We were looking for a place to stay on our way from Boston back down toward Virginia. It's tough to find good RV parks for a big rig about half way between those two places, but we found a great one. As others have noted, Bodnarosa is a very nice campground. They have about 30 spaces, plus about 20 very nice cabins. The whole place was built in 2010, so it's new and nice. All hookups were well placed and worked fine. Good wifi, too. We had a very large pull-through that was big enough so we didn't have to unhook the toad. Fire ring. We spoke at length with the owners, and it's clear that they are working hard to keep the place well-maintained. The setting is just lovely, with nice trees all around. Plenty of room to get in and out. Definitely worth the few miles of driving off the freeway. Just a lovely place. We camped at Bodnarosa Motel and Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

While researching a place to stay for a night on our way to New York I came upon this campground. With the great reviews I figured let's give it a shot. The campground is a true gem. Sites are all gravel and well drained. Size of the sites are quite nice and well laid out as you are not looking in anybody's windows. We camped at Bodnarosa Motel and Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.
Beautiful park, great hosts, great wifi and digital cable, a hidden gem.Roads around the park are in excellent shape and wide, hookups easy, a great stop over campground if travelling through Pennsylvania. And a lovely park a mile down the road with a mile and 1/2 walking loop around the lake. Would stay here again. We camped at Bodnarosa Motel and Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Rate does not reflect Good Sam discount. This park is lovely, and is staffed with the nicest people we have met on our trip so far. They also have tremendous food at the check in office, deli meats and BBQ. Digital Cable has just been installed and the Wifi was more than adequate. The park has a large number of really nice cabins that come with linens. One of the nicest places we have stayed. We already promised the owner we would return. We camped at Bodnarosa Motel and Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Nice park for our overnight stay. Office staff helpful. There is a full service deli in the office. Sites mostly gravel, good Wi-Fi. Web site states easy access from both Interstates 80 and 81. Access from 81 was a nightmare. Park is located on Route 11. Shortly after turning onto Route 11 we encountered a detour. Our mistake then was relying on GPS, which took us through downtown Wilkes Barre, not fun with a 38' trailer. Easy from I-80, just exit on Route 11 and travel approximately 10 miles. We camped at Bodnarosa Motel and Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.
