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff. Sites were right on top of each other and mostly dirt/rock (grass was sparse). Lakes are more like ponds complete with smelly pond scum. Game barn for kids was nice. Stayed one night and never saw pool area. Would not stay here again due to site size and condition. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice, clean park from what we saw. We only stayed overnight, as we were en route to our destination in Lancaster County, PA. Our pull-through site was gravel and not level at all. It was aimed uphill and was not overly wide. So if we'd had neighbors, it would have been tight. However, we would stay here again. It seemed like there were lots of things to do here, but we just didn't have time to enjoy them. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground that has plenty of activities for the family. Restrooms and showers clean but old. Appears to be a lot of seasonal campers. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Cable and Wi-Fi typical of large campgrounds. Good for an overnighter. Services at store could be better as the young ladies seem to be confused on prices and sites. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

Be aware that you have a full stop right hand turn into the campground road off Rt 30, coming down a hill. Not a difficult turn, but it will come up on you and you need to be looking for the road and not going too fast to slow down sufficiently. Very nice campground with super friendly staff. Lots for kids and families to do, including 2 swimming pools, kid's night that included laser tag, mechanical hog ride (an inflatable), club room, gospel sing, and mini golf. There was an abundance of golf carts in this campground; more than I have seen anywhere else. And we noted that some of the seasonals/long term had elaborate and pristine sites (even concrete pads). Nothing looking shabby or neglected. Our site was pretty narrow - that was a negative, but our neighbors were very nice and friendly. Had to shift the coach a couple times to accommodate opening our awning on one side and not having our slide hit the utilities hook up post on the other side. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We picked this campground based on reviews, a personal recommendation, and because we wanted to go see the Flight 93 memorial, which is an easy 30 minute ride right up Rt 30. Highly recommend this side trip. Planned to arrive and set up in time to get a free guided historical tour in town (3:30 - 5pm on Fridays). But, unfortunately, we arrived at the campground just before 3pm.

Very clean campground. Can hear road noise in sites in the lower section. We stayed in a pull-through site with full hookups. Good power, water, cable, and Wi-Fi . Would have rated all 10s if the roads where not so dusty. Would stay here again. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 1 night while traveling through as it met our needs to see the nearby Flight 93 Memorial.

The park is adjacent to US-220/I-99 but the access is a little interesting depending on which direction you are coming into the park from. The greatest obstacle to reaching the park is the transition off BUS US-220 onto the access road. The transition creates a significant angle which posses a possible high centering or a scraping hazard.

While the park appears well cared and the sites are open, it was built on a sloped hill. This is another park that doesn't understand the simple concepts of the importance of a flat, level site and that sewage doesn't flow uphill! The interior roads were gravel. The roads were very narrow with tight 90 degree turns. Even the two-way roads were narrow. The sites were gravel, narrow, but nowhere near being level. Our mud flap was damaged when the coach sat down on it trying to get level. The utility connections were about mid way down the sites. But the sewer fitting was on the uphill side of the site and the connection was several inches above ground which created an uphill run. The sewage didn't flow well. It seemed most of the sites had an outside table and fire pit.

Our site was towards the center of the park so there were no obstructions for the roof mounted satellite dish. But the trees in and around the park could make satellite reception hit or miss depending on site assignment and your dish configuration. Didn't try to receive any broadcast channels. There was an extensive list of cable channels.

WiFi reception was good but that could be impacted by site assignment & volume of occupants. There were a lot of open spaces when we were there.

No designated pet area but there was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads and on the ½ mile walking trail around the "five acre lake". There were a bag dispensers and cans to collect waste. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It was quite a drive to get to the Flight 93 Memorial and back in the afternoon on the day we arrived. The roads between the park and memorial are not the best.

This park is enormous, spotless, very well maintained with a friendly attentive staff. BUT..not all spots are created equal. We called for a reservation months ago and I feel like we were given this spot (323) because they knew that we wouldn't know what we were getting and no one else would take it. There was about 3 feet of grass between us and the motor home next to us and the fire ring was literally under the motor homes slid out. Yes, they came and immediately replaced it, but why do you put people with reservations in this spot w/o telling them what to expect! You can't tell me there was nothing else available when we made the reservation. We barely had room to open our awning and our table was right next to the sewer hook up and in the hot sun since we didn't have enough room to move it under the awning. Not very appetizing to say the least. The space was so tight that there was no breeze and with only one small tree you couldn't sit outside on a very hot weekend. Every other spot I observed in my walks had open spaces with room for tents, canopies, chairs and large parties. I called the minute we pulled into the spot, but of course there was nothing else available. There are other smaller campgrounds in the area and we will look into these when we return in the Fall. I feel like they took advantage of us not knowing what we were getting and I'm VERY disappointed and will not return. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.

We needed a one night stay on our way to Baltimore. We had driven all day to beat a timeline we had. I made a quick call at 8pm to see if they had any place we park for the night. The area we were in had very limited campgrounds so we couldn't get there until 9:45 and we were 65ft long. We had a 40ft Prevost motohome pulling a car trailer. We were willing to detach but they were determined to find us a spot so we could keep attach as we were on a time crunch and would actually be back on the road by 7am. They put us up next to a shed with electric so we could run the air conditioners. It was really late but the guy helped us back in to the spot and said if we wanted there was a sewer hook up if we needed to dump. They were so accommodating and friendly I wish we could have stayed. The regular sites were good sized, all hookup options available. Very family friendly. They had a nice store with all the occasional camping needs. The drive from the highway was a bit confusing but was occasionally marked with a campground sign just as you would start to wonder if you were going the right way. Once there it was easy. I would definitely come here if we were in the area. They definitely loved what they do, and are willing to help. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.
